Mick was asked years after he retired how much money would the yankees have to pay him to play & he said he would of walked into Steinbrenner's office & said meet your new partner. Imagine if Casey would have said to play Mick at first base. No knee injuries, healthy legs & who knows how many homers & stolen bases could have happened

My fathers friend James Salinger played for the Yankees class D team in 1952 at shortstop so I actually can say I personally new a guy who played shortstop better for the Yankees then Mickey Mantle!!!
