- I have looked everywhere to find the english Beauty and the Beast credits. When I couldn't find it I made one of my own. So here it is only the credits.
I don't own anything of this, it's only fanmade!
This was something I always loved about the older Disney movies. During the credits they would gift us with a much deeper and more emotional version of the songs from their movies. It really is a shame that they don't do this anymore.
Agree :)

Absolutely true.

Is it weird that I get a REALLY strong feeling of nostalgia from this? I mean, not just the song, but the credits themselves. It's really weird that I'm nostalgic for a credits reel but... wow, I'm feeling it.
I'ts not weird. I feel pretty nostalgic about this myself, especially from this song.
Yep. These credits have such a strong significance with my childhood and fill me with a wave of nostalgia. Damn, those times were the best.
End credits beauty and the beast
No same. Mulan does the same where they take the key song of the film and do like a different rendition during the credits. It’s so good.
It's not weird to me, because the last time I saw those credits I was in a movie theatre where everyone left teary eyed at the film they just saw.
It's sad to hear the song ends with a sad tone with a dedication for Howard Ashman shows up at the end. Rip Howard Ashman, your legacy will never be forgotten. 💔
Happy almost 29th anniversary to the most beautiful Disney movie ever made Beauty and the Beast. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The dedication to Howard Ashman always guts me.

I know, man. I don't get it...
+ElectricMayhem87 well I do
Judging from the end credits of Tangled and Frozen, Disney seems to have turned away from emotional depth and geared towards upbeat, lively pop songs with comedic effect these days. How could this have happened? Why isn't Disney putting in any more soft romantic end credits songs?
Completely agree!
No clue. I guess as the years go by they feel the need to "change" it.
sad... :'( I miss beauty and the beast
I thought tangled and frozen were good movies (yes even frozen) but i have a special place for tangled in my heart
Nicholas Segura I know right... every Disney movie plus even not only Disney movies then, most animations had this songs for themes
"To our friend, Howard, who gave a mermaid her voice, and a beast his soul, we will be forever grateful." (Howard Ashman 1950-1991) This song is just beautiful in every way. Mr. Ashman would be very proud to hear this song he composed.
Not taking anything away from your comment, this song is gorgeous in every way and Ashman was a huge talent, but Howard Ashman was a lyricist, not a composer. Alan Menken wrote the instrumental accompaniment to the songs as well as the entire score to the movie. In other words, Ashman wrote the words, and Menken wrote the music.
And with the live-action remake now on its way, Mr. Ashman would be proud that his lyrics still live on for a new generation of young talents thanks to his music partner Alan Menken who is back as composer.

dedicated to howard ashman (1950-1991) jerry orbach (1935-2004) and frankin wells (1932-1994) to memories we are missing you
Chris Smalls we are missing howard ashman (1950-1991) and frankin wells (1932-1994) who given to the little mermaid's voice the beast's soul simba's courage and genie's freedom
I don't care how successful the remake was, this version will always be better!
jediskunk67 30
yeah, big differences is was that this one is genuine art made by real artistic minds by nature, and the remake was made by individuals paid to make a new extension for Disneys money machine.
Wasn't impressed with the remake
Nothing beats the original
This song is added to my wedding song list when I dance to my soon to be husband
OH MY GOODNESS! CONGRATS!!! AMEN TO THAT! I'll add it to my wedding dance songs list too ( ;

Miss Myoozikal I would’ve love to have been the pianist playing for both of your weddings. I love playing this song
Lol does that mean your calling your future husband an American buffalo?🤣🤣🤣 so mean.

What I love about the end credits for these 90's disney films is how the pop versions of the love songs seem to somehow elevate them. In other words, the pop songs sound so good that you actually don't mind watching the credits.

25 years of making people believe in the power of true love. Happy anniversary Beauty and the Beast!
The DEEPNESS of it all
Happy 30th Anniversary Of Disney's Beauty And The Beast
No one will ever find a lyricist like Howard Ashman ever again! A lyricist like him only comes around once in a lifetime! He gave a mermaid her voice and a beast his soul.
And a genie his freedom.
Just like John Williams and Hans Zimmer. Those two composed some of the best music in film history.

This song is just something…🥰
I just remembered this song existed when I was having a hard time sleeping. This song just popped out of nowhere and it brought so many feelings, so I searched for it. The ending credits just sound so beautiful and very calming. I can't even remember how many times I've watched Beauty and the Beast, lost count. But now since I've found it, I can rest easy.
The 1991 version is one of the greatest films of alltime. Beautiful song too. Love the instrumental at 1:33.
When I was a kid, it always make me feel as I was cryin' inside but didn't understand then. Now as adult, I can understand well. Sometimes, I still tear a bit - but it makes me grin.

I think it’s old huh?
The Lates David Ogden Stiers and Tony Jay They we're in Both Disney's The Hunchback Of Notre Dame and Beauty And The Beast
The thing I love about Beast is that when he was human he was originally a horrible rotten person like Gaston. Goes to show that matter how bitter a person is, as long as you're alive, it's never too late to make a change.
You know what?.. as you mention Gaston.. do you believe that there could have been hope for him to change his ways, had he came across the Enchantress?
@@richardodonnell2600It's possible, but not as likely. Gaston might not even have the capacity to love others cause he only loves himself. To this day He's Disney's biggest narcissist. Beast was narcissistic like Gaston, but he wasn't evil like Gaston.
Besides Belle, Beast had a whole group of friends who genuinely cared about him. He had a support system that was always there to give him advice or check his temper. Also Beast's personality has mostly to do with his upbringing as well his curse. If Gaston were to transform, none of his "friends" would stand by him like that. He'd likely turn into a monster on the inside too, lash out and more likely kill everyone around him. It's never too late to make a change. But that doesn't mean everyone is capable of change.

Adoro troppo l'introduzione.

If only Howard Ashman lived long enough to see this movie completed, including Aladdin.
His songs withstood the test of time. The remakes won’t do it justice to us, but perhaps he’d be proud that his work is still embraced by the new generation of talents out there.

I got laughed at back when I was living in Camden at the library when I was singing and some kids was laughing and mocking me and one person posted the video on Facebook and wrote 15 mean comments instead of nice comments about me and I was embarrassed and upset about it no one likes my talent I like to sing a lot while listening to music and singing along and dancing too any positive advice for me about my situation please I need a new friend someone who’ll accept me for who I am and not judge me just because I’m different from other people please how can I find my happily ever after any advice for me am I considered a princess like princess Aurora my hair is naturally curly
When I was in elementary/middle school, they would host talents shows, and my teacher, who was a big fan of 90s movies would show us a few of them, mostly the Disney Renaissance movies, but one thing that would stay in our heads was the songs at the end credits. Songs in the end credits gave us that want to sing along, for some odd reason, not like in the movies released today. And whenever the talent show came, a good portion of us would sing one of these songs at the talent show, even ones we never knew were at the end of 90s end credit movies. And this these two classmates, who sang this version of Beauty and the Beast, actually got the tune of how Celine and Peabo sang it quite right.
So whenever, I look back, I remember how movies like Beauty and the Beast are a reason to stay for end credits, not because of any later scene we want to see for a sequel, but to just hum or sing the song the pays all the way to the end.

I saw this right before Christmas of 1991 in theaters. I was almost ten years old, and thought it was the most wonderful movie I had ever seen. My dad had taken us to see it so mom could thoroughly clean and decorate for Christmas company without us bugging her. My dad expected it to be a silly kids movie, but he loved it as much as we did, and he ended up taking my mom to see it on a date that night! I saw it two more times in the theater before it came out on VHS. One of the times I saw it again was for my tenth birthday, about six weeks later. Still my favorite Disney movie from my lifetime. Honestly, though, Beauty and the Beast does present some puzzles. If the Beast has until he turns 21 to earn someone's love, that would make him about to turn 21 by the time Belle meets him. If they've been enchanted for ten years (as Lumiere says in "Be Our Guest"), then the Prince was only 10 or 11 years old when the Enchantress came to his palace wanting shelter. How can someone cast a spell on an eleven-year-old? He probably wasn't supposed to talk to strangers. Where were his parents anyway? And, while I agree he was a jerk to refuse the elderly woman but be nice to her when he found out she was really beautiful, it was still his home. He wasn't under any sort of obligation to let her in. The enchantress had no right to cast a spell on him, nor did she have any right to lay claim to his home. Boundary problems! There are other issues with it too, but it's still a great story with great music.
Well children's movie so the movie may try to convince kids that they should respect elders, also looks and character don't go together.

Tale as old as time
True as it can be
Barely even friends
That somebody bends
Unexpectedly
Just a little change
Small, to say the least
Both a little scared
Neither one prepared
Beauty and the Beast
Ever just the same
Ever a surprise
Ever as before
Never just that sure
As the sun will rise
Ever just the same
Ever a surprise
Ever as before
Ever just that sure
As the sun will rise
Tale as old as time
Tune as old as song
Bittersweet and strange
Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong
Certain as the sun
Rising in the east
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the beast
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the Beast

I watched this movie so many times as a youngster. Everytime they played this song I would get emotional and cry. I'm almost 18 and about to start my junior year of high school. The pop version of let it go didn't click me and nor was it making me feel depressed. Disney doesn't make their pop version songs the way they used to. Nor does it make ppl feel emotional

qaf19921 sadly Howard Ashman never got to see the finished film because he died before the film came out and this song won them an oscar
Howard had also started work on the songs for Aladdin, but passed away before they were finished. Tim Rice had to complete the last few numbers.

I will be movie director, when I have a job. I would bring the 2D anmiated stlyle from Disney in the future.
Ian Cassidy can i be your co-director ?
Ariel Joote Thank you very much.
Dark Prince I don't know.
Just remember you’d probably need to be green lit by a producer.
I want to make 2D animated movies too, just have to remember that if you want people to see it you need to combine your artistic vision with making it sellable.
RIP in peace Howard. People need to appreciate these movies he wrote songs and produced because if it wasn’t for him Disney might not still be around. RIP in peace angela Lansbury ❤
Being a little boy in the 90's, I assumed this was the song I would hear when I fell in love. Thankfully it still is.
Roger Ebert's review 1991...
"Beauty and the Beast" slipped around all my roadblocks and penetrated directly into my strongest childhood memories, in which animation looked more real than live-action features. Watching the movie, I found myself caught up in a direct and joyous way. I wasn't reviewing an "animated film." I was being told a story, I was hearing terrific music, and I was having fun..."
Of course he goes on, but for a hardened critic like Mr Ebert to begin a review like this was high praise indeed.
I can't help but wonder if this inspired that scene in Ratatouille with the food critic.
This just screams 90's and I love it for that
True. That’s why i come back to this, it’s amazing seeing how Disney was in the 90s and being able to see when it begins to drift from that 90s to 2000s feel such as the Princess and The Frogs end credits.
Beauty and the Beast is the BEST and GREATEST love story and movie of all time ever of my childhood
A very touching tribute to Howard Ashman.

I remember watching this for the first time not long ago (16 at the time), and when it ended and the credits came up, I don't know what I was feeling but I kinda sat down still after the movie for 5 minutes and all I said was. "Son of a bitch." It was a beautiful moment.

I remember being annoyed as a 6 year old kid that my Mom would make me wait through the credits to listen to this song before I could put another movie on. Now I'm here 22 years later listening, remembering the good times. Miss her.
Would you rather have been grounded as your mom threatened to not let you watch another film if you did not watch the credits. My mom would not force me to see the whole credits because life is short.
I'm a grown man and this makes me want to cry
This song is so beautiful. Brings me back. I feel this song every time I listen to it. I love Beauty and the Beast so much. And this movie made me become a fan of Jerry Orbach for all of these years.
