Update 3: PoE Overlay was recently acquired by Overwolf, which is another 3rd party overlay tool that carries far more bloat and non-PoE features than I'm willing to recommend in this video. I've since updated the relevant download in the description to provide the community fork version of PoE Overlay, which has yet to prove itself to be as reliable as the original, but is at least not Overwolf.
They probably banned it because it basically ddos'd the API with its automatic lookup. Just from the way it was updating in the video, that looked like a problem waiting to happen.

Even if you dont want to see your Chaos/Hour I still highly recommend Exilence Next. Some Div Cards are suprisingly valuable that you wouldnt notice if you dont knwo its name!

So PoE v2 is going to be geared more like a ""Play & Build How You Like"" kind of game. Which I am ALL for..... I dont like build guides, because you are actually playing someone elses build. Basically cookie cutter & belongs to someone else. You are actually playing someone elses character and how THEY like to build it. Not like how YOU want to build it. PoE v2 is going to be GREAT..... can wait for it to come out.

People wont be tied down to cookie cutter builds playing someone elses character and style on how THEY play their game. And you are there for the ride basically. :)

You forgot Poe Companion, I just CANT live without it. Trading made ez, non confusing and for multiple sessions. Whispering and managing your sales comms like no other.... fack me I sound like a sales man already!
The online linking of loot filters is only kind of supported. There are a number of bugs and outright roadblocks. Maybe in a year it will be more reliable.
Exile Diary is very good and IMO is better than Exilence Next, since it allows tracking Drops PER MAP. This feature was in old Exilence, but not in the new one.
Also my recommendation is: Deadly Trade Since Mercury Trade was abandoned, Deadly Trade is the new solution. It features keeping track of trades, easy instant-replies, currency exchange overview and other useful information like syndicate hideout members or fossil drop locations.
Thank you for this recommendation. I downloaded it today and it is loaded with great features. The only problem I am having is mapping the hotkeys. Setting them in the settings menu is not working for me. I must have a conflict I don't yet see.
Been using Poe Overley for the past weeks, And i've noticed that prices are 7 out of 10 not correct when I manually checked it. Most of the time they are overpriced. (It really deppends on the stat the other item is listed and on what stat you're searching) It really deppends on what you select to let the tooltip search for. Sometimes I wish that I could see the stats of the item they put in for that price. (now you only see the price and name) So most of the time I'm manually checking it like I did with trade.macro.. Overall, it's a great way to check if it's worth something, but don't want to click on the currency (in the overlay) to fix the price and always manually price check it before listing it. I can't stress this enough. But Appart from that I like the model, and the tooltip is going in the good direction. And I also don't use trade.macro anymore since i've downloaded Overley in combination with poe Companion. I can't launch poe without these 2 nowdays haha Poe Companion is a must have for trade league. Makes singles tradings much faster and almost brainless
how do you get Alva mission screen to open inside of the temple before it starts? Great vid for people starting! I use all but Exilence only because I don't like to see chaos stack up and get surpised by the amount.

I loaded craft of exile to check what are the odds of rolling my best in slot wand. Apparently, it would take nearly 28 000 chaos orb rolls on average. Well, at least I no longer have hope of getting it.
Please provide a source where GGG states these are allowed. Whenever I contact them asking about a specific app/tool, they always hide themselves behind copy/paste responses with no definitive answer whether a tool is allowed or not.
poe's offical trade site does not have every prefix or suffix on there so i quite often find myself going back to poe.trade just so i can get that one rare i wanted trust me try and find reduced mana reserved and nothing will pop up try it on poe.trade and for some reason u can find it thats not the only mod either
The mod you are looking for is INCREASED mana reserved, found out thru trial and error that when a number is negative, and your searching for it, try looking for its opposite, then in the numeric boxes, just be sure to include the negative sign with the number. The Offcical Trade site is not objectively better than Poe.trade. There are several features that are missing or do not work properly compared to Poe.trade. For example searching for certain mods just don't work half of the time because the filters are not up to date. "Volatile Dead consumes an additional corps" has two entries and only one works. Searching and filtering can be a chore because the the Site lacks "Total" categories and the Pseuds are not the same. Searching for Item bases is also not intuitive. The differentiation between mods is often confusing. When searching for "Cannot be affected by corrupted blood" you need to use the "implicit" type but there is also an Explicit which just shows nothing.

I like www.poelab.com/ (it's a tool that helps you with an overlay showing the labyrinth layout, they update the layout daily). Another one I used a lot is poemap.live/ , you list the maps you have and the ones you want, when the system matches you with another trader you get a notification in real time. Makes trading maps of the same tier really easy.

pathofexile.com/trade STILL for some weird reason doesn't have "#% reduced mana reserved" mod on the list and poe.trade has. Yes, you can "bypass" it by using #% increased mana reserved and enter -1, but that's Still dumb and I see no reason why it hasn't been implemented there.

Yeah, I kow what you mean. I took me 3 tries and a good build guide to get into PoE. Maybe you can give it a try again when the next league starts in ~1.5 month.
It's a lot more hardcore than d2. I remember making the switch and feeling so overwhelmed. Then getting 1 hit by everything near the end of the storyline campaign. Takes a few characters before you figure out how to be endgame viable and start making economic development.
I definitly recommend poe.ninja to get an overview of prices and price trends. While not always accurate it is a great starting point for pricing your uniques and bulk items (divcards, fragments and the like).
i disagree. poe.trade is far superior to the official site. the ONLY thing official is better with is searching for anointed items. other than that it is at least 50% quicker to search poe.trade for the exact item you are looking for. and poe overlay is top notch. best in class for sure.
Poe.Trade isn't as up to date as the official site is and the performance is worth (try it with a mobile browser and you'll know what I mean. I've fixed the big empty space and the position of the search button myself with some injected CSS, so now I don't know where the old site would be better. Could you elaborate where you see any advantages?

I also would highly suggest trade management. POE trade companion is great in helping managing incoming trades as well as your own trades.
