This was a great video!! The way you teach the area calculation parts for the moment diagram is so easy to understand, my teacher was using integration and I could barely understand it hahaha
when calculating the area of center triangle, the base is not the length divided by 2. You have to divide the left (60) by the kips/ft value to get the base. 60/4 is 15.
You explained the logic really well, using it I was able to mentally complete the BM diagram. I’ll look for other examples to complete BM in my head without writing. Using similar area method to get the points on y axis (integration) Can u also do few examples on deflection diagrams? Thank u
Hey bro, love the video! I do kind of a similar thing as you on RUclips and I was wondering if you ever have had any trouble with Copyright issues from using textbook problems. Thanks!
Hello Chris, at the minute mark 3:20 I did not know that the moment was ccw for sure. However, I have to make an assumption and I will always chose the CCW as positive since its the 'most' used positive direction, and its also similar to the angle/degree direction. Now, if my answer at the end gives a negative that just means my initial assumption was wrong, which it is okay to have negative values :)
I do not posses the answers for all the chapter 7. However, I do have around 10 videos on this chapter in the following playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLQ5rSSwLAoxJm_2U85uk6z0rcrwtE66pl I hope this helps :)
Hello, I just wanted to mention that it is really unnecessary to show your yourself while you are explaining examples. It makes the screen smaller and I have to zoom in, but even though I cannot really see the numbers very well there would be much clearer if you could just focus on the content.!!!

I agree with you for simple loading shapes like squares or triangles integrals are way too complicated. Keep it up!!
It was a really great explanation, I had a tough time understanding this problem by myself as I missed this class, thanks :)
Hey, glad to help :)
Thanks for helping me study for my Statics final, which is tomorrow!
You are welcome, I hope you did well on your exam :)

nice video , great explain by area, thanks alot!
Really appreciate all the help you love... thanks for saving us✨
Thanks for the comment!! It is good that the videos are helping you :)
dude I love your videos so much! they are literally a live safer and you explain it really good :)
Glad to hear the videos help you!
God bless you, you explained it greatly! Thank you so much!!!
I love this. Thanks!
you are a godsend
Super helpful and much appreciated
Glad it was helpful!
Hello sir and thanks for the video. Just little confused. when finding Mb why isn’t both 20kip are negative?
Nice problem thank you
Happy to help!
thanks, u'are king👑
Thanks so much for the explanation!
You’re welcome!!

Salamat, Sir♡
You are welcome :)
Hi I have a question here ,at the end of the moment and shear force diagrams ,moment and shear force always become zero right?
Thank u do muchhhh ❤
You are welcome 🍎
what if I don't know the base of my triangle because I didn't draw my diagrams to scale/correctly
whats the vmax sir, is it -60 or +60?😅 i got confused
Thanks so much, what's the name of the program or app note you're using?
I use an app called Notability.
what is the value of X when the shear is zero?
How did you know the Moment at B was counter clockwise? 3:20
