I mean a lot of those public lots have those tickets with the disclaimers on the back where they take no liability. So this outcomes doesn't surprise me.
Since all the ones I’ve been in do have the disclaimer, I would assume all of them are like that. I think that lady had the stub that stated it but decided to give suing the guy a try. Not cool.
Defendant said *”Not today Satan”!* 😂 The plaintiff knows good and well that she received the other half of that ticket. She just assumed that the defendant wouldn’t come prepared with that simple rebuttal.
Yea it would be different if they valid their car and the parking lot attendant had access to drive it around and something happened. But that's one of those parking lots where the customer parks and retrieves their own vehicle.
The plaintiff was funny saying, "really a seagull 😂😂😂" I don't see her trying to come up with anything just trying to blame the first person she could lol
I'M FROM CANADA & YOU WOULD NEVER SEE PEOPLE SUE , OVER EVERY LITTLE THING THAT BOTHERS THEM !!! THEY ALSO WOULDN'T GET THE LARGE AMOUNTS I SEE , GIVEN IN THE U.S.A. A VERY LARGE NUMBER OF THESE CASES COULD HAVE BEEN SETTLED , OUT OF COURT & LEAVE COURTS ROOM FOR IMPORTANT ONES . JUDGE MILLIAN YOU ROCK !!! ❤🎉❤
Plaintiff is sketchy for withholding the portion of the ticket that had the disclaimer. *Defendant did his homework! The seagull theory makes a great deal of sense. I like it!!*
You pay $5 and think your car is going to be monitored? She totally lied about not getting the other half of the ticket with the disclaimer. Judge M called her lying ass out.
Imagine anyone owning a parking lot if they claimed responsibility for damage- anyone who has a crack, a scratch, a flat, etc. would park there and expect the lot to pay for repair. Or people would claim their brand new iPhone was stolen 3x a day. The fact that she thought there was anyway she was going to win this is mind blowing.
Here's how this went. Plaintiff: I am going to sue the hell out of him, and he will pay for this. Husband: Honey he is not responsible. Plaintiff: Your ass is coming to court, period Mister. Husband: Right behind you dear.
🤔Legend has it that the defendant has learned a valuable lesson from this experience and has since posted a warning sign with THAT picture along with “PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK! SEAGULLS DROP MUSSELS ON WINDSHIELDS!”
If she had a vehicle that had an alarm that would go off if something hit it, then someone would have heard it. I think it's more likely that something happened when the alarm wasn't engaged, and the damage spread.
Some people seem to believe that every unfortunate thing that happens to them is someone else's responsibility to fix. Grow up. You parked your car in a parking lot and your windshield got broken. Get over it.
Audience- we are seeing a Pre-Karen in all her glory. Note the sarcasm in her voice at the end saying, "Really? A seagull?" and the eye rolling- this is natural for the species to assign blame and make others suffer for their injustices. The next phase of life for this Karen is to have her hair fashioned at Great Clips with a $5.99 coupon, then suing the business for messing up her bangs.
If hell can cause a crack in the windshield then wouldn't a hard shell of a clam which is enormously larger than a single hail ball and harder possibly crack a windshield? Of course SMH
That's not totally true. The lot could be help responsible if the plaintiff can prove gross negligence. For example, the owner goes up to the attendant and fires him and the attendant gets mad and takes the owners phone and throws it and it cracked the windshield, they would definitely be help responsible. NOTHING is 100%. By the way - that's my theory of what happened. 😁 She just didn't have proof of my theory.
yes cars get damaged no matter where you park them it makes no sense to blame the parking lot owner, try that at walmart, or a city street this has no merit
Yeah lady defendant has a windshield company so he goes around smashing windows on his pay to park lot to get business for his windshield repair shop ?
The Jewish blah blah told me everything i needed to know. They done looked at that woman and went straight racist. 💯 she did deserve to loose. But all that side talk in the hallway wtf your religion and country gotta do with a TV
A theory not only explains known facts; it also allows scientists to make predictions of what they should observe if a theory is true. Scientific theories are testable. New evidence should be compatible with a theory. If it isn't, the theory is refined or rejected. The longer the central elements of a theory hold-the more observations it predicts, the more tests it passes, the more facts it explains-the stronger the theory.
The thing with the warning on the ticket is that I don't get to see it until AFTER I have paid? There should be signs stating the policy BEFORE I decide to give them my money.
Wtf are you talking about?lmao! Of course nobody is responsible for your damn car for parking at any parking spot. Who the hell do you want to be responsible for when you park at a public street? Do you think that the county has to pay for your damage? Of course not.
Sometimes I don’t understand how cities/judges allow those laws, I won’t say in this case, how can you pay someone to watch your car and they are not responsible for any damages? What if another car hit them in the garage are they not responsible too? What about negligence? Not responsible too???? When a client has the right for their properties?
She didn't pay for someone to watch her car. She paid to leave her car on a piece of someone's land. The attendant is there to protect the owner's interests, not the customer.
Have you been to a Beach ever, nothing is free these days. If someone parks in your yard can they hold you responsible if a Seagull drops a crack pipe on the windshield.
@@not_thedroids871oh no. Ms Birdwell has had problems with birds (peacocks). I just think that it’s a long shot to assume that a seagull dropped something on her windshield. And, in a lot with a parking attendant.

Some people always want someone else to pay for their misfortunes. Sorry lady. Case dismissed. NEXT
Your an idiott HE WAS RESPONSIBLE
The defendant is articulate and respectful. Good for him!
Dude brought all the science.....
Just because something unfortunate happens doesn’t mean someone else has to pay 🙄
Plaintiff strikes me as someone who would sue the driver of a vehicle ahead of her on the freeway that throws up a rock that cracks her windshield.
They had a case like that on the show a while back and the guy actually had to pay
The plaintiff probably tore off the disclaimer.
Interesting that part was "missing" from the ticket she gave the judge.....
She definitely did 😂
I like the seagull theory 😂😂😂 Love the defendant ❤🏖️ Safelite repair 🎶 Safelite replace
This is why I have comprehensive coverage 😅
And she thinks a shell won't cause that but thinks someone's arm will? 😅

The plaintiff knows good and well that she received the other half of that ticket. She just assumed that the defendant wouldn’t come prepared with that simple rebuttal.
wholesome guy lol
Regardless, the defendant was in the right the whole time because of the liability ticket.
Why would anyone think that the parking lot owner was liable for what happens to your car? Unless they guarantee the car’s safety, you’re out of luck!
Yea it would be different if they valid their car and the parking lot attendant had access to drive it around and something happened. But that's one of those parking lots where the customer parks and retrieves their own vehicle.

Most of those parking lots exclude themselves from liability. Good try, but call your insurance.
