We’re in the process of localizing and optimizing the China release version of the game for global Early Access release, and that version will have new maps, vehicles, weapons, etc., in addition to other community-driven changes and adjustments. Given the nature of Steam Next Fest, we still believed it was valuable to offer a localized build of the game that everyone could play, especially those who missed out on the Alpha. Fun Story: 12 years ago I was stuck in Hong Kong for a month because of Visa issues and bank issues. Watching Jack and Anderzel play the BF3 PTFO tournament saved my sanity. Finally able to leave HK, I got situated and bought myself BF3 because of Jack and Anderzel. Met a guy through BF3 living in the same city as me. We met up in person, I met one of his female friends, and that female friend and I shared our 11 year anniversary last week. Also have a 4 year old daughter. So, thank you, Jack. You've been an absolute gem on YT and I'll be here for the next 13 years =)

Man, I just wanna play the new BF so bad. To me Delta Force doesn't seem to have any atmosphere or personality in the game, just like 2042 didn't. It just looks... generic
The technical test was only a little over a month ago. Not surprised at all we’re playing the same version. They didn’t have a new version ready to show, but they didn’t want to miss out on steam next fest.
there have actually been a lot of changes. fall damage is different, reloads and literally every other animation is smoother than it was before. mantling is much better and moving about the landscape is a lot cleaner as far as what you can and can not get on, over or around. these are just what I noticed in my first hour. little bit disappointed in these streamers who are failing to recognize that.

Honestly I'm starting to blame channels like this one for this issue. The devs release a "Early access the final version is different totes for real you guys!", channels like this one endlessly hype it up as the next BF/COD/Etc killer and tell their millions large fanbase to ignore the bugs since it's _definitely_ going to get patched, and then surprised pikachu face _it doesn't change._

@@erikwurgler Same, the stats system is so confusing. Control, Handling, Stability, Accuracy... They all sound the same to me xDDDD I mean I looked it up and.. Control was something about recoil Handling is like mobility in COD games Stability is.. arono yet.. Accuracy well.. it's accuracy.. But they could've just made it more simple.. Accuracy, Mobility, Control, Damage, Range. Simple.. instead of like 73636373 stat
they all do different things the biggest buffs you get is from "configuring" each part. I generally max out all of the control/stability and maybe accuracy depending on the weapons base accuracy stats. on about 95% of the guns its worth to max out the bonuses for shooting and take the movement debuffs because they aren't too bad

i mean i get the frustration for nothing new, but i think what people dont realize is that THIS basicially IS what the game is gonna launch like. there isnt much new content for launch for this game that isnt already there. if you pay attention to the Q&As over the last couple months they already told us whats at launch. only 2 more havoc maps and 1 of them is infantry only. which is a shame, because this game needs atleast 10 havoc maps to have a nice variety going. and tbh they are def spending way more resources and focusing on the extraction mode. I dont think they really care about anything else.
@@NotSoScottish that and the lack of content is why i think the game will be popular for a couple weeks at launch and then people will get bored and move on. theres not much here for the average casual shooter/BF player.player progression is all focused on attachements etc and theres nothing to really gain. this game needs like a camo grind or some sort of incentive to keep playing in havoc and it just doesnt right now, all the cool camos etc are all tied to extraction. they get all the kool stuff. it will be popular with the extraction bros but thats about it

There's definitely something "off" about the game's atmosphere, but damn if it isn't fun. I played in the last closed technical test and couldn't put the game down, seriously haven't gotten that into a BF-like since Bad Company 2.

When I most needed to hear some encouragement message, you talked in one of your videos about your weight loss process, and that things could get better and stuff like that. Only 13 years, feels like forever! You’ve always been present in my adulthood. I think it was my younger brother who introduced me to your vids, must have been back in the BF3 days when we still lived together and played together. It’s not just the content in itself that has kept me here and keeps me entertained, makes me relax, smile and laugh. It’s actually mostly just the person you are, Jack. The demo build seems to run decently well (12600K, 4070tiSuper, Mix of Ultra and Extreme settings at 1440p), and I've had quite some fun in the Breakthrough mode. There are some kills and deaths once in a while that leave me questioning the tickrate/netcode though.
Jack, ive been going through some rough stuff, but having your vids and a few other creators vids here really do help, wether its a goody vid or a serious one of yours, it helps to shut off for 20-30 mins and just chill. Youve always been one of the most chilled, down to earth creators about and just wanna say a massive thanks for helping me and others through there tough times, means alot and I'll see ya next time :)

It's a fun game overall. But..... This isn't Delta Force. And there's already leaked skins of a guy with a gold skull mask and hood. Somehow they took the name of one of the greatest Milsim games of all time and turned it I into something less grounded than Battlefield 2042 and Ghost Recon.
Delta Force games, by and large, where always the awkward direction of being _a realistic version of the military action flicks of the 80s and 90s._ The closest they ever got with the actually more grounded approach where TaskForceDagger and BlackHawkDown. But now, it's an awkward position since, games like Battlefield and CallofDuty series already ran that niche(military action flick) to the ground. I'm just thankful I got the GOG of DFBHD before the new IP overlords took it off the online stores. As of now, I'm just contented with following up on games like _Ready or Not_ and _Ground Branch._

The biggest issue is not having region selection. 99% of games I get put in have 300 - 400 ping. Im in Australia and they have aussie servers because I can very rarely find a match with 20 ping, but the only way to find them is to join and leave matches until you get lucky.
They promised South American servers, and my friends and I have never joined a server with less than 130ms. We get placed on NA and EU servers, and this sucks...
I have mini panic attacks that my life is going the way it should not be, but then i put ur videos on and feel completly peacful and at ease. Ur the best
I'm really disappointed that it's yet another shooter with a roster of characters so they can eventually sell skins. I know it's a weird thing to complain about but it really breaks immersion when I'm playing on a team that all look like me, shooting at enemies that also all look like me. Operators with abilities work for smaller scale games like Siege or Overwatch where you have to pick and counter-pick heroes as a strategy, but in a large scale, casual military shooter like this, it just feels dumb.
Very meh experience. I like the selection of weapons, but i didnt notice much diff with attachments. explosives feel super underpowered to me. The extraction mode seems more fleshed out. It made me load up bf1 to get a proper fix but when it's out I could see me spending time on it since it's free

Can someone explain to me what's wrong with me ? Whenever I play Delta Force something feels off to me.. I feel like I'm paralyzed or something, Can't get kills, can't see anyone, recoils feels too much, Enemies kill me much faster than I do.. But when I go back to BF V, I literally become one of the top fraggers.. I see everyone, manageable recoil, fast ttk.. everything feels smooth there.. so is it something about me, or is it delta force ? Or both ?

The closed test prior to this felt far more smoother. As said in the video I think it’s an older build of the game, so don’t worry the actual newer build (previous demo build) was less buggy and far more smoother and performance was much better.

The game is ok at best, I don't know how to explain it but it feels like its seriously missing that special touch that BF3/Bf4 had for modern fps and even BF1. Uninstalled it after a few hours and back to praying that the new battlefield goes back to what it was
Honestly... it's the player base, at least for me. When I played BF3/4 it was with clans and player owned servers where you were actually social... Now it's just being in a "squad" with 3 random dudes who don't talk and very rarely work together with you. Hell the amount of times people will just run over you and not revive, despite being in a safe location. I don't think it's something that can really be recreated intentionally.
@ArCSelkie37 I was playing last night and was constantly reviving people, but every other med on my team just ignored people. It's strange. Why play med if you're not going to support your team? The self heal is good but not op, so it's not like you get insane survivability. And the heal pistol literally auto tracks players, so it's not hard to heal teammates that way. I hurts my soul seeing how selfish people are in team games nowadays.

Entire game felt like I was walking through molasses. Changing sensitivity helped a bit but still not as fluid as Battlefield games are. Also recoil felt very random, like every once in a while the shots would just deviate wildly from where the recital was.

The hit-reg is atrocious...and aiming feels wonky and janky as hell. Worst experience i've had in a while. And pretty much only play FPS games. GrayZone Warfares gunplay even feels better than this. And that game is in a terrible state currently.
@@BsRitmos that's my problem with these games....Once Human is just a PC version of Undawn, Arena Breakout changed just a little bit in the maps still the same with its mobile.....these games are (I think) built around mobile gaming concept
You don't feel it, but most prominently you don't HEAR it. The soundscape for the game is in a very weird position. Lots of stuff just feels too quiet. In an actual Battlefield game you truly hear the neverending all-out warfare. Delta Force basically sounds like a big paintball game lmao
It is the same build. They just wanted to allow those who didn’t get access a try before it releases in the next few months. China has the up to date version right now that we get when it launches.

It seems like an okay game, especially since its free but if you are enjoying this, you'll enjoy BF 2042 much more if you can (which is easy these days) get it a steep discount. As bad as it was, and not what the community asked for... it is now pretty decent and much more immersive than this will probably ever be. But kudos to them for giving us something free that can scratch that itch and has more updates coming along
Jack. I love you my friend im in the hospital and I've been watching you to pass time, until i go to the bone marrow transplant floor to start my 10 days of chemotherapy. For a genetic disease that has affected me with wounds fistulas infections and a colonostomy bag plus a fistula near my colonostomy bag that made my intestine fallout from my stomach to the outside a few 4-6 inches so technically Speaking i have two colonostomy bags Its painful and you and other content creators have made this stay more bearable and comfortable than it should be. My main concern with this game is that it is very obviously copying battlefield 2042 (including some of its flaws), which is quite a confusing strategy for the game's design. However, I am always thrilled to see competition in the FPS market and am very interested in playing this once it releases

The movement is so janky and you can’t heal and move while prone, can’t heal and sprint, can’t use half your abilities on ziplines, also for some reason the m249 and UZI have the same movement speed lol makes sense

I actually heard about DF from the battlefield mode, but now I only play the Tarkov mode. As it turns out, the game seems to have its focused on the Tarkov mode, compared to 2042. As a result, a lot of the gunplay and movement in Battlefield mode feels janky, yet the Tarkov mode feels smooth as fuck, doesn’t feel like a F2P shooter at all.
Whenever my dog shits in my backseat, I remember that time I made a JackFrags video with one of my clips from BF1 and things seem to melt away and get better. Best of BF1 or something like that, it was an absolute highlight, of my then early career, and one I won't soon forget. Love you Jack and keep inspiring the little guys!

I feel the same! I maxed out stability and control and some guns still bounce to the moon
they all do different things the biggest buffs you get is from "configuring" each part. I generally max out all of the control/stability and maybe accuracy depending on the weapons base accuracy stats. on about 95% of the guns its worth to max out the bonuses for shooting and take the movement debuffs because they aren't too bad

i mean i get the frustration for nothing new, but i think what people dont realize is that THIS basicially IS what the game is gonna launch like. there isnt much new content for launch for this game that isnt already there. if you pay attention to the Q&As over the last couple months they already told us whats at launch. only 2 more havoc maps and 1 of them is infantry only. which is a shame, because this game needs atleast 10 havoc maps to have a nice variety going. and tbh they are def spending way more resources and focusing on the extraction mode. I dont think they really care about anything else.

@@NotSoScottish that and the lack of content is why i think the game will be popular for a couple weeks at launch and then people will get bored and move on. theres not much here for the average casual shooter/BF player.player progression is all focused on attachements etc and theres nothing to really gain. this game needs like a camo grind or some sort of incentive to keep playing in havoc and it just doesnt right now, all the cool camos etc are all tied to extraction. they get all the kool stuff. it will be popular with the extraction bros but thats about it

There's definitely something "off" about the game's atmosphere, but damn if it isn't fun. I played in the last closed technical test and couldn't put the game down, seriously haven't gotten that into a BF-like since Bad Company 2.

I think it was my younger brother who introduced me to your vids, must have been back in the BF3 days when we still lived together and played together. The demo build seems to run decently well (12600K, 4070tiSuper, Mix of Ultra and Extreme settings at 1440p), and I've had quite some fun in the Breakthrough mode. There are some kills and deaths once in a while that leave me questioning the tickrate/netcode though.
Jack, ive been going through some rough stuff, but having your vids and a few other creators vids here really do help, wether its a goody vid or a serious one of yours, it helps to shut off for 20-30 mins and just chill. Youve always been one of the most chilled, down to earth creators about and just wanna say a massive thanks for helping me and others through there tough times, means alot and I'll see ya next time :)

It's a fun game overall. But..... This isn't Delta Force. And there's already leaked skins of a guy with a gold skull mask and hood. Somehow they took the name of one of the greatest Milsim games of all time and turned it I into something less grounded than Battlefield 2042 and Ghost Recon.
Delta Force games, by and large, where always the awkward direction of being _a realistic version of the military action flicks of the 80s and 90s._ The closest they ever got with the actually more grounded approach where TaskForceDagger and BlackHawkDown. But now, it's an awkward position since, games like Battlefield and CallofDuty series already ran that niche(military action flick) to the ground. I'm just thankful I got the GOG of DFBHD before the new IP overlords took it off the online stores.
As of now, I'm just contented with following up on games like _Ready or Not_ and _Ground Branch._

Hey Jack to me your channel is a big landmark for RUclips and gaming. You helped me a lot of ways aswell. Having a good time, getting news about fps games, experiencing gaming history for games that no one can play now (first warzone for example) and growing up you and other channels helped me to learn English for sure

The biggest issue is not having region selection. 99% of games I get put in have 300 - 400 ping. Im in Australia and they have aussie servers because I can very rarely find a match with 20 ping, but the only way to find them is to join and leave matches until you get lucky.
They promised South American servers, and my friends and I have never joined a server with less than 130ms. We get placed on NA and EU servers, and this sucks...
I have mini panic attacks that my life is going the way it should not be, but then i put ur videos on and feel completly peacful and at ease. Ur the best

I'm really disappointed that it's yet another shooter with a roster of characters so they can eventually sell skins. I know it's a weird thing to complain about but it really breaks immersion when I'm playing on a team that all look like me, shooting at enemies that also all look like me. Operators with abilities work for smaller scale games like Siege or Overwatch where you have to pick and counter-pick heroes as a strategy, but in a large scale, casual military shooter like this, it just feels dumb.
How should they make money on this game then??

Very meh experience. I like the selection of weapons, but i didnt notice much diff with attachments. explosives feel super underpowered to me. The extraction mode seems more fleshed out. It made me load up bf1 to get a proper fix but when it's out I could see me spending time on it since it's free

Whenever I play Delta Force something feels off to me.. I feel like I'm paralyzed or something, Can't get kills, can't see anyone, recoils feels too much, Enemies kill me much faster than I do..
But when I go back to BF V, I literally become one of the top fraggers.. I see everyone, manageable recoil, fast ttk.. everything feels smooth there.. so is it something about me, or is it delta force ?

The closed test prior to this felt far more smoother. As said in the video I think it’s an older build of the game, so don’t worry the actual newer build (previous demo build) was less buggy and far more smoother and performance was much better.

The game is ok at best, I don't know how to explain it but it feels like its seriously missing that special touch that BF3/Bf4 had for modern fps and even BF1. Uninstalled it after a few hours and back to praying that the new battlefield goes back to what it was
Honestly... it's the player base, at least for me. When I played BF3/4 it was with clans and player owned servers where you were actually social... Now it's just being in a "squad" with 3 random dudes who don't talk and very rarely work together with you. Hell the amount of times people will just run over you and not revive, despite being in a safe location. I don't think it's something that can really be recreated intentionally.
@ArCSelkie37 I was playing last night and was constantly reviving people, but every other med on my team just ignored people. It's strange. Why play med if you're not going to support your team? The self heal is good but not op, so it's not like you get insane survivability. And the heal pistol literally auto tracks players, so it's not hard to heal teammates that way. I hurts my soul seeing how selfish people are in team games nowadays.
@@OnTheSpaceship0001 The thing is, you don't even need to be med to revive people... it just takes longer. But yeah, it absolutely baffles me to no end to see like 4 medics run over my body. Too busy running around trying to get kills i guess.

Entire game felt like I was walking through molasses. Changing sensitivity helped a bit but still not as fluid as Battlefield games are. Also recoil felt very random, like every once in a while the shots would just deviate wildly from where the recital was.

Many ppl saying game is soulless, while I find it very immersive since Gunplay feels crispier than any shooter I played since 2007.

The hit-reg is atrocious...and aiming feels wonky and janky as hell. Worst experience i've had in a while. And pretty much only play FPS games. GrayZone Warfares gunplay even feels better than this. And that game is in a terrible state currently.

@@BsRitmos that's my problem with these games....Once Human is just a PC version of Undawn, Arena Breakout changed just a little bit in the maps still the same with its mobile.....these games are (I think) built around mobile gaming concept
You don't feel it, but most prominently you don't HEAR it. The soundscape for the game is in a very weird position. Lots of stuff just feels too quiet. In an actual Battlefield game you truly hear the neverending all-out warfare. Delta Force basically sounds like a big paintball game lmao

It seems like an okay game, especially since its free but if you are enjoying this, you'll enjoy BF 2042 much more if you can (which is easy these days) get it a steep discount.
As bad as it was, and not what the community asked for... it is now pretty decent and much more immersive than this will probably ever be.

Jack. I love you my friend im in the hospital and I've been watching you to pass time, until i go to the bone marrow transplant floor to start my 10 days of chemotherapy. For a genetic disease that has affected me with wounds fistulas infections and a colonostomy bag plus a fistula near my colonostomy bag that made my intestine fallout from my stomach to the outside a few 4-6 inches so technically Speaking i have two colonostomy bags

My main concern with this game is that it is very obviously copying battlefield 2042 (including some of its flaws), which is quite a confusing strategy for the game's design. However, I am always thrilled to see competition in the FPS market and am very interested in playing this once it releases

The movement is so janky and you can’t heal and move while prone, can’t heal and sprint, can’t use half your abilities on ziplines, also for some reason the m249 and UZI have the same movement speed lol makes sense

I actually heard about DF from the battlefield mode, but now I only play the Tarkov mode.
As it turns out, the game seems to have its focused on the Tarkov mode, compared to 2042. As a result, a lot of the gunplay and movement in Battlefield mode feels janky, yet the Tarkov mode feels smooth as fuck, doesn’t feel like a F2P shooter at all.
Whenever my dog shits in my backseat, I remember that time I made a JackFrags video with one of my clips from BF1 and things seem to melt away and get better. Best of BF1 or something like that, it was an absolute highlight, of my then early career, and one I won't soon forget. Love you Jack and keep inspiring the little guys!
