Good work giving background from BLOODSTRIKE #1, BRIGADE Vol.1 #4, and BRIGADE Vol.2 #1 for this review. BRIGADE quickly has a high body count as it goes forward.
BATTLESTONE got a 2-part limited series some time after these issues.👍👍

Love the videos and because of your videos I'm giving Young blood another chance. I got youngblood #0,1,3,4,5 and 6 today from a place called 2nd and Charles. Good place to get back issues

It starts getting good with issue #6! Also, there are some Team Youngblood issues (maybe 8-15) that I recall being enjoyable.

I was very disappointed with the Blood Brothers event. It was beginning to get interesting in the middle, but the interesting plot points were never explored further.
Questions: how did Kayo heal so fast from his battle with Bloodstrike? They mentioned how broken and severely injured he was, yet he showed up at GATE L.A. with Martin not long after, with only a broken jaw.
How did Martin get onto Bloodstrike's ship to rescue Kayo to begin with? And how did he get off their ship while rescuing Kayo, and how did Kayo and Martin then get to GATE L.A.?
What was so important about the weapons cache that Lethal and Seahawk obtained on Stone's secret hideaway island after she rescued Seahawk? Whatever weapons they obtained played no role in the subsequent final battle with Bloodstrike.
Most of all, I'm disappointed that the final battle ended with Battlestone blackmailing Cabbot that he would go public with Project: Born Again and leak all the names of those invloved with the project. If it was that easy to get Cabbot to not arrest, pursue or kill him, then why didn't he do that from the very beginning when they first butted heads right after arriving home from Genocyde's homeworld? The whole reason Cabbot was hired to go after Stone was because Stone is a liability, so for Cabbot to let Stone walk away because he confirms to him that he's a major liability makes no sense at all.
Lastly there was too much trash talking followed by ass kicking. Thats all there was. We learned nothing about their history as brothers, except that Cabbot hates Stone for bringing him back from death.
I was going to read Extreme Prejudice and Extreme Sacrifice, but I'm not going to bother if it's more of the same. I love the art and characters in Extreme, but art with no character development or intriguing plot can only take you so far.
Oh yeah, Boone was reactivated by Battlestone for this battle, and even though Boone was yelling at Stone for abandoning them, the next page he's telling Stone he's the only friend he's got. I dont get it. He hates Stone, barely trusts him, but then says he is his only friend. Wtf.
Please tell me it gets better. Please?

The 90’s comics are the most LOVED & INFAMOUS treasures of the planet hands down and I wanna see comics return to their former glory. I hope indegogo and Kickstarter can make this happen with some new and fresh young people who love comics and not like those parasitic scum who use comics for identity politics or hateful feminists agendas and running the comic industry into the ground. But people who craft and nurture their ideas to make interesting and amazing stories and characters. Thank you for your time and effort to cultivating your channel and giving us, your subscribers the content we love

    "EXTREME!" - Linkara.
It's interesting to see your take on these books, Crypto, since it's the polar opposite of Linkara's.

Pretty much. But to his credit he told his fans to knock it off when they started attacking Liefeld.

This might just be my opinion, but it seems like a missed opportunity that none of these Image Comics characters got to appear in a 3-D(or even 2-D) fighting game. They probably would've made a killing on the crossover game market. ^^
Imagine the Young Blood, Cyber Force, Wild CATS, maybe even Gen 13 teams facing-off against video game characters from Konami or Rare! Or even the heroes/villains from Malibu Comics! :D

Personally I prefer the original 4 Issue Mini series of Brigade over the ongoing series, mostly because I could get behind the heroes in the mini series in comparison to some of the other Extreme Studio stuff. I don't know why , but I remember the ongoing series just lost me.
Also I prefered Team Youngblood over the regular series.

My hope is to do a deepdive on Brigade and Bloodstrike for Rob Liefeld Appreciation Month next October. I've never read more than the first issue and issue 25 of the Images of Tomorrow gimmick, so it's high time I dove into them. I even have the subsequent Bloodstrike and Bloodstrike: Brutality miniseries that came out 25 years later.

I found a Gold foil Youngblood #0 in a dollar bin today. Haven't seen one since it first came out and was on the wall at my LCS when I was like 12 years old. I had to get it 🤓💥💦

Holy crap! I don't even have one of those! Another rare gem still missing from my collection is Extreme #0. Recently found the totally unexpected variant cover to Youngblood #9. Thought it was from vol. 2 when I bought it, but was surprised when I got home and cracked it open.

I love the first few issues of Brigade. The first issue blew me away with action and how Marat drew it. Later on his art style kinda started to suck to this day.
