      I'm surprised they didn't. Then again, it's possible they don't have the elements anymore; these scenes showed up on the DVD release, but they were lower quality that was was broadcast on Fox. And after that fire at U Studios Hollywood in 2008, who knows what they still have anymore?
      Still, you never can tell with Spielberg-related movies. I'm thinking when the next "Jurassic World" movie hits, they'll be looking for some new way to fool you into buying everything you already have all over again. Releasing the extended version of this would be a pretty damn good start...

      Yeah but not in this order...
      It's totally illogical here... Malcolm is standing yawning in front of that beach poster for a reason while the train screeches by! Or do you think they added that in later when they decided to get rid of that boardroom scene so it would be a funny transition? It's so weird the two scenes would start with a yawning character anyway.

      it also lets you know that everybody from the first movie was paid to keep quiet about what happened and that all the deaths and injuries had actual consequences that the company is still dealing with 4 years later. as an adults watching it with full knowledge of the first one, it lays a lot of "oh shit there were actual consequences from the first movie." John Hammond’s intentions had been noble and not one based on greed or profit, but to invigorate children’s fascination with dinosaurs. When Gennaro was speaking of profit margins, ticket pricing, and other financial stuff, Hammond stressed to him that presenting the wonders of dinosaurs to all were his sole motivation for building the park. He did not have any malice intended for anybody when it all went south.
      Unfortunately, as we see in the first movie, greed in Denis Nedry was the ultimate downfall in the park and John Hammond’s dreams. Nedry, bribed by a rival company, compromised the park in the pursuit of self-profit without regard for the potential consequences, which he himself paid the price for.

      I watched a legal video on this topic. From memory, Nedrys family could have still sued for negligence, Hammond is still ultimately responsible for the fact Nedry died under his employment. Theoretically Hammond should have implemented contingency safety measures so stealing the embryos was impossible, but even if he could still steal them, Nedry should have been able to commit his crime without dying. Increased security so he can't leave the building, better roads with stronger safety barriers, better signage so he can find the docks, etc. A good lawyer would still be able to make a case Hammond is ultimately at fault.
      However, any financial settlement from InGen would have been redirected by the judge to pay the settlements for the other deaths Nedrys actions directly caused: Gennaro, Arnold, Muldoon. The family would never see a cent.

In other words they would take other people's stuff and reverse engineer them and say it was their own product at least that's what I read in the original Jurassic Park novel but this one this one took the taco Dennis nedry basically placed the command into the park computers that would shut down the electric fences and shut down the card locks on the doors he only did it of course so that he could get the dinosaur embryos out of the freezers in the cloning lab and then could deliver them to dodgson's man on the East dock. Little did he know what would happen as a result the isla nublar incident as a result of his actions several innocent people were killed. Donald Gennaro, Robert Muldoon and I believe John Arnold or Ray Arnold or whatever his name was. Also several people were put in harm's way. Those who are thankfully not killed but were severely affected by the incident at the park were Dr Ian Malcolm paleontologist Dr Ellie sattler paleobotanist Dr Ian Malcolm mathematician, as well as two minor children Timothy Murphy and his sister Alexis and this also brought near ruin to Mr Hammond's company, Ingen. I saw somewhere that you can’t sue or counter sue a company or someone if you committed a crime or conspiracy. For example he plan to steal the embryos, he used his hacking to shut down parts of the park, that lead to property damage and deaths. Then he was killed by a Dino, his family members can’t sue for justice on his death, due to the destruction and crime he’s committed. I think it’s called “dirty hands” law or something

      @mikegallant811 4 года назад +2

      @@jefflopez9348 yes Mr Lopez you are indeed correct Dennis nedry was responsible for all the deaths and destruction that occurred in Jurassic Park on Isla nublar. It was due to the actions of Dennis nedry that 3 good men lost their lives: Robert Muldoon,Ray Arnold, and Donald Gennaro.and all so that he could get those stolen embryos to the boat that would have taken them to Lew Dodgson of Ingen's rival Biosyn! Dennis Nedry's family did not deserve any compensation for his death. In fact I hope they disowned him.

    • @MirandaAndUh

      It would be nice, but this scene is moreso about removing Hammond from his position. Masrani's CEO died on park grounds, so a transition of the title would have gone smoothly. That, and I'm pretty sure the people taking the dinosaurs from the island are doing so illegally. This is a great scene though (extremely well shot), and I do hope JWFK has scenes that take their time to address statistics and logistics like this and the first movie did.

      @@MirandaAndUh yeah Simon masrani was a good man much like Mr Hammond but while Mr Hammond probably died a peaceful death Simon did not as we all well know in that scene in Jurassic world when he and some of the guys from the the unit that was in charge of controlling the animals were trying to take down the escaped indominus Rex somehow the aviary was damaged and some of the pteranodons escape from the aviary and cause Mr masrani's helicopter to crash with all onboard lost.

So with all that this scene is just redundant. Now the scene with Roland getting recruited SHOULD have ABSOLUTELY been Left in the film!!!!!
