***To fill the unit with water*** Lift the tank off the base with the handle on top. Flip the tank over. There's a screw down lid on the bottom of the tank. Unscrew this lid. Fill the tank with water and tightly replace the cap. Flip the tank back over and carefully place the tank back onto the base, making sure that the base is on a level surface and being careful not to accidentally hit the small spring-loaded plunger on the bottom of the tank. The plunger on the bottom should line up with the round peg in the base. Make sure the tank is secure and the water will bubble down into the base automatically.
To all the ppl crying about the steam he didnt buy the $15 vaposteam i just bought this today i used to sample vapo pad but i also poured vapo steam in blue thing but its all good 🤞🏾 hope this helped someone
I have chest infection I got this one just today, but the red light is coming on! The tank is full of water and don't know what to do .I really need this to help me breathe 😭😭 ..going back to normal methods..my steam vaporizer boiling water.🤕 I just thought with this humidifier I can used all night .
Thanks for the video just bought mine.... Followed the instructions.... After it was on 10 minutes the red light came on don't understand why it's completely full of water.... The instructions really don't say much other than do reset.... But not sure why the light came on it's a red light.... Any ideas what might be going on?
We're having the red light same problem after 2 minutes of having the device. We've tried all the troubleshooting tips. No luck. I don't recommend this device at all.
Is see no visible steam/mist coming out the top of mine nor do I see any coming out I your video...is this normal? I can feel some steam but cannot see it...
Warm steam is best, provided you put the machine out of his reach or explain to him that it is extremely hot and can burn him of he’s not careful around it
Sometimes moisture can condense on the bottom because of the temperature difference between the room and the hot boiling water inside the humidifier. So I just use a small towel underneath to prevent this.
Fans and Cars yep. Also did you see the comments that I wrote earlier? YT kept on deleting them. Sorry for annoying you, I’m just trying to figure out how to ask you the question without the comments being deleted lol.
Does the device also have a fan in it or only a heating element? For example Beurer LB55 also has a fan so it's quite loud humidifier. This one seems to be more quiet.
Disassembly is pretty easy but cleaning the inside of the tank is kind of difficult without a brush to help you reach all the way inside. You can also clean around the gray heater element with a toothbrush.
I didn't see any steam coming out and the opening on the top just got a little warm even after waiting about almost 2minutes. Have I bought a bad one? L Spigel
Anyone know why this thing LEAKS a ton of water out of all four feet on the bottom? Mine is leaking everywhere, water coming out of the feet when you pick it up. Defective, or just poor design?
I’ve had mine for almost 3 years and no issues so far. I have hard water so the heating element requires frequent cleaning of the minerals and scale but no leaks from the base. There was one occasion that it started leaking from around the tank but that was because I didn’t put the tank cap on correctly and the tank overflowed the base.
@@FansandCars Do the feet on yours all have a tiny pinhole in each? I didn't notice this when I first got it. But when water goes down in the base, it just leaks right out of the pinhole in each foot. I'm either going to Flex Seal them closed, or just use a water catching tray under it. Still don't know if something happen to it, or design that way.
Just bought this and don't think smell any vick I pour the liquid and put one vicks pad but don't smell anything I have a classic one the older model and I smell vicks on that one this one am just smelling the smoke not sure why
Vicks liquid cough medicine is not for use with this unit. Only VapoSteam and the pads. The pads will take a bit to warm up, once the unit is steaming and the water is boiling, the pads should start to smell.

Thanks for the review. So I went to target and paid 33.99 which was a great price.. 2 other places wanted 50.00
Awesome I helped you out! I purchased mine at Target too
Just bought it from target 50$
It's so cheap in USA, compared to other countries
You’re the man. Solid review. Relaxing video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I bought 2 of these over time. 1st one is fine, 2nd one has a strong plastic smell for now?
Always fill with distilled water!! You'll never need to clean it.
Just to make sure. These dont put out as much steam that the cool mist humidifiers do right?

The red light usually means out of water or overheat. Maybe yours might be defective.
this happened to me, i poured a lot of the water out and it works now
@Steve Miller I seeing a shitload of people with the exact same problem, including me. Did you ever figure it out?
Is the element clean? If the grey element is not clean and free of mineral buildup, the element won’t heat correctly and may shut off.

No problem! Happy to help!
Melissa, How is this one working out for you?
Is see no visible steam/mist coming out the top of mine nor do I see any coming out I your video...is this normal? I can feel some steam but cannot see it...
This is exactly why I came to RUclips. There’s no visible steam on mine either! Am I doing something wrong or is it suppose to be this way?
The steam burning the vape steam in blue part
Very nice looking warm mist humidifier that is up to 99% bacteria free visible moisture great video
Thanks!
@@FansandCars no problem
What’s the cool verses warm used for
Warm is bacteria free and filterless, it’s also quieter than other types.
Cool is filtered cool mist and is safer with children around.
just got covid, this helping me get through
I hope you feel better!
Hope you feel better, im going through the same thing as well and just got this
It does :) it takes a minute or two to start steaming
I hope you get better!! I had it in December-January and it’s horrible

Whats better for a 7year old ? The warm steam or just the cold one.. its for better sleep & he's breathing at night

wheres the steam? do you recommend?
thanks so much for this information...friends w Covid cough. I was confused how to operate...you are a godsend

I just bought this one today. What does the clicking sound mean?
There shouldn’t be any clicking noise?
@@FansandCars I'm guessing it was getting hot. It stopped just now.
My humidifier is leaking from bottom although nothing seems broken. Any suggestion on how to fix it?
Sometimes moisture can condense on the bottom because of the temperature difference between the room and the hot boiling water inside the humidifier. So I just use a small towel underneath to prevent this.
Thank you!!
I a not seeing alot of steam am I suppose to ,also using distilled water should I add a pinch of salt?
Just a little bit of salt helps, but distilled water is the best. Distilled water has no minerals in it.
From one pad how many days going to work??
Read the directions that come with the unit. They will tell you everything you need to know.
Are you sure you can use essential oils in the medicine cup?
You can, I would just clean it out after use.
Nice humidifier! I’m planning on getting a humidifier like this.
Warm mist is my favorite!
Fans and Cars I honestly think that it’s better than cool mist.
Me too!

Just a heating element! No fan.
Is it making a high pitch ringing sound?
It shouldn’t.
thanks for the review. How is the cleaning process? Is there a lot of work to do?
Disassembly is pretty easy but cleaning the inside of the tank is kind of difficult without a brush to help you reach all the way inside. You can also clean around the gray heater element with a toothbrush.
Thanks for the review it was helpful.
No problem :)
Thanks for sharing👍
No problem!
Why does it only run for 15 20 minutes then reset light comes on....
The water in your area might be “hard” or filled with minerals, try cleaning the heating element with CLR or vinegar.
Try adding a pinch or two of salt wait 10 min met it heat up if it resets add 2 more pinch of salt. This will help in case of hard water
Use distilled water.
Thank you for the vid, just got tested positive for covid... and I had this in my closet and thought 'well damn I finally have a use for it's
I hope you feel a bit better now and hope you get better soon!
@@FansandCars thank you! 🥰
Where do u put the water in?
Where that plunger is at it’s an upside down tank
Is it supposed to have more steam coming out?
Its not supposed to be billowing steam but some steam should be visible, and you should feel the hot moist air coming out of the top.
I didn't see any steam coming out and the opening on the top just got a little warm even after waiting about almost 2minutes.
Have I bought a bad one?

My window steams up is that normal when this is on?
That means your humidity is too high in the room. I would turn it off and open the door
The vix pad doesn’t work any tips ?
The boiling water in the chamber behind the pad door will heat the pad. If it has been previously used, you should use a new one.
@@FansandCars it’s a fresh one still nothing
Did you let the the unit start steaming before you insert the pad? The area behind the little door should become extremely hot.
@@FansandCars yes, should I wet it maybe? When I take it out I can smell it but in the section I smell nothing
I haven’t tried that before, normally they work for me.

Mine doesn’t have those holes. Sorry it’s leaking everywhere that sucks.

You have to plug it in first
That is good for infant?
Yes, to help the breathing, however, it must be placed in a high place out of reach so it can not tip over and burn the child.
Thank u so much
You’re welcome!
That is good for cough?
Is it normal the after we cleans it the sounds change? Mine is the sounds change after the first cleaned. It sounds like having water kettle boiling.
Yes :)
How long does it take to start steaming just bought one?
In the video it took about 45-60 seconds. If not, add a pinch of salt to the water.
I don't see any mist
Can I use essential oils on this Humidifier?
Yes, in the front there’s a slot for an essential oil pad. This gets warm and distributes the oils into the air.
@@FansandCars Thanks for your response 👍 can you also use the oils on the top tray ??
Yes. That part is top rack dishwasher washable as well.
