This is a very lovely area however it is a lot quieter and possible a little more expensive in the restaurants etc than Kamala so it worth keeping that in mind
I've been to Nai Thon and spent a day there. It's a rather high end neighbourhood similar to areas around Cape Panwa. A lot of huge villas and fancy resorts surround Nai Thon. But it still offers small areas where you can get the usual cheap thai food and massages and the beach in Nai Thon is a lot more beautiful than what this video shows. This area is quiet. If you need the escape to be alone with yourself or with someone but still want to be pampered in luxury, I'm very sure this area can provide it. And the best part is that it's near the airport. You don't need to travel far to reach what I considere a relatively overlooked quiet paradise
Very well made video, informative and interesting. Been to Phuket many times, mostly the south, never been way up to the north like this. Seems this area very laid back, much less crowded and nice for relaxation. Unusual way to drive and record at the same time but this is the view on the ground as people would see it. Keep up the great work.....
Always enjoy your videos. Another video here that shows there's a whole lot more to Phuket than just Patong and the usual tourist areas. Phuket still offers a great escape. I think people expect way too much coming over to Phuket without doing proper planning or research. Your videos offer a much more honest and realistic introduction to the diversity of Phuket than most of these younger travel RUclipsrs who edit and show only the best part of their travels. Cheap and good holidays exists anywhere if you lower expectations, research, plan and chill out. Phuket is a MAJOR tourist destination especially in high season. There are some things that will be expensive.
Very well put I could not have said it better it really pays to do some research of places that you are thinking about visiting I try to show a realistic view of the places that I film, the good and the bad
I spent one week there 14 years ago when I first visited Thailand. I didn't do my homework and for some reason I thought Phuket was similar to Pattaya in size. So staying at Naithon beach I could easily go to Patong beach just like one can go to central Pattaya when they stay at Jomtien. Silly me 😁. I rented a bike and got an accident on the second day trying to ride to Patong beach, so I spent the rest of the week stuck in my hotel which was just across the beach. Very very nice beach and super quiet. No girlie bars if I remember well. So I was able to stay celibate for one week in Thailand. What an exploit ! 🙄
Nice quite beach it’s a blessing there are no jet ski and water sports! It looks cleaner and the sand looks white and beautiful as in the smaller islands! Nice tip for my next visit! Tnx and greetings from Italy Tony🙏
Hi, Nai Thon beach most of the time is as it is shown in the video but if you are visiting the area in the low/Rainy season depending on the weather conditions wave may be larger and there may be debris on the beach which has been washed in by the sea. Generally Nai Thon beach is a lovely beach. The Pullman hotel is a very nice looking hotel and the staff there seem very professional
Thailand Tony Thank you so much for your reply. I have one more question and would really appreciate your answer. I spoke to hotel and they advised me about Corkage fee which i believe is related to alcoholic drinks and if you bring to hotel restaurant. So my question is if you want to bring water bottles and soft drinks to hotel and consume in your own room or hotel premises? Is there any charge or restrictions regarding this? Many thanks
Hi Again Filpa as regarding taking in your own soft drink water etc there is normally no problem when consuming this in your own room and even food it's very rare that a hotel would stop you doing this in fact ive never heard of someone not being allowed to take in drinks etc to your room pool area etc, however as to regards consuming your our drinks in a hotel restaurant this may be different you are correct as regards to some hotels and Restaurants in general allow you to take your own alcohol such as wine but may charge you what is known as a corkage fee which will vary from place to place starting from around 100 baht some may allow you to also take in soft drinks / water however there are also a lot of restaurants that will not allow you to take in such items to consumed on there premises and i would recommend checking with the restaurant first if there are no signs saying otherwise.
Thailand Tony Thanks so much. I was actually trying to do a research and ask questions here and there and was thinking your video is about a hotel I was looking to stay at and things got mixed up. But thanks anyway for your helpful information, It is much appreciated.
Bang Tao is fantastic. Quieter and nice beach. Very good choice. Was there in December. It was the beach I visited with the least people. I went everywhere from Kamala, Surin, Nai Harn, Kata and Rawai.
I have to agree with PRser Bangtao is a good choice however I would also say Banana beach this is very beautiful set in a small cove I was there filming the same day I was filming at Nai Thon it's just 2/3km from Nai Thon the water is excellent that footage was meant to be on the Nai Thon beach video at the end as it's very near to that area however after reviewing the footage I noticed that a very small area in the picture was out of focus and didn't look right I'm guess I must have accidentally touched the lens causing a tiny smudge so I wouldn't include the footage, a really shame as apart from that it looked amazing I will be reshooting it in a day or so
I truly enjoyed everything about Phuket from the locals to how nice the Hotel Staff treated us!
Hi Tony - You were very formal in your early days of You Tubing 😁
Excellent video Tony!
Thanks for the video! I'll be staying in Naithon solo before my friends get to Phuket. The area looks great :)
Nice quite beach
We are looking at this place for next year. Recently stayed in Kamala Beach , loved it. Getting a similar vibe from Nai Thon. Thanks for the upload.

Can you buy bottled water from the mini market and what is the price? Thanks
Hi yes all the mini mart sell bottled water 500/600ml= 8 to 10 baht per bottle depending on brand.

Is it okay to dine-in in pull man even though you dont check in there?
Yes the hotel's restaurants do except guest who are non residents👍
I have video. Patong Beach.
Which beach in Phuket has the clearest blue water? Coming this month and was looking for a beautiful quiet beach with clear blue waters with sunbeds
Booked a hotel in the bang Tao area though
Bang Tao is fantastic. Quieter and nice beach. Very good choice. Was there in December. It was the beach I visited with the least people. I went everywhere from Kamala, Surin, Nai Harn, Kata and Rawai.

Just got back from Phuket. For me Bang Tao is the best place in phuket! So freakin beautiful!
Not crowded like all the other areas
