- Welcome to the Madden 24 Franchise Rebuild with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Raiders are a team that's struggled for decades. Many have tried to fix this once great franchise but the Raiders have hired (and fired) 9 head coaches, have had 13 10+ loss seasons, all since their last playoff win in the 2002 AFC Championship Game.
There is a lot of dust in the trophy case as the Raiders last won a Super Bowl 40+ years ago. No team should rebuild as long as they've had to. Now I'm looking take them over to restore this Franchise to its' former glory.

It's why Rivers shouldn't be in the Hall Of Fame IMO. The QB he replaced in San Diego turned out to be much better, and two other QBs in his draft class won four titles between them while the best Rivers could do is get to one AFC title game, which is half the number Dan Fouts did with a far worse D. Unlike Marino he doesn't have historically great numbers (for his time) to offset that.
Can't wait for this one. The coaching situation really has made an interesting turn of events. Can't wait for the much more in-depth coaching situations coming for the new college game as well. Thanks for the uploads, as always, Cane. You rock, man.

Rashod Bateman has become my MVP of this series. It has been impressive what he has been able to do on this team.
Happy fourth Cane I really like how you’ve decided to do the franchise after being fired we get to see players careers play out quickly without really missing how exactly their career plays out
I do like this concept of a series. More of a coaching advisory role more so than the actual coach or owner...

The question with Stockton will always remain whether he can play 4 playoff games in a row without selfdestructing
i can see the series stalling with no return to the Superbowl, sparking a total rebuild and bringing back the coach with the best resume. The guy who actually got the Raiders 60 minutes of football away from a championship.

I’m one of the few it looks like. Love the content man, even as it turned to a fast sim. As a raiders fan this series has given me heartache, but love it at the same time. We can never find that QB, dude doesn’t have that IT factor in him like the elites do.
This long rebuild has been awesome. Love the year a video format, but I do miss you making the decisions. Maybe we could do one or two more seasons in this format but with Cane at the helm?
Please take back control... I think it's a little boring essentially playing second fiddle to literally everything.

This is unfamiliar territory for any Cane series whatsoever, so I can't find too much fault in trying to get a feel for the situation. In any case, I imagine Coach Perkins won't be left to his own devices for too much longer: 1-and-a-half more seasons at the ABSOLUTE max, methinks.
@@nicholasbuffone175 of course, I absolutely do not blame Cane whatsoever. I absolutely love any of his series, I was just expressing my thoughts about this episode. I’d actually wish for this series to go even longer, but I know NCAA 25 is coming out
Even if it’s with little things like not leaving so much wasted cap space. A team with a franchise QB wouldn’t be wasting it like that. I don’t mind Cane not taking full control, but something like that ruined a bit of immersion for me.

I was almost impressed with how it went
Here's an idea for a Madden feature
If a player suffers a major injury they have a chance of suffering severe ratings decline, and when they return their ratings are hidden for a set number of snaps just like with rookies.
So if you QB has a season ending knee injury you have to weigh that as a risk that he might not be the same player next year and consider moving on from him or signing / drafting their replacement.
Honna need to see the id for faulkner.....looks like ab is trying to sneak his way back onto the raiders....
I hated seeing Jacobs retire, he was the soul of that offense.
Can you retake control or take over a divison opponent, this is just a sim without any imput and its kind of boring.

I know this was meant to be a Raiders rebuild, but did you ever think of continuing the coach's career at another team...maybe an Oakland rival? Not a suggestion...just asking if the thought ever came up.
I also think the main reason the team played so badly the year you got fired was because you quick dimmed more of the games versus long simming. I feel like the team never got on a roll, long simming before you went to quick sim the games.
Stockton is giving more Rivers vibes instead of Rodgers. He just can't seem to win those big games
I had forgotten about losing the playoff game to Tua. That's the ultimate humiliation. We're talking instant retirement in shame here.

I'm sorry this went from a rebuild into just watching the cpu make the moves? I get the coach got fired but why not make a new coach and continue the rebuild. Otherwise just end it.

I think the series might be dead. Without taking control, this isnt much to watch. You got the cardinals series and NCAA is coming out soon. Might be time to leave this one behind.
Your NFL team rebuilds are my favorite series across all of YT! But that being said, at this point I feel like you don't care about this one anymore. Your heart isn't in it, feels like you don't even want to do it and just somehow want it over with. So, while it hurts, I think you should take this one out back BUT I can't wait for the next one and I hope you get the passion back for this type of series in the future

I'd kill this series off. Especially with NCAA coming out. You will have another series. And a high percentage of us will have less time to watch for the same reason.
The most painful thing for me in this series is the fact that the Broncos have refused to find a quarterback this entire time. The Raiders losing makes me happy though, lol.
Usually, when the chat starts turning against Cane's team, it's because they've been doing so well it's become predictable. Here? Nope, everyone just actively loathes the suckers and their frontman under center. O, how far we've fallen.
I wish I could find that same catharsis, but in all honesty, it's just depressing me. That whole run up to the Super Bowl felt so damn vindicating after the episodes upon episodes of doomsaying, and everything since then has gone Wayne's World levels of farcically catastrophic. Where're the Scooby Doo and Mega-Happy endings when you need 'em, man?
@@nicholasbuffone175 I was never for Cane's team in this particular series. This is the only one like that for me. If these Raiders are the only team to fail completely since I started watching Cane then that would be perfect.
