This is awesome. Thank you again. I have been playing in a Black Sabbath tribute band for over 20 years and it makes me happy to see you guys enjoying the hell out of this.
Guitarist Tony Iommi...credited with creation of 'Heavy metal' sound...unique because of a work accident at 17, losing the end of two fingers (told he would never play again) and getting back to playing...made his own plastic tips for his fingers out of melted washing-liquid bottles! Making music was always a struggle for this guy...but we're glad he persevered.
This song has an awesome groove. Great reaction. Black Sabbath is one of those bands that didn't have a weak link so to speak. Obviously Ozzy is a great front man and vocalist but the other three are just as integral. Bill Ward's drumming and Tony Iommi's guitar work are stellar along with Geezer Butler's bass and lyrics. I just think none of them ever took a song off. BTW, no disrespect to Ronnie James Dio but the original lineup is my favorite.
Your Brother in Law has awesome taste, as do you both, I wish you well great job. Interestingly this came out the year before I was born, 1969, and at that time there were very few bands that sounded anything like this at all. It was the birth of modern metal in my view.
Besides the obvious profound lyrics of Geezer, this song has always stood out to me as Bill Wards shining moment in Sabbath. His swing, groove, and feel on the drums in this song are all things to behold.
The height of the Viet Nam war and the violence around the Civil Rights movement, this song was the anthem for those opposed to the War, those of us who were in it and returned and wanted it stopped. This is a song that would of been relevant in 1914 at the start of the Great War!! A real masterpiece and the 1st true metal song that started it all. Still one of the best metal bands that ever played!!!! Thank you for giving this some listening time and reacting to it, a song all true metal fans would have listed in their top ten song list!!!
Tony iommi is a beast 🤘 🔥 He lost his two finger in the age of 17 but he still manage to that riff stuff. He is also considered as the riff master and one of the greatest guitarist in metal genre.
Trivia --- As a young man Tony Iommi lost his fingertips working in a manufacturing plant and was told he would never play the guitar again. He fashioned leather fingertip covers from an old jacket and re-taught himself to play without feeling the strings.
My favorite part of the lyrics is the end when the war pigs are begging for forgiveness to God and all the while His plan was for Satan to show them a horrific fate just as they bestowed upon the masses. Karma! Stay positive, Enoma. Adversity into positivity. Namaste 🙏
This song is a masterpiece. I've probably heard it a hundred times and I love it every single time. Read Major General Smedley Butler's essay, "War is a Racket."
Many parents reacted badly in those days to the name "Black Sabbath" without actually listening to the anti-war, anti-drug addiction messages in their music. The Paranoid album is my favorite and I often listened to it entirely. Sabotage also has some great tunes!!
Spot on, War Pigs is a metal masterpiece. I have other suggestions, requests, please :) Led Zeppelin - Kashmir- (Live from Celebration Day) Steve Wonder- Superstition- (Live)
I'd like to think it actually says "ash is weather, bodies burning" instead of "ashes where the bodies burning". It conjures up images of nuclear fallout and total destruction as raining ashes become the new weather.
The outro for this great song, with the sad guitar, always makes me sad and thinking about all the lives unnecessarily destroyed by the warmongering politicians who thrive on sending people to war to die in battle. So many millions over the years. What a total waste. Hopefully, these evil people get theirs in the end.
Perhaps some day you both might want to listen to the Black Sabbath song called "Black Sabbath". It's a bit creepy but the guitar sound is quite unique near the end.
I would like to see you guys do a reaction to the song Save your love by Jefferson Starship. The lyrics are fantastic, and the guitar work is great. Good solos on the guitar.
All the anti-war sentiment is great and has really inspired some amazing music but that's about it. Bombs are still dropping, the poor and destitute are still fighting and killing and dying in the wars of the rich and powerful.
Time to get serious? Yet? 50 years later? Oh well no one else is either. Just hold on and wait right? What,? Does that even sound sincere. Who does that serve?
I think you all are doing more good for people on the whole planet than all the politicians put together. We, (ALL PEOPLE), have far more things in common than different. Music, food, dancing are loved by all. Here is a novel thought.....instead of the wars we fight with weapons, how about we have cooking wars, dancing wars, music wars? Nobody dies, well possibly from to much hot sauce on the chicken. We could have a beautiful time together and learn about different culltures with food, music, dancing! Ahhh...but for now a dream. Global warming is real. Caused by politicions speaking a bunch of hot air. Have a great and wonderful day and life. Issa......... My nickname

Greatest anti war song ever. Great reaction
No matter what culture .... a good guitar makes people make the Stink Face!
Yep. I guess that is true. If they have any taste. You know.
This is awesome. Thank you again. I have been playing in a Black Sabbath tribute band for over 20 years and it makes me happy to see you guys enjoying the hell out of this.

Brilliant analysis and comments once again guys, always a pleasure to hear your thoughts on such classics as this 🤘

A bateria e a guitarra são extraordinárias!
Saudações do Brazil. 🇧🇷🇮🇳
One of the pioneers of Heavy metal . Couldn't imagine how people reacted back then .
The thing I love about this song is that it is so timely and can be played in any generation and the lyrics reign true.
An awesome masterpiece⛰️ incredible heavy metal composition from 1970 with an amazing narrative🤹 Great reaction Enoma 🎑
The old school Black Sabbath of 70's...Ozzy Osbourne-Tony Iommi-Geezer Butler-Bill Ward...perfect musicians that began the heavy metal genre
Besides the obvious profound lyrics of Geezer, this song has always stood out to me as Bill Wards shining moment in Sabbath. His swing, groove, and feel on the drums in this song are all things to behold.
My favorite Black Sabbath tune. Of course I'm a sucker for great guitar work and bluesy riffs married to thought provoking lyrics.

The intro always paints imagery in my head of 1970s era war films like apocalypse now and full metal jacket
Thank You !! One of my all-time favorites !

Glad to see you two getting into the music. Love you reactions and channel
Majestic is definitely the word.
very intense song . love black sabbath . also ozzy and ronny as solo singers
I love this song and I play drums and this is ma jam and when I play this song I play it as it is and Enoma you ROCK :)
I play guitar and I love to jam over this, sabbath, while being heavy, is often times so damn incredibly funky!

Something this good only comes once in a lifetime.

You might have already known but a fun fact - The guitarist Toni Iommi has two of his fingertips removed in an accident
....and hence, the birth of Heavy Metal.
the horrors of war as told by black sabbath so true
Spot on, War Pigs is a metal masterpiece.
I have other suggestions, requests, please :)

Electric Funeral is good too. Song about apocalypse.
I just want to say I like these two they give great reactions,

black sabbath over and over

The Heavy Metal's fathers!
Do Zeppelin LIVE! You will love them! British rock...nothing better! I saw Sabbath live...it was awesome!
Some Dio Sabbath to consider "Shadow of the Wind" and "Atom and Evil" two lesser known songs but two of the best
...and on the eighth day, God created Black Sabbath!
Time to get serious? Yet? 50 years later? Oh well no one else is either. Just hold on and wait right? What,? Does that even sound sincere. Who does that serve?
