  • It was said by many that the jungles of Chult were the most dangerous places in Faerûn. The plants were intelligent predators while the predators themselves were massive and armed with huge teeth and claws. Insects bit and stung travellers almost constantly, the heat and humidity was almost unbearable and the undergrowth contained a multitude of poisonous snakes. Worst, however was the disease that ran rampant in the area. Most things in the jungle had some sort of illness or parasite and it was very easy to catch such illnesses off them. Even the water was tainted and had to be boiled if it was to be drunk. On top of all this, the intelligent creatures that eked out an existence in the dense foliage were perfectly happy, and sometimes went out of their way, to track travellers in order to hunt them down and kill them.

    Perhaps a windswept tundra? The gentle howl of winds as the snows set in, trudging through the snow and ice for shelter from the chilling cold would be pretty cool

    I just want to say thanks for compiling and organizing this awesome list! All too often I use internet resources like this without too much thought, but this is very well done. Sometimes I like music, sometimes I like ambiance, but for a lot of situations there isn't a great song and ambiance can be better for atmosphere. Your work is appreciated!

      The Golden Hawaiian Swordsman Dragon HIGHLY imagines that you & a giant group of Treasure Hunters & pirates are in a giant human and horse eating dinosaur filled jungle, trying to reach a giant golden Azetc temple in the middle of the jungle in order to acquire gold worth $999,000,000,000, right?👒🗡️🐉🏴‍☠️💰🤔

    This is currently one of the best tools I have to help get myself and the players to feel like we are in an oppressive, hot, steamy, cacophony of a jungle. Its just hands down some of the best soundtracks Ive use. I love your work! Keep it up.

    I love your Curse of Strahd, Nine Hells and Neverwinter series! If you're on Chult / Tomb of Annihilation, may I suggest Port Nyanzaru? Bustling fantasy-African port city with a dinosaur twist. :) Could work in traders haggling, ships creaking, water sloshing, jungle bugs and birds and pack dinos rumbling and roaring about, it'd be fun and unique!

      @SwordCoastSoundscapes  6 лет назад +1

      thank you :) I'm currently doing the Curse of Strahd series, then i'll take a little break to do some requests. But after that i'll be starting on another campaign. It ,ay be ToA, we'll see what the consensus is at the time :)

    Insectoid oil should be applied to our silver weapons, torches, and lamps while hybrid and hemorrhaging oils should be applied to our other weapons. Kinetic attacks are highly advised although pyrogenic ones should be reserved for insectoids and in areas of little to no dried plant materials.

    This makes The Golden Hawaiian Swordsman Dragon HIGHLY imagine that a group of adventurers & treasure hunters are traveling through a giant human eating dinosaur filled jungle in the heart of a giant island. They're trying to get to reach a giant Mayan temple that has the largest amount of pirate gold and lots of other valuable treasures worth $999,000,000. But their arch-rivals are after the legendary treasure as well! Which group will get out of the jungle and claim the legendary treasure 1st?👒🗡️🐉🏴‍☠️💰

      Hey. I use Avid ProTools to put together the audio (importing various sounds from an extensive collection of sound libraries I own) using the background image as a reference for the soundworld. I then drop the exported audio along with the image into Final Cut to make the video.
