While most points do seem to have a grain of truth to them (some more than others), I feel most are quite exaggerated. Don't get me wrong, I love the my country and consider myself very lucky to be Dutch, but this video could use some moderation in my opinion. Yes, there are things the Netherlands does quite well, especially when compared to the rest of the world. But it isn't perfect, flawless or as exceptional as this video makes it out to be.
Well, we stil have traffic jams every day. And no, trains are late all the time. The cube houses in Rotterdam are a pain to live in because of the shape. The health care has been going hill down for yaers. The rest I can agree with.
Have you got a clue how inefficient and inaccessible health-care is elsewhere in the world? And why we support our less fortunate people in order to pay for it? Also why access to healthcare is regulated by family physicians that inevitaby lead to waiting lists for elected care?
@ Sure, healthcare is less inefficient and more expensive elsewhere in the world… Don’t get me wrong: we’re still kind of fortunate….. But as seen from a Dutch perspective healthcare gets more expensive every year, specially for citizens with low budgets. Also it sometimes looks less efficient over time…
edam and gouday only refer to the size of the cheese not the type of cheese which mostly goes from young to old and even overaged, and then with holes or without.
I agree our transport system is pretty good, but it's not the best in the world. E.G. the Swiss train network is way, way better ! Also education is not free (It is affordable though). But for actual FREE education you'd have to got to Scandinavia

Comparing the cost of a months worth of insuline shows your error. For the USA it's $35 for a 30 day supply, in the Netherlands it's free. And if you compare the premiums, in the USA they start at over $600 per month while in the Netherlands your premium will be around the €160 per month. Now try having open heart surgery in the USA and in the Netherlands.....
Education is not free. And bad... You talk about Dutch government spending a lot of money into education and then showing a picture of Geert Wilders of the far right PVV government who are planning to cutting funding education with one millard euro or even more.
