Derek Jeter was pretty much a role model for all the players in the mlb. He's a 5 times world series champion, played in 14 all stars, 5 golden glove awards as a shortstop, 5 sliver slugger awards(might be wrong about this), 2 hank aaron awards and etc.. He helped his team win the 96, 98, 99, 2000, 2009 world series. He eventually became the Captain for the yankees around 2003 to present. His team mates really did admire him and because of that, he is known as the Captain.
Personally for me, I don't see Kobe Bryant's leadership nearly as great as his. He may still be a great leader, but ultimately in the end, I find Derek Jeter as one of a kind.
      -Dodgers fan here.

Isn't it ironic that Jeter's last MLB game is in Boston?
