Thanks Paul! The base is solid metal and the bottom has a non-slip pad, so I don't think a suction cup would work, but I think it might be pretty easy to fabricate a bracket that straps the unit down. Let me know if you have any other questions. It's a nice little unit at the perfect price point!

Not sure if you'll answer this since it's been a year. I had a document camera that would show my books, but it would also allow me to show myself with my computer camera so the students could see it was their teacher. I think this product should do it, but would like to see that feature modeled. Is it the document camera or the computer software that allows that? My microsoft clipchamp computer will only allow me to show myself if I'm using the screen and camera. I have an IPEVO VZ-R, but not seeing this capability in it either.
Apologies for the delay! In order to show two cameras from your computer, you can open the camera app on your desktop and then share your desktop image which will then show both you and the document camera. Give it a try and let me know if it works out!
Hi there! I am going to buy like this for my lessons. However that pad you have on your desk with the angles and the squares grabbed my eye. Where could i find something like that? Thanks in advance!
Thanks and glad you like the IPEVO unit! I got my self-healing cutting mat (which is super handy to have) on Amazon and you can find the link here (it's my affiliate link) amzn.to/3HSwSXA You can also find get the IPEVO document camera here - amzn.to/3RyOKu4
Hey Tony, the IPEVO unit acts as a USB camera, so there should be any compatibility issues for most computers and laptops. Where you may want to look closer is the compatibility specs of the IPEV Visualizer software which can be found in the link below. If you're looking at purchasing 1 unit, I'd go through Amazon, but if you're looking at purchasing multiple units, I'd probably go through a reseller. Can this be used to record lecture and post to RUclips ?
Sorry about the late reply! Yes, this could definitely be used to record a lecture and post on RUclips.
Does this require a capture card or something to record the video?
ED, how do I acquire it?
Specs regarding computer compatibilidade , software?

Can I scan books with this instead of using something like a CZUR book scanner? I need a scanner to scan my books I have at home.
You definitely could, but for scanning multiple pages, I’d probably be more inclined to use a purpose built book scanner. Good question though!
