    Great wee video, thanks. I used a four pack of tinned tomatoes, not quite heavy enough but it’ll do till I find something else!

    The left side of my body is weaker than my right; I go in circles in my mind as to how to bring my left arm to the matching strength of my right. Sometimes I use my right arm/hand to help my left, using the same weight that my right can handle, or I use a lighter weight alone, on my left side. Not only is left side weaker, it bounces around, hitting my head when the weight is too heavy. Today, my head is a tiny bit sore, from yesterday on the left side. Only every other day?

    Hi there, glad I found your channel !! I have a couple of things #1- do you have programs, like this one, that I can work out together, like a class? Instead of demos? And #2- any armpit exercises??? Trying to get in some kind of shape for spring / summer coming after undergoing medical treatment all winter...starting to feel better but can5 quite do cardio yet !! Light weights and stretching....thanks again !! Blessings, Nancy

    My arms were fatigued, not legs, but my knees were hurting. Do I continue with same amount of weight, or should I go down and do more reps?

  • @catalot
    @catalot 8 лет назад +2

    I can feel my lower back hurt just watching you. :( Is there something more moderate to do to strengthen the back as an earlier step to the squat exercises? Or something that is easier on the knees? Perhaps it is just fewer reps? Less weight? Thank you for your videos. I appreciate them so much.

    I was born with congenital hip dysplasia. my right leg is shorter than my left. Bone on bone at this point. Of course the right leg is much weaker and no muscle tone at all. What would you suggest, without me aggravating the right hip too much?

    Hi Debra , thank you for the video. Ive been reading you book and I am trying to gain strength and lose some wt. I do a circuit similar to what you have offered here, but a question.. I thought we should always have 2-3 minutes between an exercise for a particular body part , i.e. your squats you did here,. and you didn't really take any rest between , or did you feel as you went through the circuit you had given the gluts & quads enough rest to go straight into the circuit again ?

      Hope you got started. I am 66 and was sedentary and gained 30lbs. I started 5 months ago with just walking, stairclimbing, and stretches along with a very clean diet..no sugar or grains, and dairy. I have added many you tube workouts now so I could get back my muscle. I have lost that extra weight and gained much muscle. Think health and keep motivated. After even a week you will feel better and loose that carb craving. Getting started is always the hardest I think. Once dyou get in shape you will be very motivated to keep it up. Nobody wants to feel bad at our age. Good luck! I was bedriddend pretty much for two years in my 40's and never got back into shape. I am sure I had worse muscle atrophy than you. You cana do it. Just take it one day at a time. Go to sleep if you find yourself craving sweets at night.

    How heavy is the kettle bell

  • @sharonlmc65
    @sharonlmc65 8 лет назад +3

    Would you combine this with cardio?

    • @Flipping50TV
      @Flipping50TV  8 лет назад +3

      You sure could. A cardio session before followed by this. If you're short on time and need to exercise fewer days a week and do both when you do it, that would be very appropriate.

    • @Flipping50TV
      @Flipping50TV  8 лет назад +7

      Hi Sharon- in another video you asked about videos to do 4-5 times a week to. Yes, take a look at these. With weight training - remember you want to do them 2 or 3 times a week. You need 48-72 hours (we're each different) between for best results. For (4) full-length workout videos: foreverfitandfab.com/you-still-got-it-girl-exercise-videos

    Hi Deborah, question: is it possible to stand to do the third exercise, for those of us having difficulty getting down and up of of the floor due to bad back, hips, etc?

    • @Flipping50TV
      @Flipping50TV  8 лет назад +2

      No- a chest press has to position the chest muscles parallel to the resistance - ceiling or sky in this case. So if you sat up you'd be working the shoulders and no longer the chest. You can do a chest press Lying on a firm surface to avoid the floor. Or alternatively use a machine that allows you to sit and press at a gym. Hope that helps, Debra

    Over 50 and can not do squats because of pelvic floor issue. Suggestions?

    • @doula2010
      @doula2010 6 лет назад +1

      Work on just the correct form for squats and just barely stick your butt out and do a small squat. Find a safe way to engage your core muscles.

      it's all about choosing a weight you fatigue at the number of repetitions that makes sense based on starting (15-20) or advancing.. 10-12 or fit and looking for weight loss and bone density 10 or fewer.
