Incredible set design aside, what a mindblowing show! We've been seeing a lot of this in the cities with the new proportion, the obvious embellishment, the different perspectives on the lapel, but LV simultaneously captured the trends masterfully and killed them. I was in love with the proportion of long coat and cropped trouser, and although there were similarities with Prada, LV brought volume and stiffness to the picture, there was definitely less movement in this collection. Beautiful.
this is the essence of LV design, best collection that i've seen in years.

I've never seen a show presented in such a way in all my life. I would've died to have seen this in person. Vuitton is all about luxury and travel and I think the brand has come full circle wit this show.

The train wasn't dissimilar to Johns 99 show! Wake up people!

Its funny that you say... please watch Marc Jacobs Fall Winter 2012 show... i am so sick of everyone thinking that he is ripping off Miuccia... Marc was the first show shown this season with skirts over pants and Marc's own show had those oversized sequins as well!!

Someone explain to me their reasoning behind hating the collection because of the set......what does one have to do with the other? This whole perspective that set or music or model line-up can ruin an entire collection is pathetic

i know it is about the 'essence of another era, the dowdiness, prettiness, country mouse, town mouse, expensive fabrics' bla bla bla but the clothes just aren't beautiful no matter what big words these editors come up with, sorry marc the set is fabolous as always but the clothes are shitty
