Personally feel MG bodies are a lot more industrial in appearance.Price to performance/ comfort ratio is really good . This isn't a replacement for automatic, rear engine Volvo , Scania , Mercedes buses but a slight upgrade from usual sleepers of TATA , Leyland . Even though MG provides similar body for Leyland as well . Bharat Benz is actually enhancing the market by providing incremental upgrade over existing leyland & tata while maintaining the price hike to a minimum. This would spur competition & eventually benefit the consumers .Though TATA & Leyland have experimented in the past but market wasn't quite ready , BB is driving that change in the market . I am pretty sure this wouldn't please the likes of most , since the design is a far cry from SMK zedon , vega models .
Front elevation good, but side and back look boxy, not cute and sexy like Volvo. Thre could have beeen a small separator in the sleeper model at the head part of the bed.

You are right but rear engine buses are way too expensive to purchase & maintain making them less profitable to fit into the shoes of front engine buses . But Bharat Benz is providing a nice bridge b/w both with slight upgrade of comfort , aesthetics , performance with minimum price hike . Upgrade to Leyland & Tata but below scania & volvo . I think that's a good niche to have in the market for consumers . Earlier we had only Leyland /Tata & Volvo/ Scania on extreme ends of the spectrum. They are not directly competing with Leyland or Tata at their game but carving a niche for themselves.

I think Leyland have released a rear engine model in the past but have failed due to technical issues & lack of customer base . I think consumers won't be shelling too much money on a leyland/ BB when they can get a volvo or scania for slightly more .
luxury is another level of engineering like in a caravan for celebrities, a true luxury bus will cost around 3 to 4 crores.these are just commercial buses that's all ,these kind of buses have been there in foreign countries since 1994 but in India it came in 2008
