I myself prefer genuine stag or just regular jigged or smooth bone. That said, they did a really good job on it. It looks really good. Great video though!
Sorry I missed this response when you posted it. I don’t think I got a notification for it. My calipers are dead, but at a glance, comparing the Cooper to a GEC 71, the behind the edge thickness is similar.
Have you handled any rosecraft stag? Kind of similar as far as price point and usa made...decent blade and often d2 steel as well. I picked up a savage creek gunstock in stag. I like it
@SlipjointDisplay you might be right, i went back and read more, it says they are based in Tennessee with plans to manufacture in the usa...they do not currently manufacture in the usa, just design.
I agree with the bone stag thoughts. I’m just not a fan honestly. It’s ok but it feels cheaper to me for some reason. I’d rather just have smooth or jigged bone if you’re not gonna use stag. Cool knife though. Great video. Highly enjoyed it

Quick question, how is the cutting geometry of those copper cutlery in comparison with a GEC? Any idea of the behind the edge thickness? Thank you

@ Thats a good sign. I don’t like thick behind the edge. I read on BF, old Queen could be thick behind the edge.

@@carlito5552 yeah, as far as I know, at this point in time, Rosecraft is an American company that has their manufacturing done in China.
