    @DNASlotCars 9 месяцев назад +2

    This has really come together well, bravo! 🎉 One concern I have is that when you build those other 2 aquariums you won't have the opportunity to sit back and take the whole tank in. Is there enough room to sit and relax between the big tank and the 2 new ones? Looks only about 4 feet space? Do you hope to keep the nutrient levels more under control in this tank? I see a lot of tough black algae in your previous installation, while it's not any harm to the fish, it's very unsightly. I would 3xpect the big filter should be more than enough to keep it stable. Good luck, I look forward to seeing this mature. You changed my mind on your scape 👌

    • @AquariumDomain.
      @AquariumDomain.  8 месяцев назад +1

      It is a little over 4 feet and the open area in the middle is 12 feet, so about a 10 foot isle to the left and right. I mocked up some wood to check the view and from the human eye it is unobstructed, but from the camera you have to pivot side to side....anyways I am still deciding 😊
      The 3000 never had nearly enough water flow, mechanical or clean up crew for big messy Cichlid and Bass, everything about the new build is to correct those issues. 😊

    Your 4500 gallon tank is extraordinary! Your beautiful monster fish don’t take up much space in there. That red atabapo pike cichlid looks majestic in there and I am sure he’s enjoying swimming in all those caves and exploring his new mansion tank. 😂 that big red Oscar is huge I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Oscar that big. He will definitely be the king 👑 Oscar fish in there. Looking forward to all your future projects and learning from you so I can build some monster tanks or ponds in the future.

      I have been really surprised how much the fish seem to love the 4500, they all just seem so calm now and watching them cruise back and forth is just the best! 😊

    Dude. Your tanks are absolutely amazing honestly. Most impressive setups I’ve seen on all of RUclips. Hell of a job!
    Also, that Oscar you moved in is HUGE! Lol. He or she has to be 15 inches right?

      Thanks! I measured the Oscar and he is 17" - 17.5", wild caught from Venezuela and grew up his whole life in the 3000 gallon. 😀

    You totally need some zebra Acari for the 4,500 Xingu River. They are a native pleco and are absolutely stunning. They may be protected though. It’s worth looking into.

    Beautiful work bro! I have a 12 yr old 18" flag tail. They get really nice as they get bigger. Love the bass! Regarding adding in more flagtails, I would add in another 4 to make a group of 5. The more the better off u will be. They do horribly in pairs.

    This video did not disappoint! Any chance you could make a video that goes through the things you are doing differently with this tank and predator bay, since you're remaking both? It would be cool to have a breakdown of what worked and what didn't...and what you're trying differently.

      I do talk about it in different videos, but I could see it being a good idea to cover it all together in a single video. 😊

    Bro, that is epic. Amazing. You might need a bigger sand area for rays though. They get huge

      @jfazande 9 месяцев назад +2

      You should get both species of semaprchilodus. That would look cool

    • @AquariumDomain.
      @AquariumDomain.  9 месяцев назад +1

      The rays won't be limited to the sandy areas, but I wanted them to have a nice deep sand area to burrow in when they feel like it. 😀

    It's looking perfect! I really wish I could have had my fish room build done before you started this build. I believe I have come up with a great alternative for heating fish tanks in a fish room, and large scale tanks. I will have to build it and test it before I can share it, but I will be sharing it when I'm done. Thanks for sharing it definitely looks excellent sir!!! 😍😍😍😁

    I've always loved peacocks but don't have the tank to keep them. You however do so i will live vicariously thru you. Can't wait to see them grow over the months to come. I've been keeping fish for over 45 years and i have 12 tanks african chiclids peas and haps plus tropheus also some planted tanks but you're build is just absolutely fatastic i love all you're tanks. I wish i had the strength and energy you have to do what you have done. I still can't get over what you have accomplished. now you're building two 1500 tanks to go along with everything else. All i can say is you're unbelievable i follow all kinds of fish keepers but no one has even come close to you. Again good job brother you're are inspirational. Later and god bless my friend.

    Have you thought about throwing some convicts (Central American - I know) in there to provide enough fry that the big guys have plenty of natural food, or do you think that might get out of control too fast?

      I have concerns about the big fish constantly chasing little fish that will be near the hardscape and eventually tearing things up (even if built for big fish) and second being if for some reason I don't want the smaller fish anymore that there is no real way to un-ring that bell. 😀😀

    It would be cool to try a large school (100+) of something like zebra danios or rummy nose tetras. Something small and fast enough to not be worth chasing for the big fish. Like how King of DIY has bleeding heart tetras with his piranhas. Just to get some movement in there.
