This concert in Argentina was towards the very end - like the 82nd or 83 rd show. I've attended every Madonna concert going back to Blonde Ambition in 1990 (with the exception of The Girlie Show) to her most recent Celebration Tour in early 2024. Each concert was an incredible, at times spiritual, experience. This particular performance was transcendent for me. Can't wait for you to react to her incredible (and mega controversial) performance of Like a Virgin the Blond Ambition Tour 1990. I so enjoy your Madonna reactions. Thank you
I was at the concert in Mexico in 2008, believe me it is an unforgettable experience, the show singing "Like a prayer" was the best of the entire concert. Everything was spectacular, dancers, screens, lights.

She has consistently taken Catholic imagery/themes with her sexual persona and sexuality. The Catholic mystic and saint Teresa de Avila wrote an entire theological treatise about the sexual ecstasy and pleasure that she enjoyed during her mystical experiences. One of the most famous Italian sculptures during the Renaissance is the "Ecstasy of Saint Teresa" by Bernini that is now housed in Rome at Santa Maria la Majore. Avila is the only female mystic recognized by the Catholic church. Avila and her story/theology is one of the handful of historical female figures that Madonna elevates and draws from.
