Exactly the same game as the alpha and I have no motivation to play the alpha for a third time. This test is very obviously a server strain test, and a weapon data gathering exercise for Team Jade, since they have 2.1 million wishlists on Steam, and I assume want to be prepared for Early Access launch, and to do a balance pass over the weapons. Aside from that, I don't see why they are bothering running the, as far as I can tell, exact same alpha build they ran a few weeks ago for another week.
I played a couple of games and got bored as it is evidently the same build as the alpha and no QOL changes have been made. Having no option to change loadouts during matches, all the clicking to claim tokens (which is so reminiscent of mobile games), and floaty feeling vehicles are not doing it for me.
Shore load out only works for each specific release. Closed beta load outs don't carry over to this current open beta, and I'm assuming it will be the same for early access

@@TheCadWoman ah ok ty thats the main problem with large scale games, automatic matchmaking, if ur region isnt that populated ur just auto joined to high ping servers whereas with server browser, u can go to lower populated servers with better ping
I haven't tried the looter extraction mode yet but can anyone tell me if the footstep audio is bad or not? I can't hear anyone until they are standing on me and gunfire even when it is right beside me is quite. Same volume on 2042 and I can hear someone from 100 feet away.
I love how they made a big deal about this coming back for whatever the steam event is but it's not playable on the steam deck and it looks like it runs worse than it did months ago. 😂 I'm just going to wait for BF2025 at this point.

No, they didn’t steal IP … the fact it’s a different engine provides further isolation. Legally, they were just “inspired” by CoD and BF. 😂 EA sucks, anyhow.

At least in Havoc Warfare you can only use Y for the barrel attachments. Don’t know about extraction though.
It's so weird. In Chinese version there's a button you can press to claim all rewards/tokens all with one click

No I don’t think you can change server regions. It should all be automatic.

Im very confused. There are a lot of ppl with weapons on the battlefield that i dont have. How do i get stuff like the sr25 and the awm???
Depends on the class you play. The different classes have access to different weapons. AWM for example is Recon.
Does Havoc feel any better now than it did in the alpha? Supposedly they have reduced the amount of AI players in the mode.
For me it feels a lot better. More smooth and polished.

my problem is it feels worse than the alpha. lots of server issues and exreamly high ping games. i have fiber and only able to get 100-130 ping.
