Shamakhi Highlights - Xplore Azerbaijan S1E19

Experience Shamakhi with Zaur from Trails of Eurasia TV. A few different climate zones will be met along the road to Shamakhi. Shamakhi is an ancient city of Azerbaijan. It started in the 5th century BC and from the 9th to 16th centuries it was the capital of Shirvan Empire, a residence of Shirvan Dynasty, it is by right considered one of the most beautiful cities of the Orient. In the mid-18th century, it used to be the center of Shamakhi Khanate. We visited Astrophysical Observatory during day time and definitely have to come back during the clear sky and sunset hours in order to see unique stars and planets. Following Shirvan Wines site we had an enjoyable walk around the vineyard and tasty lunch accompanied with local dushbere soup. To have a simple glass of tea in the forest is another experience you have to try. We stayed in Shamakhi region until sunset. Shamakhi is indeed the place with its unique ambiance.

Не раз ходил от Шемахи до Пиркули и далее в горы маунтиг, там ночевали. Кировка Нагархана самое красивое место где лес речка. Но только когда солнце лето. В пасмурную погоду тоска и грусть.
