I lived in Hull for over 30 years and I go back to Hull twice a year for a week to see my family, who live in Anlaby, we stay in the Gilson Hotel . its always good to come back to Hull every year.
@@Kris_1708 well i do come across a lot of complaints but they are stupid complaints like its too noisy etc when its in the middle of a city. anyway we always enjoy it there, at least its better than Hotel Camponile up the road.

Wow, I left Hull 18 year ago, hardly recognised some of this, especially the bridge going to the Marina. Another thing where are all the people, it used to be busy all the time.
I don't know why too, I live in Warwickshire but I am from Hull, me and the wife go back to Hull for a week twice a year for a week to see my family who live in Anlaby and we enjoy it.
