Been living in Jersey my whole life, near the water. I have family and friends up and down the state and work all over, I think I've seen maybe 2 or 3 Harris signs. Trump signs literally everywhere. Nobody I know is voting for Harris. But keep in mind, tens and thousands of New Yorkers have moved here since Covid. So that could pose a negative impact for Trump. Trump should rally somewhere in Northeast Jersey
A lot of the state is staunchly Republican, especially Sussex County, a good part of Morris County and the shore areas. Plenty of Trump signs down there this summer. Problem is, the cities offset that. Newark, Camden, Paterson, etc. Same issue in New York. Upstate has a lot of Republican strongholds. It's just hard to overcome the sheer numbers in the five boroughs that go overwhelmingly Democrat.
Trump supporters are far more vocal them dems so yard signs arent a very accurate measurement to use, I live in a pretty liberal area in Michigan and I see around 5 trump signs for every 1 Harris sign, I know that the county is not flipping red.
I live in CO and that,s the same here. The state is ruby red except Denver and Boulder and because of these two cities, we always go blue. I am sick of it.

No doubt. Salem, Cumberland, Cape May, Ocean, Atlantic ALL Red! The others in SJ, will be close. But traditionally, South Jersey is our strong Republican vote. Don’t listen to the idiots, South Jersey is RED. Solidly.
I moved out of New Jersey in 2020 and i would be a shock. The state is one of the worst in safety and illegal immigration. The state is very highly segregated. I think Trump will finally set the way for a potential purple state in the future.
As a New Jersey resident, South Jersey and North Jersey are extremely different culturally. Our (South Jersey) House rep is a Republican and anecdotally there's a lot of Trump support here and just not a lot of Harris support in South Jersey

The wild card, of course, is the part of the state that allegedly doesn't exist: Central Jersey. Even there it's split; you got the Dem strongholds near the liberal ass shore, like Asbury, Brick, Toms River, and Seaside, and the more conservative McMansion/farmland exurbia parts in Jackson, Howell, Freehold, and Manalapan that will almost certainly go Republican. Don't be surprised if Trump flips it. We elected HW Bush not all that long ago, so we're not Minnesota or nothing. Plus, given that he still has his golf course operating here, there are some serious personal ties he has.
NJ has a chance even without some of the swing states because of its large numbers of Jews and Muslims who are fed up with the situation in the middle east. I know many Jews from NJ who don't normally vote, voting for Trump this year.

It doesn't matter. The liberals in this state are so deranged that they will continue to vote Dem no matter how piss poor they are. Honestly, I'd say give it 20-30 years before giving the idea of New Jersey being a swing state any thought. During this epoch or zeitgeist or whatever you want to call it, New Jersey is a solid blue state
I asked this very question about NY in your ep2 video. I wish you saw it and got to it.. Was really curious.. Giving all the illegals flooding the streets of IL and NY, I wouldn't expect Trump to win this election but ppl are clearly trending towards conservative values and if he can swing some of the numbers in these states, 2028 might get interesting.
It's also important to note Trump being from where he is and his unique appeal hits New York and New Jersey way more than any other blue states. A future Republican, even one who does better in Virginia and holds the swing states, would almost certainly do worse in those two states. That's kind of just Trump's zone and the home turf advantage helps.
The thing about blue states is that there will always be some percentage of the population who won't bother to vote because they're disenfranchised by the monumental electoral hurdle that is living in a blue state.
