While it has been some years since the industry became actively involved in the teaching of what we used to call “Infection Control”, we have drifted heavily into Materials Regulatory Issues with the FDA thus leaving a void in teaching New Dental Technicians and Dental Assistants the basics on Universal Precaution, Bio-Hazards and Blood Bourne Pathogens.
This course is designed for the new person in dentistry without a formal education, to understand these basic principles and apply them in the Laboratory or the Clinic.
