Jordan soo good to meet you and your lady friend last weekend at the Sportsmans show. You made my kids day. they were so excited that they got to meet one of their favorite RUclipsrs as was I. keep up the stellar Content. the hard work, drive and passion shows bright through your videos- Dane, Evan and Owen
Fighting those fish is so fun on a fly rod. One of my tricks I used to do when I was young was-take a fly rod and both a fly reel and spinning reel wherever I went I was not 10 yet so I couldn’t transport a bunch of equipment on my mini-bike
Jordan has anyone done a video on crabbing using the side scan sonar /fish finder to help locate the masses of crab? Could you or you addicted buddies do a video on it to show if it works or not. Thanks for all the fun adventures you put out and do.
If it wasn’t for you guys, I wouldn’t have worked up the courage to just go out on my own and fish. I’ve had no one to teach me. As a lifer in the PNW it’s a shame I haven’t gone after any salmon. Thanks to you guys, that’s my goal this year. THANK YOU!!
My grandpa learned to do that for trout in Wyoming and Colorado when he was in the army. We use it a lot for panfish here in Michigan. I also make unweighted spinners with Corrie’s instead of brass and use like a streamer for northern pike and bass
Another great drop Jordan and gang. Since you like cooking so much in your videos. Maybe on one you can touch on your cast iron pan prep? How you get/keep it in cooking condition. Love the fly pole action in the LD
Finally some TROUT fishing ! I was getting turned off by all the Steelhead fishing. Since I don't get those here in Eastern Sierra's , California! So jellous!! Lol. I finally got a tiger rooster tail today. Can hardly wait to use it
Nice fish n yes I agree there nothing like taters cooked over open fire n the elk puts it over the top. I enjoyed the video n many tks 2 Brooke 4 the fine camera work. Keep them videos coming. God Bless n fish on
I hardly ever get last cast catches. I usually do five casts without a bite or at least a follow and in either moving spots , switching lures or finishing
Jordan I can tell you haven’t watched enough scary movies since you just went into a random cave…in waders. 😂 above beyond for great content kudos to you!
I’ve commented this many times b4 with all that gear you always have but never a rubber net . I’m sure it could replace something lol 😂 please bring a net for you us and the fish lol
I honestly believe that the "Last Cast Fish " is a result of our haste, and we do something slightly different in our routine, which induces a strike. But what do I know. =)
Mean as! Great content as per tradition👍🏼. I commented awhile back.. we converted a bus to an rv and have been in Newport for a bit. We are rehoming our Airedale terrier.. if you or someone you know is interested hit me up. He’s a great boy.. loves crabbing and digging for clams😅. Our space is too tight with him and our husky.
It sucks we didn't get to talk to you on Saturday at the show. Standing outside in the little bit of cold, I got into a coughing fit and it took everything I had not to cough in front of Ryan and Cameron lol. My 5 year old boy was star struck seeing you and wanted to meet you because you're the "fishy" guy to him and he wanted to see little too
Was real nice meeting you and Brook this past weekend at the WA Sportmans show. We talked about Herks for a sec and yeah I'm just finally gonna do it this year! been thinking about it for 20! Thanks for the push! 😂 If you, your lady and doggies want to come to Whidbey this summer and catch pinks in the salt you're welcome to camp at our farm. We have a sweet little spot on planet earth over here. We can cook those pinks up in my wood fired cob oven! Thanks again for another fishy adventure!
@Jaden Garner I was just wondering because I have a Fenwick Switch rod and Lamson Waterworks reel that I am considering selling. Thanks for replying. Tight Lines.
Great job filming, Brook! The shots of the fire were especially nice. A shot of the dogs in the tent would be cool, do they get their own sleeping bag? The fish were beautiful. The food looked amazing.
The Deschutes River red side trout is a complete different species native only two Deschutes river Jordan you should know that they are not related to a steel head

Love when you explain why a lure, then show how to use it! And once again, I’m hungry when I shouldn’t be lol
Such a rebel! Rooster tail on a fly rod. I call that innovation.

I just discovered the tempura seaweed at the groce out too! So good!
Twice baked potatoes. Bake em, gut em, mix with bacon, cheese, shallots, etc.. then stuff & wrap in foil. Ready to go!
Guga says that you should flip steaks multiple times. As far as I'm concerned he's the authority. Flip that meat yo!
Nice hunting dog
Fishing...eating meat and potatoes, It's a pretty good life you got there, Jordan.
Nice fish n yes I agree there nothing like taters cooked over open fire n the elk puts it over the top. I enjoyed the video n many tks 2 Brooke 4 the fine camera work. Keep them videos coming. God Bless n fish on
Brook did a great job being the camera woman!!!
Pie iron pizzas all day! Nothing says the middle of nowhere to me like a little pizza between two pieces of bread over the fire!
I’d say she killed it on the camera! I need to do some river exploring
Basically a sculpzilla streamer
No price tag on these memories! No matter what you do later in life, you will always remember this!
Addicted trout twitching jigs coming out any time soon?
That beaver could kill your dog , careful out there!
I hardly ever get last cast catches. I usually do five casts without a bite or at least a follow and in either moving spots , switching lures or finishing

Beautiful fish but you need a net!
Taters squash and trout...
What kind of sunglasses do you have

Getting jiggy with it 🤠 don't get much fishy-er' than that
Another epic adventure for the books! 🔥🤙🏼🎣
Have you done or thought about doing a quick tutorial video on tying up those sculpin jigs

I don't understand why you don't keep a cpl of trout? Obviously you aren't going to deplete them. They are so good along with the trout cheeks

Some of my favorite memories are from that Canyon. Hope to meet you one day on the water.✌️🤙
What canyon and river is this ?
@@dustinedwards4021 It looked to be in the Maupin area Lower Deschutes
Jordan definitely is a fish whisperer. Great video as always and I totally enjoy it. Can’t wait for my move to Washington in 4 months.
Hell,I've used small jerkbaits on a fly rod as well as spinners-whatever works brother
