오늘은 스승의 날이자 세종대왕 탄신일이죠.
훈민정음의 창제원리 강의는 고전콘서트의 1탄으로 진행이 되었습니다만
오늘 올리게 되는 것은 천부경, 삼일신고에 이은 민족경전 시리즈로 올린다고 보시는 것이 맞을 듯 합니다.
당시의 시대적 상황 속에서 우리의 글을 선포한다는 것이
현시점에서 자주 국방을 하겠다며 핵무기보유를 선포하는 것 이상의 어려움이 있었을 것임을 감안한다면
훈민정음의 창제는 세종대왕의 '백성을 사랑하시는 마음'의 결정체라고 여겨집니다.

"옛이응"은 "ng"발음이죠. 일본어에서 "나고야"의 "고(ngo)"발음을 말하는 거죠. 우리는 "농업, 공업" 등의 발음에서 "업(ngob)" 발음인 거고, 우리말에서도 과거에는 중국, 베트남, 일본처럼 초성에 "ng"음이 있었답니다. 지금은 앞 음절 종성이 옛이응 "ㅇ(ng)"일 때만 발음되고 있죠.

+Venerable Bhikkhu Maitreya He is explaining the philosophy of Korean alphabet, Hangul. As you know, Hangul alphabet was designed using Oriental philosophy 'Yin-Yang and the Five Elements'. So explaining this in English is not easy.. ^^. Circle means heaven or sky. Square means ground or earth. In other words Circle means infinitely extendable, soft and mild. Square means decent, well-shaped, neat.
