- Ex-Corporal Mathew Adabuga, Player in the December 31 1981 Coup, on Tuesday July 6,2004 said Former President Jerry John Rawlings, Chairman of the erstwhile Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) sanctioned any killings he ever committed.
The Ex-Corporal was under cross-examination by Riad Hozaifeh, a friend of Former President Rawlings, at a public hearing of the National Reconciliation Commission (NRC) in Accra.
I have been watching this video several times and I keep on repeating the same thing. You don't need to go to a law school to point out at who is saying the truth and who is a liar. You can tell that Mr Adabuga remembers everything without referring to any document or scratching his head. He is flowing smoothly in all his responses at easy while Mr Hoziafeh is struggling to put his case straight. Even his cross examination is going off key all the time. It was a big miss for Mr Hoziafeh. He never had questions to ask Mr Adabuga . He was saying irrelevant issues that were not pointing to the case before the commission. Africans we should never be intimidated by any skin type. We need strong men like Adabuga who are fearless and able to face anyone. I don't think I will stop anytime soon watching this video. I need to tap into his courage and face the world with it. BRAVO Mr Adabuga . You have a right to stay wherever you wish. Let's not allow foreigners who think they ride higher than us Africans to do nonsense . Time of being spectators is long gone. Hoziafeh know this . I don't think he can make another mistake as before. Asians learnt something from this case and foreigners. GOD BLESS MOTHER AFRICAN.

My father was Ex Corporal Kwankye-pong, I remember he uses to say this, I quote ( we have suffered for nothing, we were manipulated and did something horrible thinking we were doing something good to bring Ghana on track, but all that we did didn't give Ghana anything good ). He kept on saying this when he was alive and because of that, He didn't want to hear J.J Rawlings name, and he became a full NPP supporter. this makes me come to knows that what the Ex Corporal Matthew Adabuga was saying is the truth. The manner in which Riad Hoziafeh cross examined Adabuga wasn’t professional and certain questions were uncalled for.
Adabuga was called in as a witness; and the questions Hoziafeh used to cross examine him were very vindictive and were suggestive that Adabuga was guilty as a criminal.
Hoziafeh didn’t adopt a neutral approach to determine what actually happened in the past.
Its like I can watch more of videos of mr. Adebuga. This man is a real soldier and a legend. Iyooooh...
