I would love to see a 110 rd GSG drum magazine run on this setup. It would be really useful to see a list of build parts for anyone wanting to duplicate this.
@@joecat101 That' a UTG hand stop. I did the math - at list prices this rifle build is $2180 before shipping, taxes, and FFL transfer fee. VQ parts (barrel, receiver, bolt) are $1112, TK parts $700, Riton 3 $350, UTG $18. I could build one of these but the TK parts prices bother me and the flat trigger with serrations is not for me.
I love seeing the intersection between the 3D printed communities wild .22 designs and the industry itself. This looks like some crazy file you would download from the gatalog.

And if you knew anything about 3D printing firearms parts (receivers) you would know that your statement about them being crap is incorrect. Obviously the aluminum examples will hold up longer and fair better across all climates and exposures but a printed frame does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Unless something has changed that I'm not aware of, most of the AW restrictions dont apply to rimfire. I know about 10 years ago you could buy .22s with folding stocks and a removable mag no problem.

According to the specs, the Tacsol 10/22 takedown is lighter by half a pound. Either way, this looks cooler and I love how the magazine is easily accessible.
I shoot competition and I use a Volquartsen Superlite with the magpul stock. I like having a heavier gun, granted I’ve never tried using one that’s super light like a mod shot but I like my heavier guns

I wish they had plans to come out with a longer and more substantial forend. I know they want a light rifle, but some people prefer more forward hand positions and thus really limits you.
Hell yeah, my Henry survival is so light it's easy to over compensate so I understand. Wonder what this cost? I will never have only because I don't see a need for it since I'm not competitive shooting. It is definitely cool though.
Manticore lower 500, forend folding stock and grip 200, Volquartsen receiver 370, Volquartsen bolt 286, Volquartsen barrel w/ forward blow comp 471 for a total of 1827. Idk about vert grip or optic.
That’s really nice & definitely light but not the lightest .22lr rifle. Although they’re single shots, the Chiappa Little Badger is 2.9 lbs & the elusive Pack Rifle is a mere 15.5 oz.
