my first multifandom video! i've wanted to make one for a while and i figured i should make one for movies (since, when i tried to edit one movie for a video, it felt dull and lacked oomph.)
for those who are interested in watching the five movies that i used in this edit, here's my thoughts on them:
1. ano ko no toriko - it was pretty cliche and normal, but i really liked the chemistry of araki yuko and yoshizawa ryo! it follows the story of 3 childhood friends who dreamed of acting in one movie together. i suggest watching this to those who like live action shoujo manga stories.
2. my tomorrow, your yesterday - this one was really confusing at first, but once you get to understand how the two parallel universes work, you'll be sad at this rendition of "star-crossed lovers". it was pretty sad to think that in only 30 days, you'll get to experience a once-in-a-lifetime love with someone. but the saddest part is that you don't even get to share the feeling together with each other due to your partner growing younger and younger as 30 days go by.
3. our meal for tomorrow - this was actually the movie that i tried to edit and failed due to it being too bland. it's about the love of two opposite people and how they overcome the challenges that they face along the way. this whole movie inspired me to compile a bunch of other similar japanese movies and make a multifandom, which i'm really proud of.
4. your eyes tell - the second japanese movie i watched. what can i say, it lives up to its name. i watched this around july to august, and it carries a bunch of good and sad memories for me. nonetheless, if you haven't seen it, please try it out! it's really, really good.
5. perfect world - my very first japanese movie. i watched it immediately after kikazaru koi and i have to say, this is a much watch! perfect world has the prettiest cinematography and it was really enlightening too. it gave off this healing vibe due to the bright colors and the serene feel of the overall movie, and i highly suggest it :3

I interpret this edit to be the portrayal of different couples and how they overcome all the challenges they face together, just like in Perfect World, Your Eyes Tell, Our Meal for Tomorrow, and Tomorrow I Will Date Yesterday's You. I think that's the message lynne wants to convey in this edit. Such a beautiful video as always! I'm proud of you. ❤
My tomorrow, your yesterday broke my heart! So beautiful but so sad. I have yet to watch the other movies. I can imagine they’re all just as good.
