Don't normally get away from your Florida stuff. (I'm stuck in 2015!) But this was nice watching. I love all the fine dining and glitz and glamor. We didn't know how well we had it when we could mingle. You're the best, I've tried to watch other travelers but they can't hold a candle to Traveling Robert! :)

Nice little 5th Wheel camper. We've had a 1985 7' wide 19.5' long 5th Wheel camper about 2,000 lbs till 2003. Our favorite camper to date.

THANK YOU Robert. We loved it and my wife was even shopping flights to see if we could go yet this month. THANK YOU for your blunt honesty too. Wish more would do that, not just cover the good, but the bad too. My most prized concerts and times with musicians did not cost me any money, just a few minutes. Had an opening band (Wilkerson's)member for Alabama ask us if she could hold our baby daughter. They were so much better than Alabama was that year, but Kenworth paid for that concert. As a kid Johnny and June Cash stayed at a motel my mom worked at since he was not feeling well and did not want to stay on his bus. But Johnny and June treated my brother and I great as did their people. Yet now you are asked to pay dearly and do not get much for your money. Best to save the money and support your local bands.

We love Vegas!!! Got married there going on 17 years ago! I also had the fried chicken benedict at Hash House a Go-Go, gotta love that branch of rosemary they use as a toothpick! We did the open bar car at night, it was wonderful, we managed to slam four drinks during that half hour ride. Had to make it worth our while! Michael Jackson ONE is the best show in Vegas (IMHO). It's at the Mandalay Bay.

Wish we knew you were coming! We are here in our homebase. Would have taken you out Saturday! The Plaza is where Ray started his poker career (23 1/2 yrs) before RV'ing. The Plaza is also the site of the old train station where Vegas started in 1905. The name of the Irish bar at the Linq is O'Shea's (O-Shays) and you missed pointing out Tim (yes, that's his real name) the Leprechaun who is the mascot. You have him on your footage if you go back and look! The Statue of David is in the old part of Caesar's.
Oh, we didn't know, and this was an impromptu trip for us too.
Thank you Robert for sharing your Las Vegas experience. Though I agree with some of your commenters. I worked too hard for my money to squander it away in "Sin City". (It's named that for a reason.:-)) I have nothing against gambling, people spend their money on worse, it's just not my cup of tea. For me, Las Vegas is a cheap flight, then head out to three of the most beautiful National Parks in the country! Robert, from one musician to another, I find it very difficult for me to enjoy concerts. I'm waiting for the mistakes, out of tune notes, thinking how much better it could have been, or like you, remembering how it used to be. There are a lot of "has been" headliners out there. Tickets are outrageously expensive! Can't wait for your next vid! Ted

Much cheaper and saves a lot of time to see Vegas thru Roberts videos rather than going there :-) Thank you Robert for saving us time and money. Yes that silver building at (11:42) looks like the one in Dusseldorf...but also looks like the Jimmy Hendrix EMP museum in Seattle...you know the one which is directly across the street from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation building. and at (27:24) the guy named 'Chilully' made so much different glass by hand they fill an entire park in Seattle (directly at the bottom of Seattle Space Needle) the whole building is full and also the 'flowers' and 'garden' on the property are completely of his hand made glass too. I like dancing waters like that between (29:00 and 30:00)...there is a smaller type in Orlando at Holy Land Experience, also another in Jacksonville FL at 'Friendship park' which is across the bridge from The Landings Mall. Funny at the couple minutes of video, I hear you say we going to take a Taxi instead of Uber and I see the video of all buildings...but then I notice you getting higher up and I think you are driving highway ramp, but you keep going up up up and I notice it is plane! :-D ha! It fooled me for a little bit thinking you were still inside car.
Can't wait to visit Seattle, and I have been to that fountain in Jacksonville, it is just a little smaller... and though the magic of editing, most of that night footage was actually taken the next day, when we rented a car, and it was also the day we left, but it seemed like a fitting end to the video. Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it.

Vegas has changed maybe too much these days. I love the place and know what I want to do there to always have fun having been many times. Chewbacca should have been told to shut up during the Fountain show at Bellagio. Ha ha.

Hey, the weekend is always more expensive. The strip is the most expensive area. I found downtown to be cheaper, and to be honest, more fun

Ever heard of the heart attack grill? That place is insane. Their waitresses are dressed like nurses. They serve the most unhealthy food including an 8 patty burger and if you don't finish your meal they will spank you like your the bad boy at school.

gy paints an unrealistic picture of downtown vegas; sound quality is NOT good, with 3 bands playing at the same time within earshot of each other.......
Not true. Bands are loud enough and stages are at different angles so that you can not hear the other band two blocks away. Sound quality way above average for an otherwise noisy street.
