A dehumidifier is great for drying clothes faster and preventing damp/mould in the house. Use mine daily as the city i live in has a VERY humid and cold climate
Hi Grace, it is incredibly easy - Cottage Pie is Minced Beef and Shepherds Pie is Minced Lamb (to help you remember, a shepherd works with sheep/lamb). Best wishes and take care. Kind regards, Peter Skuce, St Albans. Hertfordshire.
Your bath segment reminded me of the fabulous idea I had as a child which I was sure would make me both famous and fabulously wealthy: books with waterproof pages, for reading in the bath. I'm neither famous nor wealthy but I was eventually put on a strict time limit for my baths -- and reading material was not allowed.
I have that rush thing too- usually for me it's a sign that I just have too many things going on and I feel like I need to hurry through every task even if I have plenty of time. I'd love to see the "vault" vlogs, always fun to see a little part of someone's else's day!
Most clothes wash cycles have a spin at the end which you can alter the speed of before you start it - a 1600rpm is best for cottons you don't usually need to add an extra spin at the end - if you are hanging clothes on a dryer it might be worth buying a dehumidifier and placing it in the same room or buy a heated dryer
The 'getting things done mindset' I've found is also known as being 'task orientated'. So focused on getting things checked off your list that you don't actually enjoy them. For example, I can't read books because I find I'm so focused on finishing them and calculating how long it will take me and how many chapters I have left, that its become such a stress I dont't enjoy the book itself. I'm not really sure what the solution is, but I found it helpful when someone spoke about it like that. I suppose you have to realise that the imaginary list in your head will never end, so why the rush. Your not a robot expected to just do things. Slow down and force yourself to remember that as you go
I’d definitely recommend a dehumidifier to help your clothes dry faster- it’s a game changer! Would also recommend a kitchen trolley to give you more counter space and storage in the kitchen- I got one from Argos which has been fab 👌🏻
Regarding the thing u said about rushing through things,, i have the same “problem” and i realized it was cuz i always felt that i never have enough time to do everything i want to do in a day. So the thing that helped the most was giving myself fixed time blocks during the day to better visualize how i can do SO much during 24 hrs if i can see it visually. Hope this helps!!
Post the videos Grace. That’s why you created Extra Grack, remember? 🥰 However you want to do it is fine by me, I just enjoy seeing what you got up to 👍🏽
Grace, re the washing. Get yourself a dehumidifier, a good one costs around 100 quid but your washing will be almost dry in a day and it keeps any damp or humidity at bay! Put it into a small room with the door closed.. boom! Dry clothes. And way way cheaper than a tumble dryer. We only use ours in winter because once it’s warm and sunny enough we dry stuff outside but it’s been brilliant.
How wonderful are Dre and his colleagues. I’m happy to see they have created their own family when the restaurant has neglected to be inclusive for these hard working folks to join the “family meal” which should have included everyone.
Grace, I recently bought a dehumidifier from B&Q it was like 60 pounds and I turn it on for a few hours while my washing is drying on the clothes horse and it literally dries in like a few hours. I bought a Victoria flat in SE London (not sure if yours is a house) and I think just with older houses it can be tricky.. between the airflow, old insulation, heating etc. Dehumidifier for the win - It's been a game changer. Love your videos. xx
Any video that includes food or something you enjoy we will love!! Always post what you wanna post, don’t worry if you think people won’t enjoy it because it’s what you like to make! Loved the breakfast bit so defo could’ve been its own video xx
thank you so much for your content you are one of the people on the internet who I watch and it actually makes me truly happy and I doesn't perpetuate unrealistic ways of living ,its just lovely honest and realistic content. Keep being you
Grace! You need a heated clothes airer. They are amazing but do reccomend spending a little more money on a decent one. We got a cheaper one initially but it got too hot and started to melt the plastic 😮 Lakeland Dry Soon is the one we now have and it’s got a timer function so it stops heating after a set time. Means you can leave it on overnight and not worry about burning down your house! Honestly, it’s probably the best gadget we own and certainly the most used
We just put our fan on and point it through the middle of the airier so there is movement kinda like wind outside. It works so well!!! 🌬️👌🏼☺️☺️ Also love your videos been watching for years! 🥰 keep doing you!!
With the drying we had the same problem, spinning deffo helps and sometimes we do multiple spins, depends what you have in there but with heavy items like towels and jumpers multiple spins is the one!
Grace, you need a Lakeland clothes dryer! The Dry Soon Pod or I believe that there is a cheaper one by Beldray. I had the Lakeland one and it worked perfectly.
The spin at the end of the laundry cycle makes such a difference! I spin it twice for heavy duty items. My mother never taught me either. My boyfriend had been told though, so he passed it on to me 😂
Shepherd’s pie is made with lamb ( shepherds tend to sheep and lambs) and cottage pie is made with beef. I don’t really like either, but the one good part of it is the cheesy, slightly crispy top.
i wanna say that ive got adhd and a lot of the things you describe are relatable to me. im always the one who is finished with work first and i sacrifice quality for speed. idk if its related but just an insight
Bless you Grace😊 I can’t imagine doing all my laundry without a dryer. Someone needs to manufacture a small apartment size dryer for the UK. Do you have access to a clothes line outside in the summer?
Today is the first time in my entire (rather long) life I ever heard the word "gonk". I 100% would have called those gnomes, but I looked it up and it's two different things. Live and learn! PS I'll watch any video you post on either channel, and I'd LOVE to see all the random ones!
I would not be here today if I left the cheese off my cottage pie! My youngest son just wouldn't have it! 😂 but yeah, as long as your veggies are diced the size of a pea, anything goes. I recently made one with lentils and chickpeas, and OML, it was amazing!! But usually I will use beef mince. Lamb makes it a sheppard's pie, and I only remember this because sheppards keep sheep, don't they? I don't know why it's called cottage pie with beef, but farmer's pie would be too vague, I guess? 😂 anyhoo, it's one of our favourite meals, we all love my cottage pie in my house 😋
Do you not have a tumble dryer? I could not cope having clothes hung in my rooms. I’ve had a dryer all my life. I did choose to hang out like baby diapers, sheets, quilts. Never jeans or towels. To stiff and scratchy.
Ok I have to ask, it is a British thing for the washer and dryer to be in the kitchen???? Here in Canada most of the washer and dryers are downstairs in the basement.
Yes it's common. Limited space and many buildings were converted to have plumbing and it was more convenient to use the kitchen plumbing when washing machines came in
@jado8224 flood risk and sandy areas won't have them. Cellars and basements became unnecessary when refrigeration came in and homes no longer used coal for heating
I’m sorry but isn’t the washer supposed to do the spin cycle automatically? I have the oldest whirlpool washer but it’s always the last step to the washer. Anyway love you sm and we will watch whatever you post I promise ❤
I have a dryer but I only use it for bedlinen and towels. But there is something seriously wrong with the ventilation if it takes more than a day for a washing to dry. I also find it really odd that it seems to be just normal in England to have black mold and you just wash it away 😳
@@katjaheikkila2158The mould doesn’t go away really, especially not in certain areas. All you can really do is clean it, repaint and then repeat when necessary. Of course if it’s severe then mould experts are called out to check and see if there’s a solution.
@katjaheikkila2158 it's not normal. I'm shocked washing takes a week to dry. I live in the subtropics and my washing doesn't take anywhere near that long
GRACE! ELECTRIC HEATED CLOTHES HORSE AND DEHUMIDIFIER WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE! Sorry, that was very enthusiastic but I loovveee mine. 12/24 hours to dry if that!
I don’t have to put my washing machine on an extra spin? It’s cycle has a spin of 1600rpm and that’s enough You just want to buy a washing machine with the highest setting.
We would love all the videos you film 😍 For me it does not matter where or how you post it, I just love to see your content 😌
Same here!

I would 100% be invested in this idea to be fair, too many innocent book pages have been lost to the depths of the bathtub 🤣
life is short, read in the bath

Grace check the spin speed options on your washing machine, they sometimes go from 800 to 1400. The higher spin take more water from the clothes

Can definitely second this dehumidifier tip!
Dehumidifier is a game changer
Assuming everyone has space for a kitchen trolley only highlights your blind privilege

Happy Friday Grace! Hope you’ve had a good week x 🤍
hi Grace!
i would love to see a vid with your movie recommendations :)
ty for the vlog & hope you enjoyed the bath!

Never been this early!🎉🎉 Love your vids Grace, gonna do the dishes and watch this!!❤

With the washing, you should crack a window to let the moisture out, stops the damp and dries quicker!
I just made cottage pie today! Cheesy mash on top, so good 😊
We just put our fan on and point it through the middle of the airier so there is movement kinda like wind outside. It works so well!!! 🌬️👌🏼☺️☺️
Also love your videos been watching for years! 🥰 keep doing you!!
Just bought a new house with a bathtub after renting for years without one, and I am so excited to have some luxurious baths like these!!
Have a go at the Sashiko patterns too, if you love the little sewing projects. So pretty and satisfying 😻
With the drying we had the same problem, spinning deffo helps and sometimes we do multiple spins, depends what you have in there but with heavy items like towels and jumpers multiple spins is the one!
yes would love to see the main channel vids on extra grack!!

For your washing do the spin, dehumidifier (the unibond ones are good) but then get a washing line it's nearly time for spring :)
The only thing missing for your bath is a lovely bevvie ... for me, wine or a nice cocktail ... maybe a mocktail for you?
Grace, I highly recommend a dehumidifier to help dry your clothes. You just use it in the colder months.
Grace you need a dehumidifier, changed the game, my washing is dry in 1 1/2 days if that!
You should look into a dribuddy from jml, I’ve got one as we’ve got no room for a dryer and it’s been a lifesaver over the winter!
Cheese makes everything better lol. Love a relaxing bath and just doing things that make you happy.
Keep being awesome.
totally post the whole video here !!
No peas for me! And also I don’t like grilled cheese but putting bread crumbs on top for some crunch is so so good!
Apparently a dehumidifier under the drying rack works great!
Definitely post the random snippets, maybe collate them all into one video (like a kind of video collage)?
i wanna say that ive got adhd and a lot of the things you describe are relatable to me. im always the one who is finished with work first and i sacrifice quality for speed. idk if its related but just an insight
I love you grack you make me giggle so muchhhh hahaha. Get it doneeeeee girl xxx hahaha 🤗
Defo just post your extra footage on here we love it ❤❤
Bless you Grace😊 I can’t imagine doing all my laundry without a dryer. Someone needs to manufacture a small apartment size dryer for the UK. Do you have access to a clothes line outside in the summer?
My slow morning brain thought you went to Bath for breakfast.😂😂😂
2 days in a row? We're being spoiled
Sometimes the slower you go, the faster you get there.
Please post all the footage on your channels! I enjoy all your content so much 😊❤
Please post them!!! We love to see your content so it will never be too much if you post those bits that dont make it to the main one
chuck in the little bits of video where ever you want we just want to see them :)
Today is the first time in my entire (rather long) life I ever heard the word "gonk". I 100% would have called those gnomes, but I looked it up and it's two different things. Live and learn!
PS I'll watch any video you post on either channel, and I'd LOVE to see all the random ones!
Hi Grace, I found that using a dehumidifier REALLY helps with drying my clothes on a rack! Just wanted to share that :)
Thank you much love xx
your making cottage pie, I'm having cottage pie right now !😄
Does your washing machine not automatically do a spin at the end? But I would say doing an extra spin would always be a benefit.
We turn a fan on when we dry our clothes inside. We have a ceiling fan but I'm sure a standing or box fan would work just the same.❤
2 10 min spin only helps loads make sure your not doing the spin and drain as I’m sure that one adds in water x
The easiest way to remember the difference between cottage and shepherds pie is that shepherds herd sheep.. that’s the one with lamb
would LOVE a complication of all the videos you have!
Al. Ways. Cheese. Tbh on all kinds of potato 😂
I would not be here today if I left the cheese off my cottage pie! My youngest son just wouldn't have it! 😂 but yeah, as long as your veggies are diced the size of a pea, anything goes. Put your washing outside on a line as long as it isn’t raining. Even if it isn’t dry when you bring it in it will be in the morning. Xx
If the washing takes forever to dry invest in a Lakeland air dryer! Game changee and folds away the same as your normal clothe rack in the background
Would you get a tumble dryer?
Doesn't your washer automatically do a spin cycle? In the US they do.
Raw uncooked rice in the bottom of each cupcake slot 👍
I really think you should post the videos here that don't make it on your main channel
Do you not have a tumble dryer? I could not cope having clothes hung in my rooms. I’ve had a dryer all my life. I did choose to hang out like baby diapers, sheets, quilts. Never jeans or towels. To stiff and scratchy.
We need to see updates on your flower lasagna

Isn’t your laundry dripping wet if it isn’t spinning at the end of the wash cycle?
Shepherds mind lamb flocks so that’s lamb and cottage is beef 😊
Service not great in France? hahaha I kid but I never had great service either time I went to France.
I’m sorry but isn’t the washer supposed to do the spin cycle automatically? I have the oldest whirlpool washer but it’s always the last step to the washer. Anyway love you sm and we will watch whatever you post I promise ❤
Point a fan at your washed clothes, it makes them dry so much quicker.
Hmm American machines automatically have a spin at the end, surprising UK machines make that optional.
Yeah my machine you have to specifically set to not spin. It's always been a part of regular machine cycles since I've been using washing machines
Shepherds shepherd sheep = lamb.
Wanting to end a project often stems from adhd ☺️
yes complete own thing more videos the better
Please tell me you weren't hanging out sopping wet washing 😂
Not being snotty here, but do you all have driers there? Just curious.
It’s very common
Some do. There is a drying option on washing machines. Using radiators to dry clothes is common.

I just put all clothes in together never had anything run.
Put a board over your sink then you have more space
You could call it "sheppage" pie
Get a tumble dryer 😊
chicken liver gizzard and intestines tasty for me sir also cow nose tongue lungs liver tripe intestines kidney torpedo skin
:)
100’s & 1000’s ? Are they like nonpareils?
They're round/spherical sprinkles
Yes exactly the same
GRACE! ELECTRIC HEATED CLOTHES HORSE AND DEHUMIDIFIER WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
Sorry, that was very enthusiastic but I loovveee mine. 12/24 hours to dry if that!
If it takes a literal week there’s probably a damp problem
I don’t think grace understands what butt hurt means lol
I don’t have to put my washing machine on an extra spin?
It’s cycle has a spin of 1600rpm and that’s enough
You just want to buy a washing machine with the highest setting.
Going for a walk only works against depression if you don’t have real bad reasons to be depressed
