Concussions, TBI, CTE, & any type of brain disease from sports injury needs to be talked about much more. Some people experience brain injury from multiple car accidents. It seems most brain injury research is done with men’s brains, it would be great if more women’s brains can be studied as well. Good for Bernie for bringing more awareness to this issue.

I've been to plenty of NFL games but the one that I'll never forget was with great seats in Washington vs. Rams (Chris Long was new) at the 40 yard line 20th row behind the Rams bench.
At that distance, I finally experienced for the first time the reality of the intensity of the NFL. Smashing noises of helmets hitting so very hard. It's insanity. They beat the crap out of each other.

First of all, He was actually good. Secondly, Cleveland was trash, especially the offensive line. He took a lot of punishment because of it. Unfortunately he didn't have Barry Sanders ability in the midst of a poor o line. I'm glad he's lived to talk about it. We've lost many already to CTE. Let's rejoice in the fact he's here to provide insight.
