The government had already said not to travel abroad in the pandemic unless extreme measures.
In islam Prophet Mohammad pbuh already said not to leave your place or land in a pandemic.
If people don't listen and make fake excuses to go and enjoy themselves with furlough money or other government grant money then they should not complain coming back.
Many people have different reasons to travel. Like im in pakistan from 1.5 years on ILR, didn't travel due to pandemic now my ilr will expire and home office isn't giving any extension because people with ilr are allowed to enter the uk and quarantine. So my only option is to travel and hotel quarantine otherwise ill loose my ilr. Before judging u should know that nobody spends a fortune on hotel quarantine unless its their last option. I agree travelling for leisure shouldn't be done in such times but in situations like mine their is no other option. The amount they are charging is absurb so they can atleast provide food to us.
Agreed with tamasha, when some people decided to travel back even knowing they have to quarantine but then complain about the whole thing or complain about having to pay a fortune. I mean what is the point of all that. When countries are being listed on red-list, they didn't just happen with a click of a finger. It's been announced in advance and again when you decided to come back knowing its pretty much no freedom but then tried to complain oh my "holiday" has been ruined or the experience is like hell... it was never gonna be nice in the first place since its to qurantine. So why decided to do something and complain at the same time

You could be travelling due to any reasons but the point is, qurantining is never gonna be a good experience to begin with or people think its just like a normal holiday or something? Providing food that is not to someone else's liking doesn't mean they haven't been provided food. It might not be the ideal food but again during qurantine, it should be expected the experience would not be any nicer. For this lady in the video to complain thinking like as she was on holiday is a bit much

This is not true. I came to this hotel on 7th May till 18th May and alhamdullilah we had an amazing experience no issues with food at all and we were allowed out 3 times a day for a walk. They gave sahoor and iftari. We had an Asian menu option everyday for both lunch and dinner. We were 4 adults and 3 kids and we had 2 rooms and we were allowed to see our family we travelled with. No problem what so ever. The hotel staff dealt with any queries with no issue at all. Quite the opposite to what she’s said
This is so disgusting British nationals being treated like animals.These r British tax payers treated in poor conditions staff being rude what r people paying 1.700 pounds basic needs are not being met children r suffering wske up UK government step up.These r children grand children of people who came long long time back to work in devastating conditions to run the ul economy. And now there being treated like criminals.
I am currently in that hotel and it is really the opposite of how she is describing.
Yep. Not sure why her experience was so bad. We also stayed here and we had a really good experience here.

Sister e mail to ur consilor and mp’s about all these conditions and encourge other people aswell to make complaints
She should of ordered from outside I did and the hotel she is talking about is completely the opposite
I completely agree with her. We are in the same hotel and services and food quality is very bad. On complaining the hotel puts responsibility to CTM and the CTM Twitter account says hotels are entirely responsible for services and food. Food is uncooked , sandwiches are pathetic, portion is1/6 of bowl. Hotel has taken out all apps from tv and only free channels are provided, so no entertainment for kids . This is a big scandal to make money from common man who had to return from red list country.

I am working in this hotel but now they are giving better food.
Why only Pakistani upload video , not any other country people upload video for bad quarantine behaviour.
As we are following Government rule but they didnt provide quality of food .Even we have to paid £2400 ,it is totally west of money if we didnt get better food ,when we fill CTM form they given choice of Asian meal but here in hotel they do not provide it.

Sister can you tell me if any of these hotels have microwaves, my parents are due to come from Pakistan, so if I send them any food by the time they receive it , it may have gone cold , would they be able to reheat it there
