Hey Dominik, very nice video, Airbus 350 is the most stylish plane in the market. Additional to this, let me comment that at 02:00 you mention "Terminal 2 is exclusively used by skyteam airlines" but this is not complety accurate; Terminal 2 was made to relocate the most important airline in Mexico, and its international owner (I wont mention the brands here), but also other little airlines that needs other types of apron deck uses. Terminal 1 keeps holding the french and the dutch skyteams airlines. On the other hand, at 06:17 you asks what are the constructions working on the right hand, they are intended to be the third Terminal. Hope this helps to improve.
I really like your video and it is very accurate to my experience. I recently flew BritishAir and Iberia while traveling to and from Europe. While I liked the seat and movies on offer on both airlines, on Iberia I found the onboard service and meals severely lacking. I hope that will change soon because to enjoy the experience of premium economy and paying much more than a coach seat you should have a little more service such as refills on drinks at dinner. The FA’s only poured one drink per person and never returned to refill water, etc. As soon as dinner service was over, and it was rushed, the lights were turned off and did not come on again until 1 hour 15 minutes before landing at Dallas. Then we were served a very cold sandwich and a bite of KitKat before landing. I felt thirsty most of the flight as the FA’s were in their galleys curtained off. I know they are not machines and need breaks but I’m not a needy person either. But I found this to be tremendously inferior to BritishAir and as of now will not fly Iberia again. The only reason I flew Iberia is because they codeshare with American. BritishAir offered a superior onboard service with 2 hot meals and repeatedly came through the cabin offering water and juices during the flight. And their FA’s all had smiles on the faces at ALL times. Didn’t see that on Iberia. I do hope Iberia can get it together soon.
Brilliant trip report, love your engine view. The food looked really nice. I agree with you, in economy you can have a full row yourself so it might be as comfortable as premium economy.
Great job I hope you enjoy México, that construction at 6:15 is about to get another satélite terminal, order by the government to help a busy Airport, like México City Airport, who pre-covid was the busiest airport in Latam. I have a question for you, I am looking forward to fly to Germany, which are you recommendations for this, i.e. Fly like you to Madrid, ams, or fly with lufthansa to Fra. I know that, as a Mexican citizen I must go under a quarentine once I arrived in Germany
If you fly Eco, for sure the best way is a direct flight with LH..unless IB or KLM are a lot cheaper. So it really depends how much you value to sleep a bit longer on LH and have a more consistent service....I definitely would choose them. And food and beverage on KLM are poor - even in business class. And with IB crews..chances are high you would not be as lucky as Dominik. You might get a quick dinner and never see them again. Cheers from Germany..we are looking forward for you to to visiting us!
Thank you, I really enjoyed Mexico! :) Sadly, I had to fly back home to Austria after just one week. However, I can definitely recommend Lufthansa but also KLM. Finnair should also be great (via e.g. NYC then) but I've never tried them yet. Also Austrian Airlines and especially SWISS would be a great choise! :)
Found you as we will be flying Iberia (First time on this airline) from San Francisco to Barcelona - nonstop / A330. 13 hour flight. Based on your experience, would you suggest economy (at about $600 R/T) or Premium economy (about $1000 R/T)? Thanks in advance, and great video!
@@flywithdominik hi!! i have a question because i will be travelling from Amsterdam to Mexico. You don't need a PCR test if you are in transit in Spain, right? What did they ask in Germany to know that you are not going to Spain as final destination? just your ticket plane?
@@flywithdominik Na du hast es gut, nicht viele können sich das leisten. In vielen "exotischen" Ländern von heute gibt es aber nicht mehr viel zu sehen außer Dreck und Umweltproblemen.
This is a great video..thank you very much for sharing it. Well filmed, well commented and amazing image quality. Of course, I was thinking all the time the questions you raised at the end: is it worth it? Firstly, I am surprised but also glad that you were happy with the crew..typically, Iberia crews are not really famous for a warm and dedicated service, to say the least...it must have been your personality which made them smile:) And the product? You had an exit seat..great! Now if you would have had an exit seat in Eco: would there have been ANY difference? I bet NOT. The SAME FOOD, the SAME BEVERAGES (and same lack of beer...come on, Iberia..didnt they have some in Business? Again very poor) , the same space. Maybe different blankets and cutlery..but i also saw a plastic cup on your desk. I personally have never flown Premium Eco and I never will.
Thank you so much for your feedback! I actually almost never have issues with the crew. Probably because I was a flight attendant in the past...so I kind of know how to behave properly and what they like to see and hear. ;) However, as far as I know the Premium Eco seat is a little wider. That should be it. I totally agree with you as I also prefer flying normal Eco as it is more or less the same experience for a way lower price. The flight attendant actually even looked for a beer in Business Class for me, but there was none as well. I was a bit disappointed by that, but I thought that would be too unimportant to mention it. I'm always glad to receive feedback to further improve my videos and yours helped me a lot! So thanks again! :)
@@flywithdominik Thank you very much for your Kind and extensive Feedback Dominik! Having been a flight attendant helps of course! Once upon a time there was a project to make a new and more modern airport but the burocracy in the mx government killed the project losing a ton of money and built a useless airport AIFA that is so far away and so badly connected most people refuse to use it
Hey folks, due to copyright issues with Iberia's boarding music I had to mute the video from 3:45 - 4:05. Sorry for that!
Great video. Congratulations. Nice view IB A350
Thank you! :D

Super flight review Dominik. You should have asked the crew to change the seat when you discovered that your IFE was not working.well done
Thanks! I actually changed my seat afterwards. I just wanted to stay on the front seat to sleep because of the nice legroom. :D

No beer in a long haul flight? And the food looked like be from the economy class. Nthg special.
Absolutely.
It’s the same one. Alcohol was dropped in pandemia time. Now they serve alcohol again
No wine/beer/alcohol served? O nooo :(
Not on that flight. But they now serve it again as far as I know. :)

Is this really premium economy? There is no extra length as I see your knees touching the seat in front of you!!!
Yes, it was actually premium economy. I was also slightly disappointed by the seats.

Food is pretty mediocre. It’s even bad sometimes in business.

Terminal 1 of Mexico City airport the worlds most horrible terminal in the world. Fortunately, the Terminal 2 it’s much better.
