Newjeans vibes are actually more specific and structured than you realise... they are all old school and all based around 90s urban genres..
90s RnB with its clubland variants of Miami Bass and New Jack Swing (which is what supernatural is.. take a listen to Bobby Brown 'Every Little Step' it sounds a lot like it)
Then theres 90s urban Clubland Genres mostly UK Garage but also Baltimore Club, Jersey Club and Jungle/Drum and Bass(albeit a mellower version)
All genres most prominent from early to late 90s :)
I would call them a 90s throwback group.
