D; I do feel very connected to this guy I dated for 6 months but I had to let him go because he was stagnant and I tried to help him in the best ways I knew how… but he wasn’t taking it seriously… so I put up boundaries and he didn’t take it very well and basically broke up with me even though we never made anything official. He turned it into an intense tower moment between us… he made a mountain out of a molehill and just added extra obstacles between us in order to reconcile. He catastrophized it and projected a lot of hurtful things on me. So I’m pretty sure he feels like an idiot for doing that because I know he knows I didn’t deserve that. It wasn’t an appropriate reaction whatsoever. The way he left things between us was just really unnecessary. I’ve been hoping he’ll open his eyes and be humble. But I don’t think he’s at that level of maturity to have the courage to take accountability and apologize and take it upon himself to open the lines of communication to reconcile. His ego seems to be more important to him at the moment :/
