    My dear girl, I am 70 years old and have been through many days such as you are experiencing! Sleep in tomorrow morning and make yourself your favorite breakfast served in your best dishes, read your Bible, pray, watch a favorite movie, take a walk, buy yourself one delicious chocolate and slowly savor it, eat ice cream for lunch, go to the park and read a good book, dance to your favorite music, take a nap, give 6ourself a facial or wash your hair, make a simple pasta with meat sauce, or shrimp cocktail in a pretty glass…do what you know will make you happy! I will pray for you sweet girl! Know that God loves you and is watching over you. This down feeling will pass! 💐❤️🙏

    I'm glad I saw this video! I can tell you as a 72-year-old, the Devil attacks all of us. Many of us seniors have had husbands leave us after decades, kids reject us because they feel we don't matter anymore after decades of sacrifice for them. I've cried many tears over the last 5 years because I never thought this would happen to ME!! I listen to Christian radio to keep going and watch my church online, as I have trouble walking now. I'm alone, on SS, and work part-time for an emergency fund. When I start getting anxious and "what iffing", I go online and listen to WFCJ Christian radio. I read my bilingual Spanish/English Bible to keep fighting against the Devil. I used to think I was the only 1 going through this until I started seeing videos of other women this has happened to. Do at least ONE thing in your kitchen, take a break and then 1 more thing. Find a Christian station in your area, on the radio or online and listen to it. I will be praying for you!!

      I agree!! The devil doesn’t stop, before I started following Jesus my life was good, Once I had my nde and called out and Jesus saved me, my life has been a roller coaster I can’t catch a break. I almost went to therapy because i thought something was wrong. This lady prayed for me and I felt better. I’m 29 so I have a lot more life ahead of me (God willing) and I know I have to stick to Jesus. Prayers are being heard!!

      You allowed the psycho neighbor to project their drama onto you! Meek, you need to ask God for Divine Wisdom. Go into your prayer closet and talk to the one who created you… stop running to social media and go to your creator!

      Yes! We need our own support group❤. We women do so much.. I'm 56 and just adopted my 3 grandkids. Cuz that's what you do. But yes. It's hard. Prayers to you and all here 🙏 doing their best. Do not give the devil a foothold in your mind.. ❤🎉

    I’m 59. When I was a single mom of 3 in my younger years the thing that help me get through slumps was to just go outside. Period. Whether I read Scripture, prayed a Scripture or listened to music or play with my kids. For some reason being outdoors made me feel better. And stay out as much as you can.

    For me personally, mental exhaustion is worse than physical exhaustion. I can't turn my mind off, so even resting properly is hard to do. As they say, "this too shall pass." You are in my prayers.

    Meek I have bipolar disorder, and I got soooo many tools I use. My Daughter brought me a decorative box, and started me off with art work, books, journals, friget gadgets, and I add serval other things in my tool box also. Use it when you get stressed, depressed, manic, and Any and Everything Else. The best thing I have on my night stand is my Bible, with a few candles by it. Stay Strong Meek, and know that you have a Hugh community out here praying for you.💕🙏✨✌️🌺

    what do we all do when we're having similar problems for found grief for me the loss of my husband of 45 years. I read book. I read scriptures of the Bible every day. I journal out my feelings. Sometimes I even draw out my feelings. reach out to a friend a trustworthy one most of all meditate, and pray to God it hits us all no one is immune to this

    You sound totally overwhelmed. Constant thoughts can be exhausting, used to keep me up most of the night. Grounding exercises and meditation honestly changed everything for me. It taught me that every thought I have does not have to be engaged with. Like, I don’t have to actually do anything with my thoughts. It taught me that there is a part of me/my brain that is “listening” to all these thoughts, and that part of me is my soul. The meditation process is all about learning to disengage from the thoughts and spend time, still and at peace, with your soul. The flow on effects have been huge for me. There is a guy called Mooji that has some good guided meditation on RUclips if you are interested to try anything like that. I hope you get a break, and find the peace you are looking for 💚

      I’d love to try a guided meditation/ yoga group of some sort. But I don’t have the funds. I feel like I’d greatly benefit from it as opposed to talk therapy - which has never worked for me

    I listen to Christian music when I'm overthinking. It helps to uplift me AND I can do my cleaning (which gets neglected when I overthink). Remember - He told us to leave our issues at the Cross. Much love!!

    Meeks, I have struggled with depression and anxiety for years. It’s okay to not be okay. Stress is hard to deal with.
    I get scripture and think on even one verse.
    You are covered in prayer. We are all there at times.
    I have always overthought too.
    We are behind you Meek! You’re loved . It’s okay. Take a day for you focus on and spending time in God’s word.

    How do I deal? I hide
    I isolate
    I put one foot in front of the other .
    I’m feeling down too. I get it
    Sometimes we need to sit in it for a bit. I sit in it, I isolate and I take care of me. Journal?
    I had to go “no contact” with toxic people.
    Yeah I don’t eat … it’s one thing I can control.
    Girl you look gorgeous and u don’t sound sad.
    Take one feeling at a time

    Feed your body. Vitamin bs 1,6,12 the stress reliever and camomile tea even during the day and a must at night. No caffeine. Get the drink
    “boost. “ drink about two or three. The body needs the help to cope.

    I've struggled with depression since I was 6, I'm 56 now. What I do now that anxiety has been added to my load is I just binge my favourite tv shows. For me it's Gilmore Girls. I might watch that 3 times a year, from start to finish. Just be kind to yourself sweetie. If you don't want to clean, don't. It'll be there when you're stronger. Feel better, I know how it is. I also read and I also play The Sims 4 to relax. Find something that gets you out of your head.

    Awww I am going to be in prayer for you ❤️. I deal with it by literally laying it at Christ feet. I get transparent with Him and try laying it out to Him in prayer. Even if I’m crying and not saying words, God still hears our cries. Journaling, reading the Bible and praising and worshiping really helps me. It helps me to remember the times He already brought me through!

    Lifting prayers Meek!! When I’m feeling that type of way I pray. God wants us to lean on Him. He tells us not to worry. Lay it at the cross and let Him lead. You’ve got this!!

    For me, it’s my chronic pain. Bad pain days I don’t even want to get out of bed. I find the simplest things help. Comfort food. ASMR videos. And therapy. It’s ok not to be perfect, and not ok. We are all in this together. And as much as you lean on God - do these videos! Lean on this community you’ve created. We all can be here for each other and support and share our strength and love. I’m sending you strength, love and prayers. You’re strong- you just need a little nudge now and then from us to help refill your tank. ❤

    😢whatever it is you probably have gone through worse but if not you can do it, because you have too. Chip away at it, start somewhere and move forward to solutions. Talk yourself up in your head! You’re not going down like this, you own the room. If your kids are involved well, you have to be on their side even if it not something you may completely agree with. Trust your strength, trust yourself. Bring out the beast in you! Heck no, those problems aren’t going to win over Meek. 🙏🏽

    It's ok to not be ok! When I feel overwhelmed to where I genuinely feel like I can't do anything, I minimize my tasks, and maximize the self care and love and support from others I have available. Even on the busiest days I try to remember that if I push myself I will become essentially non-functional until I restore my mental health

    This too shall pass! That's the good news. You have to remember that thoughts are just that, thoughts. You can acknowledge them but you have to pick and choose which thoughts you give life to. One thing that will make you feel better is if you do something, no matter how big or how small. Even if you just clean up a small section in the house you have done something . And give yourself some Grace. You got this!

    There are so many good suggestions in the comments. I don't know what you're going through, but that overwhelmed feeling is not a stranger to many of us. For me, I like to take a walk, preferably in a pretty place, but sometimes all I can manage is just around my neighborhood, and when I can't get out at all - dancing in my living room or my bedroom. Journaling or listening to gospel music helps too. 🙏🏾

    I have some mobility problems and pain in my sciatica and knees are use a walker and a scooter when you go out it's so blasted hot out here in Cali that we're staying in our house. Tomorrow we will leave to get some fresh air maybe hit the coolest of them allat the mall. There are essential oils for anxiety to diffuse them or use them as a roll-on. I use vitality online. I watch hoarders on TV. The motivate myself to clean it kinda helps override depression.

      Oh do I know sciatica….
      It’s been in the high 90’s-100’s and over feels 105 for a month here in Tx.
      This does something awful for my mental health. It’s like a double bind.. I try to go out but then in 5min I’m dripping.

    Thank you for sharing your life Meek. I think you're a great role model for single parents and just anyone going thought it. I think that you gained so many followers since you keep it real and don't pretend like you have life all worked out. When I'm feeling overwhelmed I give myself permission to let the little things go (like cleaning) until I'm feeling better. That takes some of the pressure off. Take care of yourself.

    Hello Sweet Lady, I'm Laura. I found your channel while escaping my overwhelming despair. It's what I do when I'm lonely or stressed out. Search for video's that inspire me. I can tell you this, I am so proud of you for holding it all down, and having the self awareness to see where you are at, and to express where you are at by asking for support. That's huge! I'm 56 years old and been through it. Heck, I'm still going through it. You ask how others handle anxiety and what we do. When I feel as you do in this video, and my mind is reeling, that's my cue to shut it all down. It's so easy to succumb to the overwhelming events that go on in our lives, the free rent that our thoughts can take up in our head. I understand it's a luxury to do that, but I remember being told once to be gentle with myself when things got out of control or I feel overwhelmed. We do so much as Mom's for our kids, and we have to deal with being "on" much of the time. My advice is that when you feel this way, forget about the housework, it will always be there. Forget about cooking and do something quick and easy. Take YOU time to recharge. Be that a bath, a book, the Bible, or watching a video in bed of someone that inspires you in your life and in a way that makes you feel inspired. Life throws us a lot, and you shared in a video recently how much you miss your Mom. You are still grieving my friend, and that I'm certain is weighing heavily on your heart. Please know you are not alone and it's ok to reach out to friends that are following you like this for support. You inspire me so much with your video's and how you are holding your family down with such elegance and grace. I'm sure your neighbor hasn't been easy on you either. So unnecessary, so entitled and down right rude. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that and pray it's settled down. I'm praying for you and hope that you know how much your videos have helped me in many ways. Never give in to the negative spirits that want a hold on you. Just hold your head high Queen and in humility as you do, and know that this will pass, and that we are all here as a community to support and lift each other up. God Bless you, Laura

    You are not selfish, you are real, and you are beautiful. Sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves is to rest. As my dear grandmother used to say when I'd get all caught up in not cleaning my home like I thought I should, she would say, "the dirt will be here when you're dead and gone, so don't worry about it."     Meek, hugs to you ❤️ I am glad you are processing your feelings in this video. My Mom died last week and 2 days after her funeral I tested positive for COVID. I am 60 years old. I am feeling like crying but I have to take care of myself.

    Meek! You are not alone. Key words Over thinking and Racing thoughts. Make a plan all of whatever it is. Plan A Plan B and Plan C write them down. Pick the one that’s speaks best. Period! Leave it there and move on to the next if possible some day. Leave it. Put the plan in motion. I take a mental day where I Don’t Do Nothing. Not even throw a piece of paper away. That paper will be there tomorrow. Invest in yourself. Stress kills. If it’s not an emergency I sympathize and move on. People and thing will suck you dry and drop up right where you stand. Hang in there.

    The day you posted this video was the day I came home from work and was just a bit down. I feel like i can not relate to anyone there, for the exception of one person.     I'm praying for you. Life is tough sometimes and we have to prepare our hearts and minds to stand against those days when we feel tired and frustrated, that's when the enemy likes to attack. I personaly immerse myself in videos from my favorite pastors until I feel the weight lift. You are raising two children on your own, that's an incredibly difficult job but what I see are two children who are going to make a difference in the world around them. You are not alone.     I get it girl, I really do! I was a teen/single mom to two kids. It's hard, definitely. I wasn't diagnosed with depression and anxiety until I was about 31. Take it one day at a time. Do something for yourself, even if it's just taking a bubble bath with some spa music in the background. It is very relaxing 😊 Also, talk to your doctor if you feel things aren't getting better. As they say 'This too shall pass'. You got this girl! Keep us updated!!

    I totally understand you. I’m the same way I’m always trying to figure it out, how am I’m gonna get out of this rut, why am I worried, what can I do quick to solve it but I said you know what I can control I will, things that are a little harder I refuse to stress over it. Life is too short to let things overwhelm you. Remember life is temporary things are temporary most things we need to let go anyway. Stay strong.

    It's always ok to not be ok. I also overthink. How do I deal with stress and anxiety? It sounds corny to some, but at night after a particularly hard day I pray. I pray about every single thing that is weighing on my mind heart heavily and why, visualize each of them being put into a box and then hand the box to God when I am done and ask for clarity and assistance getting thru. I pray to wake up with a clear mind and heart. When the thoughts creep back in during the day I pray and ask for clarity ad remind myself that I am not alone, God is also thinking about it with me.

    Hi Meek,I hate when I get like this.I have to bring it to God, know matter what the problem is I can't he can i think I'll let him,so let go and let God!Im glad you posted it just talking about it helps you process it, and then sometimes it's cleaning rearranging furniture and decor and sometimes it's gardening and I pray through doing the physical tasks.Also writing helps.If your going through stresses because of someone else pray for them.God will always see you through it.I don't know if this helps or makes sense.But im lifting you up in prayers for this season of challenge.God bless you sweet friend.🙏🕊️💚

I can’t get it together daily I find myself trying to fix everything and everybody but myself is not included.     I’m 63 and honey I have days like that and sometimes I feel like I’m losing my mind to the point where I have to step back from everyone and everything I find comfort in prayer and keep reminding myself that “God’s Got This” I’m praying for you this too shall pass and remember your human everyday won’t be easy but please know that God’s got this 🙏🏽😘

    As a believer I want to tell you what you think of yourself matters. Give it a few days but tell yourself something different. Like if you don’t feel like you have the strength start telling yourself you have the strength. Try reading switch on your brain by Caroline Leaf. You got this sis.

    Personally, overthinking paralyzes me.
    Overthinking keeps me up at night.
    Overthinking keeps me from being present and focused.
    Reading Holy Scripture and prayers helps me push through tasks.
    I also find that spending time outdoors helps.
    Sitting on my front porch, back deck, or a brisk walk ... all help me to slow down and reset.

    When stuck in a pattern of ruminating thoughts I ask myself, can thinking about this accomplish anything? If the answer is yes, then I journal what needs to be accomplished with those thoughts and create a plan. If the answer is no then I allow myself to dismiss those thoughts and focus on routines to the best of my ability to break the cycle of rumination. It’s hard, give yourself lots of grace. Make a done list instead of a to do list when you feel really low to show your brain what you did accomplish instead of focusing on the “I should be doing this spiral”. Did you get dressed? Write it down, did you feed yourself and your children, write it down, did you make an appointment, talk to a friend, do a load of laundry, write it all down. This helps train your brain to focus on the positives on especially low days. Praying for you as you navigate a hard season.

    You have a right to be tired. You have a right to have days like this. The important thing is to take care of you. Do what you need to do to make yourself better. I lost my husband a month ago. We had been together 33 years. I was already taking anti depressants. For me the answer was to up the dose and get on some anti anxiety medicine. That's not the answer for everyone but it is what is currently helping me. There's no shame in asking for help.

    I have terrible stress and anxiety right now due to a sorrowful situation… know we appreciate you… if you have music that helps you, listen.. l get in the shower because water helps me… l let the water just wash over me and pull the anxiety down the drain…talk to your trusted friend or two who can help you navigate…. I will pray for you Meek.. because l have a ton of overthinking to get over, myself…love you Meek, take sweet care of you…🥰

    The only way I can deal with stress, pressure, etc is PRAY MY WAY THROUGH IT. God will get you through it. Although, you may not SEE things getting better, I claim the scripture walking by FAITH not by sight.

    When my anxiety is at its peak and I have those thoughts that just consume my everything I take it to Jesus. I pray, I have a long talk with the Lord and I tell him everything and I ask for Him to please lift the anxiety and anxious thoughts and to calm my mind. And He does. ❤

    Meek, you are not alone and you know that. I will be the first one to highly recommend therapy because it sounds like you need to unload with an impartial counselor or Dr. Regardless of what you may hear about medication, it can help a lot in combination with therapy. You also sound like you are a spiritual person so I believe faith can also be a tremendous help as well. You may not realize it but I can see from all the positive comments that you get that you help a lot of people. Time to take a look and help Meek! Love you honey!

Tell yourself this is a thought, this is just a thought I don’t have to believe it, I don’t have to act on it and I don’t have to fight it I can let it pass thru. You don’t have to believe everything you think you can have thoughts without buying them. Tell your mind thanks for your opinion, but no thanks! 😊

    As far as not feeling up to cleaning to your usual high standards, it's okay to let things go a little when your mind is otherwise occupied. You are going through it right now, and you will come through it stronger than before, with God's help. Overthinking is only a problem if you rush out and try to take action before you have thought enough. The answers are within you as God is within you.
