I ADORE those glass cuticle pushers. I'm apparently too heavy handed with an e-file, so I rarely use mine anymore (poor Jade ☹️), I use the cuticle pushers all the time. I like your real time videos. I love this mani! Those decals are wonderful, I love her style too. And the glow! Spectacular! 🌚
@@MarlaKris same. I did the nail hub school to be able to purchase light elegance. I have a really top notch lamp etc. so I mix and match for sure. One of my good friends who is very educated in gel safety and gel chemistry just developed a HEMA allergy so I’m using it less often now a days.

Can you use peel off base coat on dipped nails after applying dip for a base natural color, then use peel base, then your dip powder color you like? so you can peel off just the top colored layers?

Question: recently I tried Kiara Sky dip liquids and by the time I could dip my finger it was half dry and I legit didn’t waste any time between application and dipping. Thoughts? 💭 Have you tried Kiara Sky dip liquids? I’m thinking I need Azure. Is it a medium-slow drying time? In your real time application it seems to work perfectly. Is there an ideal room temp, does it depend on the warmth or coolest of your hands/nails? Etc. Thank you my cackrtite Weirdo 😂
No way I would survive in WI. I’d be a marlacicle 😂 Yeah I had the same experience with KS. It’s a super fast dry. The azure is definitely more a medium dry. That’s why I like showing real time - you see how long it takes me to apply the base and then dip. Zero issues at all!! I’d say my living room is about 72-74° on average if that helps. The warmer the room, the faster things tend to dry.
I’ve used Kiara Sky. Did you apply the base to all of your fingers first then go back and dip all of your fingers? My process was to apply that base and dip immediately then clean cuticle and side walls before doing the next nail. Now, I used the product back in Mar/Apr. so their liquids could have changed. I’m from Milwaukee WI! (Now living in MN). Small world…”Marlacicle” …😂😂😂
I finally did gel nails and they did not last me longer than a week. Any suggestions? I watch all of your tutorials and I have no clue what I did wrong?
I just bought my first set of dip powders and have done it once at home and I rgret it terribly. I did it on the balcony and wearing a face mask, and yet due to the extremely fine size of the particles, it is impossible to not breathe a ton of plastic, and ending up having it in your lungs for the rest of your life. And how creepy it is that the exposure to volatiles irritants is so acute that you can develop symptoms like a flu right away and have them for days... Smoking is said to kill you, and yet it takes years before you develop a cough from it, imagine to damage that these powders and volatile elements from the liquids do, and yet the nail market barely mentions these things... Not to mention the huge environmental pollution of microplastics, than we then end up eating, breathing and so on... Very scary, I regret I tried it and definitely will not be doing it ever again

Great job! Love the actual time tutorials! Are the Azure liquids low odor/sensitive? The brush appears rather small and I personally like that.
They’re not marketed as low odor, and I don’t usually get dip flu, but I don’t find them strong at all!

I’ve found that can happen if there are any oils on the nail before applying the gel.
