I believe I read that he uses his control of metal to create a metal coating on his body, thus the reason why his skin tone changes at the beginning of the match.
@ch0wsiub0w only works when Yang is in Seiei Enbu. In that particular instance Roshi just used the first slash of Tourou Zan and his after-images attacked causing enough hit stun and making it possible to link another first slash of Tourou Zan. Easy as it sounds, it is also something that takes pretty good timing.
i don't understand why he didn't activate seie enbu for the last two rounds. He had several knockdowns and used it very effectively up until that point...
Andrew Torriente I only saw one opportunity he could’ve used it, and that was after the launcher near the last round. Even then, he may just be scrambling at that point, and looking for an EX usage. The sweeps didn’t allow him time to safely activate and go on offense.
When you're using an aegis trap, it's usually a guessing game. Yes, yang was blocking low, but when you're blocking like that you're just watching for an overhead to do a high block. So as Urien, you can either go for an overhead to get low blockers, or a low kick to get high blockers. After that it's just luck.
Roshihikari and RX rocks with their respective charcters..sadly u can see Roshi forget about the teleport on this atch, to escape of some kind of sitautions
@simon6115 Seiei Enbu isn't another Genei Jin. Seiei Enbu is balanced out so that it can be used offensively and defensively (see Roshihikari vs Boss). Because it cannot be comboed into, 75% of the time, Roshihikari will find away to chase down and corner an opponent when it has been activated.
Wow, that was an intense match. I'll take this any day versus Daigo and Wang's SF3 match. I can't believe that Rosh was able to negate Urien super set ups every time. Even more amazing is that RX pulled it out! For the life of me I don't know why Rosh didn't activate his super when RX was nearly dead and he was on match point.
Short bar, fast to build up a super that can take off half your life if you can chain it correctly, much better than something that requires building up for ex moves, like SA II
RX figured Roshi out in the second game,Round 1 game 2 got mindf*cked after double parry from RX and then got cornered after it, ruthless. Round 2 game 2: Roshi simply got outplayed. Game 3 started very good for Roshi, I bet RX got mindf*cked after those combos. at round 2 of game 3 RX looked pretty much defeated (using random moves, like a launcher whilst the foe is down, random knees getting punished). But he recovered gaining confidence with parries, and in the end won the game, good shit!)
that post was meant to a guy who was saying that SA3 was simply much better than SA2. I didn't directly reply to him because his post was like 2 years ago so...yeah.
@subaru84 Roshi has a set character with who he uses SA3 with. I'm not surprised if he chooses Seiei Enbu vs Ken. Seiei Enbu doesn't do crap damage. Have you ever seen the resets Yang users pull off? Not to mention the dash that can mix up opponents? That can easily leave to half life, although I usually don't like that because you chance the remains of what you have left.
@aznbreakerboi51o "If you can chain it correctly?" That's the biggest weakness of SA3--you can't combo into it. Overall, I believe SA2 is Yang's best, but I still love 3 =]
Yeah I have to say that I like RX's urien just because I wish I was that good with (though I'll need to get a stick to charge buffer and partition) The only problem I see with Yang is that none of his specials really stand out as superior since his SA 3 feels a little weaker then Yun's...
It's almost impossible to play a cheap Yang. His only real asset is his fast recovery and any effective Yang tactic requires fast reflexes and accurate execution. It's not like he has a Houyoku Sen to abuse.
hmm, late response, but yang's rolling kick isn't too safe. If blocked or parried, yang is wide open to get hit, and it's pretty easy to see coming. If you combo into it, there are usually better options.
@aznbreakerboi51o Oh I know it's not like Genei and that it has incredible pressure and defense when you need it. Just clarifying your first statement. I still believe it's not the best choice for Yang, unless he's up against a large character (Hugo, Q, Urien).
yeah yang isn't even close to top tier and he's so exciting to watch (both him and yun they never get old!) it's not like his whole game is just based on hit confirming and mixing up one combo
Not everyone studies Street Fighter, so why is it surprising that not everyone know who he is. Its funny how i got 6 thumbs down and my comment is marked as spam because a couple fan boys felt offended.
Teleport trough Aegis is not the idea... u see when u fought a character with charge method is a good idea change sides sometimes, cause u can unbalance the gameplay, and the attack factor of the enemy , so Yang can do this combining the big jumps and the teleports, got it? xD peace dude
Sorry for the noobness, but why is RX using the Aegis Reflector like that? I thought it was used mainly to create unblockables, but here he uses it only to pressure, reduce Yang's space and make cheap damage.
i wouldn't say that yang's SA3 is "much" better than SA2. First of all SA3 doesn't take up half ur opponent's life, it takes roughly around 40-45%. Secondly, yes you can fill that bar faster than SA2 but SA3 only allows you to use 1 EX move.I would say that SA3 is better than SA2 but not by far. Depends on the match-up and your play style. Going to absolutes just shows your inexperience in SF3 and pretty much anything.
What? Urien's not mexican, his base of operations just happens to be in Mexico. Where on Earth did you pick up that he was made out of metal? I think you're mistaking him for Q.
And that ladies and gentlemen is why I love Street Fighter.
wow, that was intense. my brain isn't quick enough to process all the things that happened in that matchup.
sick fight. I love wathcing RX play, hes always teching everything
That was amazing!!
I believe I read that he uses his control of metal to create a metal coating on his body, thus the reason why his skin tone changes at the beginning of the match.
Wow these are some of the best set of matches I've ever seen on RUclips.
RX punishes sooooo hard for every mistake and read he gets. Just insane.
@ch0wsiub0w only works when Yang is in Seiei Enbu. listen when urien block a hit... its like hiting metal
omg Roshi OWNED the place ... incredible i cant believe that hi punished so hard that urien
Roshi is still sick.Definetly one of my favorite players in the community
3:52 what was that?!?! freakin cool winquote^^
Because he guessed that Roshi was going block high
i don't understand why he didn't activate seie enbu for the last two rounds. He had several knockdowns and used it very effectively up until that point...

that 2nd round was awesome

Fucking sweetness.
thats a sick fucking yang
corrections on my previous comment what i tryed to say is that Roshi owned the place in the first match he totaly pwnished that Urien.
Let's all write a friendly letter to CAPCOM demanding SF 3s for PSN/XBL or we'll show them a SA they can't parry. =)
Short bar, fast to build up a super that can take off half your life if you can chain it correctly, much better than something that requires building up for ex moves, like SA II
As a Yang player I have to say Yang has almost nothing going for him but his nice slashes.
RX figured Roshi out in the second game,Round 1 game 2 got mindf*cked after double parry from RX and then got cornered after it, ruthless. Round 2 game 2: Roshi simply got outplayed. Roshihikari's reflexes are sick.RX could use sa1 or sa2 as well because none of Aegis setups made it on him.
Right. Cause that's "cheap'.
Oh btw, when you play someone who blocks often, call them cheap as well.
amazing blocking first round!
The unstoppable RX got perfected on and that Roshi guy got an A? omg..lol Yang is my favorite character and I am nowhere near this good.
what a nice battle
that post was meant to a guy who was saying that SA3 was simply much better than SA2. I didn't directly reply to him because his post was like 2 years ago so...yeah.
holy shit @ 1:53 to 2:02
@subaru84 Roshi has a set character with who he uses SA3 with. I'm not surprised if he chooses Seiei Enbu vs Ken.

and that headbutt and knee move.... im not sure if Rx used it here tho o.0 lol. w/e its all goodd
unblockables are a bit hard to pull off against the twins aswell
Yes. The only time it's okay to use the EX-version is on wake up. But even then it's not that good.
@aznbreakerboi51o "If you can chain it correctly?" That's the biggest weakness of SA3--you can't combo into it. Overall, I believe SA2 is Yang's best, but I still love 3 =]
He's not made out of metal. He controls metal and electricity. Though I don't really see where the metal comes in.
i wish i could play yang that well
Yeah I have to say that I like RX's urien just because I wish I was that good with (though I'll need to get a stick to charge buffer and partition)
The only problem I see with Yang is that none of his specials really stand out as superior since his SA 3 feels a little weaker then Yun's...
damn yang is BEAST
@Jay0929 kinda glad but kinda sad i was hoping for elena. but hey.
Holy shet did that really just happen?
KO uses Yang also, very good yang
what better way to finish a match than with a standing fierce?
RX Oh u
my respect to "RX"
can't teleport through Aegis.
The real question here is why he thinks there is a correlation between being made of metal and being Mexican.
MOV/Rikimaru/KO are more consistent than he is.
MOV/Kuroda are probably the best players at the moment.
lmao Roshi man 2nd round 1:31 man his yang was beastly with pressure i was gna flag the vid for sexual content coz there was tht much RAPE!
GG!!!! xP bad ass yang :))) first round
@Jay0929 he'll be dlc too =)
@evosanderzz he is :]
wow waht a finish and i thought roshi would come back and take it but good fight anyways
I miss Urien :(
@aznbreakerboi51o wait for which character is this info for?
It's almost impossible to play a cheap Yang. His only real asset is his fast recovery and any effective Yang tactic requires fast reflexes and accurate execution. It's not like he has a Houyoku Sen to abuse.
Has there been a Yang player that's come CLOSE to Roshi?
hmm, late response, but yang's rolling kick isn't too safe. If blocked or parried, yang is wide open to get hit, and it's pretty easy to see coming. If you combo into it, there are usually better options.
cuz urien is a charge character lol...

Roshi played way better
yea, roshi my fav yang player.
from 5:23 to 5:30 why didn't the Urien use an overhead with his shield?
Master Roshi will teach. Best Yang player IMO. Don't care too much for KO's Yang.
yeah yang isn't even close to top tier and he's so exciting to watch (both him and yun they never get old!) it's not like his whole game is just based on hit confirming and mixing up one combo
@Devhawk124 Yang
that could be worse...aegis definitely is the best SA for Urien
if they each won 2...who won?
Not everyone studies Street Fighter, so why is it surprising that not everyone know who he is. Its funny how i got 6 thumbs down and my comment is marked as spam because a couple fan boys felt offended.
how do you do that continuous combo at 4:30?
Luffy.
Teleport trough Aegis is not the idea... u see when u fought a character with charge method is a good idea change sides sometimes, cause u can unbalance the gameplay, and the attack factor of the enemy , so Yang can do this combining the big jumps and the teleports, got it? xD peace dude
LOL
You mean me?
Sorry for the noobness, but why is RX using the Aegis Reflector like that? I thought it was used mainly to create unblockables, but here he uses it only to pressure, reduce Yang's space and make cheap damage.

why doesnt he uses Yang's rolling kick attack? is that a bad move?
eh rosh is pretty cheap, he builds up and basically uses poke moves until he can super combo him i'm glad RX won
wow! really great game by RX. this match up is NOT fun for uriens
Who is RX?
Uh, duh. What, do you expect SA3 is useful against a Ryu or an Elena player?
hahahahahaha
"A little" weaker? You don't play SFIII very much, do you?
What? Urien's not mexican, his base of operations just happens to be in Mexico. Where on Earth did you pick up that he was made out of metal? I think you're mistaking him for Q.
