Very impressive! I have not heard of 4943 rod. I wonder if it is the more common 4043 material? Why do you prefer this rod over 1100 (pure aluminum)?
Hi Ron, A friend told me about it, it wets easier and lays down very nice. It was new to me I tried it and adopted it

Hi Wray, what model is this aluminum plate? 3003? I can’t buy 4943 welding wire in my country. What kind of welding wire can I use instead? Is it 4043 or 1100? I want to make an aluminum fuel tank for motorcycles. Your answer is very helpful to me. Thank you very much.
