The Shape of Voice (A silent Voice) is one of the greatest redemption films of all time, animated or live action. It is a 10/10 and everyone who has ever wanted to have a peak into the world of depression, suicide and bullying should watch this movie. I have read on forums that this film actually caused people to seek help instead of doing things that can't be undone.
This made me look up the anime, and when I saw it was only a two hour movie I watched it on the spot. So good. Thank you so much. "A silent voice" if anyone was wondering the title.

I remember the first time i watched this... Mix emotion of depression, happiness, sadness and anger at the end such a beautiful underrated, i gotta respect them for making this, plus the another anime they made, "to your eternity" it brings me to such a despair that i started liking thanos... If i can only meet the writer and the whole team behind those masterpiece i would hug them
I met someone online and I fell in love when I thought I couldn't fall again. She soon had to cut off and end things, because of her own reasons, but I think she sensed something was wrong because I had my own reasons too and if it had not been her, it might have been me eventually. She's one of those people I will always love. We watched a silent voice together for my birthday and then I want to eat your pancreas. I'm learning another love on the piano and I want to make an edit of these two movies over a recording of the piano. I don't know if I'll ever show her with a message of appreciation, but even if I don't show her, I want to make it for myself, in her honour
Im really quite surprised that theres so much people who havent watched or even heard of this anime. Im glad for those whove now found it, hopefully u continue to recommend it to others new and old in the anime world. Imo its one of the best animes and definitely top 5 anime movies. Those new to the anime scene or even anime movies. Or if your just into something simular to "The Silent voice" i recommend "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" not as impactful in certain regards. But still an amazing watch. Anime movie came out in 2020 but theres also a live action that came in 2003 if youd be into that. Watch on friends.

As I was watching some sad anime for first time I cried a lot, I literally hated the main male protagonist but when he changed her life and saved her I loved the main male protagonist. This anime is a total masterpiece.

I met someone online and I fell in love when I thought I couldn't fall again. She soon had to cut off and end things, because of her own reasons, but I think she sensed something was wrong because I had my own reasons too and if it had not been her, it might have been me eventually. Those new to the anime scene or even anime movies. Or if your just into something simular to "The Silent voice" i recommend "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" not as impactful in certain regards. But still an amazing watch. Anime movie came out in 2020 but theres also a live action that came in 2003 if youd be into that. Watch on friends.
