Hi Goran, this is Automotodrom Grobnik, Rijeka. I was there in 1993 and 1994 as a young man with my Suziki GSX/R 1100. Best racetrack ever, best grip, but the problem were the animals on the track. Thank you you for sharing. Best regards Siggi
That would be the Greenwood mini. Esentially a three wheel car. Actually had four wheels although it complied with the rules of the time. He told me he built it as it was cheaprr to run than a more conventional outfit.
Sehr schönes Video, gut gemacht die Technik der Gespanne mal ohne Verkleidung zu sehen, was ich mir noch wünschen würde wären on Board Aufnehmen, am besten natürlich von mehreren Gespannen halt im fairen Fight. Und das König Gespann mal hören weil das letzte mal hab ich das gehört da war ich Jungspund und jetzt bin ich alter Sack is also schon ne Weile her.

Does anyone ( you'll have to be over 70 ! ) remember the "side car" with the tuned mini engine in it ? I think the guys name was Greenwood. I was amateur racing a Gold Star at the time and remember seeing him at Brands Hatch, that thing absolutely flew and there was a massive uproar in the side car community as it was so unfair, at the time most sidecar engines were single or twins, with not a lot of power ...can't remeber now if it was eventually banned ?...this would be mid 60's...
As an 11-12 yr old I remember it @ Snetterton, I thought it was a George Bevan Imp engine, but @ 67 memories fade...but the pictures I took are @ my house in U.K.&. currently in the US !!.
Les plus spectaculaires courses de moto de ma jeunesse ! J’ai 72 ans et quand j’y repense, quels frissons 😊😊😊
Cheers Francois! Have a good time!
Sidecar racing has always been my favourite motor sport, thanks for sharing the video.
Have a good time Geordie!

Einfach nur Spitze diese alten Maschinen.Technik pur.
Have a good time. Cheers!

Yes, Grobnik. Come back to see how it looks now.
Cheers Siggi!
Your work on your channel is top notch. I don't know of a better
channel.
Grüße nach Zagreb vom Wörthersee mein Freund Goran 👍👍👍
Thank you Christian! Have a wonderful weekend ... ride one of your Italians!
I'll ride my old 640 Duke this weekend ... pure old school!
Cheers!
Didn't know racing sidecars already existed since 1960s . Many thanks for this video 🙏
Have a good time Chad!
Racing sidecars existed way before 1960s.

Sidecar racing probably started a few days after the second Sidecar was built . . . : )
Also Seitenwagen oder Gespann-Rennen das gab es schon vor dem ersten Weltkrieg ungefähr zeitgleich mit Motorrad-Rennen.
@@peterwulf8713 danke Peter
Nobody except the BMW factory ran outfits like these. And slick tyres !?!?!
Great stuff, my friend.
Thank you Marty! Have a wonderful weekend!
Very interesting these old school tunnel Rams facing the opposite way I wonder how that works
I'm not familiar with the details, but there must be some kind of meaningful explanation...
Cheers Joe!
Cheers Watanabe! Have a nice weekend!

18 days with my "racing Ural outfit " to the Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man. Sadly there are no sidecar races. Cannot wait.
Lots of classic sidecar racing here ... stop by!
Cheers!

Put your headphone and listen a incredible sinphony of very exciting noise.
Gooodd!!!
Have a good time Claudio!

Cheers!
@@goran2003 the next race en final of season is in October but I will be a passenger this time because my sidecar is broken

Was that a Konig with the weber carby and the engine out? I couldn't make out a two stroke sound as the outfits went down the straight.
Yes, König. Cheers Marty!

Owen Greenwood? There is some information available on the Internet ... mostly on various UK sidecar forums.

Awesome. What engine was that torn down? Looked like a 2-stroke something to me.
It is indeed a 2-stroke. The Koenig started life as a outboard marine engine and was further developed for GP racing
The guzzi sidecar at 1:07 is basically 90's - 2000's bike probably norge or breva
Why do you think so? Ok, no round barrels, but could also be based on LM 3-5.
@@achimrotard901 notice the gearbox is not an old shaped one
You're right. Good eyes!👍@@edgyball7540
Qu'est ce que ça veut dire = des moteurs analogiques??
This is when you don't care about "digital" things like EFI, ABS, ASC, AWC...
Cheers!
