- Fran and Maxwell are on their honeymoon! Things don't go as planned!
From Season 6 Episode 1, 'The Honeymoon's Overboard'. Fran and Maxwell fall off a yacht and spend a frustrating honeymoon on a deserted island. Maxwell gets bitten and becomes ill, but Fran manages to save him. Back at home, C.C. begins to feel guilty about wishing Fran and Maxwell harm, and decides to rent a chopper to go and search for them.

@@PHSDM104 but this episode is still not based on Swept Away made by Guy Ritchie and Madonna as the movie was made after this particular episode. That's the issue here. You can't say..."This episode is based on movie by Guy Ritchie" if that movie was not even made yet. If that person said that this episode is based on Italian movie from 1974 I wouldn't say a word as it's true but certainly not based on a movie which wasn't even made yet.

Charles Shaughnessy had a great body under all those suits. It was very evident in the episode where Max had a mid-life crisis and started wearing form-fitting shirts and tight jeans.

It feels like something may happen, they're releasing things pretty often and not all at once. There was talk of a reboot, spinoff, etc., but I'd be surprised and disappointed if it's nothing and launched a new channel and they're randomly publishing snippets after all of these years.

Yeah they marry them off and then they come up with some dumb spin-off happily divorced giant block you should have just kept going with the story everybody liked Maxwell friend Cece and miles those are the people everybody was watching the show for and you cut them all loose and came up with something else that's what yeah I've never watched the the new one except for one episode and that was enough for me she'd have going with this story
Happily divorced is NOT a continuation of the Nanny, it’s a completely different show
How was that a spin off? Totally different show.
After the marriage she turned into a typical boring woman, who's only goal in life is to get pregnant and have kids.
I think she was going that way in seasons 4 and 5...she was obsessed with getting married, so she could have kids. Everyone makes fun of CC because CC had even less chance with Max than Fran had...but CC seems to me really less needy than Fran. CC has more to her life - she succeeds professionally - even if she is unhappy about her personal life. I do agree that Fran, after the first season or 2, lost the qualities that made her Maria-von-Trapp-like, and "what the doctor prescribed." Early on she had some spunk and got good results by doing things her way, and kept Max off-balance...around the time he took back telling her he loved her she starting following him around whining and begging for attention. Very desperate and insecure (about impressing everyone, not just Max.) And always getting into scrapes with money or business that either led to Max having to bail her out or Max losing money or business. CC was savvy with business.
That show literally started in a bridal shop with frans fiance breaking up with her. She always wanted to get married and have children.

That's how the Show started with her fired from the Bridal Shop by the Guy she was hoping would Marry her. This was accepted by Fans all over and kept the Ratings up and high level of interest in the Show. Her mom was always throwing hints Or flat out ask when they were gonna hook up and even asked Mr Sheffield why won't he marry her daughter.
