I took my ten year old daughter to see them with AF back in September...It changed her life like it did mine over thirty years ago...We stood right at the stage. There was nobody in front of us but the bands.
For the people that hate on this band below I'm not a huge fan of this band. But these guys helped paved the way for what most of you guys listen to now. Have some respect.
My favorite since 1986 I had cassette tapes before the CDs the cassette disappeared while I was in Europe and seen them play several times around the East Coast and Europe they took a picture of my back in Philadelphia always going to be loyal to them no matter my situation and hardship
This promotion video is one of my favorites. Nowadays, Many female MMA fighters became famous like Rock star. This song was released in 2006. I appreciate this video. Nurse always fight many things. Especially, They bring Covid-19 down everyday .
man, I remember first time I heard SOIA it was in middle school i swiped a few cds when I went to a summer camp 1 week read tip up and down the coast of California. I grabbed Deftone's Around the Fur album, it was the new album at the time. The CD in it was Built To Last for Sick Of It All. Been a huge listener of them ever since. For some reason still haven't seen em live after all these years. Next time I see a flyer or something for SOIA in So Cal, I'm goin definitely, even if I gotta drive a little.
Dude! Go see them!! I’ll see you there! I slept on soia for so long and finally got to see them in 2016. They sounded so good at the LA show that I drove up to sf to catch the next one - I’m never missing them again! \m/
Oh the silly children calling this manuafactured, they formed in 1986, they were one of the bands that pretty much showed the brilliance of origional new york hardcore, same as Madball, this is what hardcore is, end of if you say youre a huge hardcore fan and this isnt good, well youre not into hardcore i suppose, seeing as that screamo stuff is just so damn revolting
I first started to listened to them when their discography was their 7" on Revelation, and their first 3 LP's, I started to listen to hardcore / punk in 94. Manufactured?! Go on discogs and see where their DIY demo from 86 on cassette looks like, they're basically the breath of fresh air with a few other NYC bands that saved hardcore, after the first wave of the early 80's died off by 84 or so. I know this is a comment from 14 years ago but yeah, you deserve that upvote + reply, who the fuck is thinking SOIA is not underground-made and always carried the DIY spirit, they were on one big label, once and got dropped because of course they didn't sell enough for Elektra, but they had recorded the whole album (Built To Last), same as Call To Arms before a DIY success story of a label, Fat Wreck Chords asked em if they would sign a 4 album deal when they could never find a label stable enough or that weren't bigwigs looking to cash in (Elektra) on their music, they hadn't even had given the recordings of those 2 albums to anyone when EastWest folded, they had no place to go, it took Fat Mike wanting a hardcore band on his non-RIAA (had to fight them to even get off their list) for em to get a stable home for a good while, otherwise they could only make money by traveling to South America and Europe constantly.

You guys do realize these are all the bands that are from the discontinued Abacus Recordings label, right? These bands were on a seperate imprint of Century Media for hardcore/metalcore much like Century Black was for underground black metal bands. These videos are all 3-5 years old and are not new signings by any means, just new postings. The clue phone rang, answer it.
Yeah punk and metal is all about being different from the mainstream. I didn't exactly mean emo lyrics I just meant the form of screams (kind of like black metal)
This track.and my teenage years I'm 32 now. Still slaps hard
Same!
I took my ten year old daughter to see them with AF back in September...It changed her life like it did mine over thirty years ago...We stood right at the stage. There was nobody in front of us but the bands.

I have been listening to Sick of it all since the early '90's . They still sound the same and kick the same amount of ass!
Same. Seeing them live changed my life circa-1992.
Hard to believe they're in their fucking 50's! Not an ounce of energy lost.
You're still a nerd.
Miami FL, 2/25/17 Lou passed me the mic for the second "we don't give a fuck" hella lit

Or every metal band doing ufc/mma inspired videos?
We don't talk about Fight Club.

I love to sing: let's celebrate that we don't give a fuck. I feel so relaxed 😂
That. Breakdown.
Let's celebrate that we don't give a f..., is it me or does it seem slightly censored?
Some bands do it intentionally. Like Dope's song I Don't Give a F... it's purposefully censored
Shit, you went to Music University or something?
Minor Threat was from DC.
