AM Bucksport Mobile Home

Just your typical abandoned mobile home slowly collapsing into a roadside eyesore when you travel between Blue Hill and Bucksport. In just a few years, the roof and floor has disintigrated!!

It rotted quickly because the area is shaded and the roof has gotten all moss on it..all mousture..mold
Happened in my Mom & Dads homd ..found after the passed
Mold...back yard with many fir trees near back of home.. too much shade...no sunlight to dry it...bushes to close to
home...cause grass to be wet
Homes which are abandoned last longsd when these elements are not present
It is a shame
Could have been a good renovation
No good now 😢

Was someone living there recently because it looks like there’s a lot of stuff left behind that looks to be in relatively good condition. Edit: Just saw the part where you found the 2017 calendar. That’s a good clue!

Maine has the highest percentage of elderly in the country, so it's a safe bet a retiree lived here until they passed away.
