Black dahlia murder for #1 Trevor's vocals are so savage and distinct. I've never heard any other band have quiet the same dynamic vocals from one person
Check out Darker By Design. It's my band. A lot of people compare us to TBDM, even though we've tried to separate ourselves to stay unique, you can still hear the influence. I promise, it's not some cheap garage band shit. You may like it.

Ensiferum is also melodic death metal, many bands are a mix of lots of different genres.
