    Fighting those fish is so fun on a fly rod. One of my tricks I used to do when I was young was-take a fly rod and both a fly reel and spinning reel wherever I went I was not 10 yet so I couldn’t transport a bunch of equipment on my mini-bike

    Jordan has anyone done a video on crabbing using the side scan sonar /fish finder to help locate the masses of crab? Could you or you addicted buddies do a video on it to show if it works or not. Thanks for all the fun adventures you put out and do.

    If it wasn’t for you guys, I wouldn’t have worked up the courage to just go out on my own and fish. I’ve had no one to teach me. As a lifer in the PNW it’s a shame I haven’t gone after any salmon. Thanks to you guys, that’s my goal this year. THANK YOU!!

    My grandpa learned to do that for trout in Wyoming and Colorado when he was in the army. We use it a lot for panfish here in Michigan. I also make unweighted spinners with Corrie’s instead of brass and use like a streamer for northern pike and bass

    Another great drop Jordan and gang. Since you like cooking so much in your videos. Maybe on one you can touch on your cast iron pan prep? How you get/keep it in cooking condition. Love the fly pole action in the LD

    Finally some TROUT fishing ! I was getting turned off by all the Steelhead fishing. Since I don't get those here in Eastern Sierra's , California! So jellous!! Lol. I finally got a tiger rooster tail today. Can hardly wait to use it

    Twice baked potatoes. Bake em, gut em, mix with bacon, cheese, shallots, etc.. then stuff & wrap in foil. Ready to go!

    I hardly ever get last cast catches. I usually do five casts without a bite or at least a follow and in either moving spots , switching lures or finishing

We are rehoming our Airedale terrier.. if you or someone you know is interested hit me up. He’s a great boy.. loves crabbing and digging for clams😅. Our space is too tight with him and our husky.

    It sucks we didn't get to talk to you on Saturday at the show. Standing outside in the little bit of cold, I got into a coughing fit and it took everything I had not to cough in front of Ryan and Cameron lol. My 5 year old boy was star struck seeing you and wanted to meet you because you're the "fishy" guy to him and he wanted to see little too

    Was real nice meeting you and Brook this past weekend at the WA Sportmans show. We talked about Herks for a sec and yeah I'm just finally gonna do it this year! been thinking about it for 20! Thanks for the push! 😂 If you, your lady and doggies want to come to Whidbey this summer and catch pinks in the salt you're welcome to camp at our farm. We have a sweet little spot on planet earth over here. We can cook those pinks up in my wood fired cob oven! Thanks again for another fishy adventure!

    Great job filming, Brook! The shots of the fire were especially nice. A shot of the dogs in the tent would be cool, do they get their own sleeping bag? The fish were beautiful. The food looked amazing.

    The Deschutes River red side trout is a complete different species native only two Deschutes river Jordan you should know that they are not related to a steel head

      I grew up on the Deschutes River the Maupin hi school mascot is the red sides I have never heard them called red bands
