Fell in love with this song just from the preview. This track is really fun and a nice little twist coming from Grant. He said he wanted to have as much fun as possible, and he delivered! Count me in for more Grant DnB!
I have never heard a song where the artist has truly experimented and tried to have as much fun as possible quite as much as this and it defintley works in achieving an absolute banger very reminiscent of his older stuff which I also adore weirdly enough when I first listened it I kinda felt like parts were all over the place for me but after my second and now perhaps 20th listen its straight 🔥
I'm a MASSIVE fan of this one. One of my biggest problems with Grant's output within the last few years is that even though you can still generally tell it's a *Grant* track, his sound or style is typically majorly subdued. Very songwriting-focused, with big vocal melodies and whatnot, and while his tracks have certainly been well produced and incredibly refined, what really made him stand out against other artists I felt was lost along the way. His wild and explosive sound design that I can't describe as anything other than "ear candy" was lost in favor of more digestible and toned down modern """melodic bass""" sounds and it just wasn't what I was into. That being said, this track leans pretty heavily into that unique and energized sound design that he was famous for back in the day (think from his earliest releases under Grant Bowtie all the way to maybe Are We Still Young) and I *adore* it. He had no regard for what would be mainstream or popular here and just went all out and I'm so grateful for it. Now all I can hope for is for him to go full circle and put out an old school Future Bass record with that classic Bowtie sound
Fuck me it kinda feels like it gets better everytime i listen to it, grant rly took some strong risks with this one and damn, did they pay off! Its deffo 100x better than Heavy Heart, and might become my fav mcat song of the year if it manages to beat pyroclastic
Hey this new setup looks super clean. And great lighting setup too! One thing I'd recommend for a more "professional" look is to have something covering whats under the Table. So something like a mini curtain around the viewer side of the desk so the viewers dont see ur legs. Not that there's anything wrong with ur Legs btw😅 but just a suggestion to make this new look even better. Still looks fantastic tho!!!
In terms of all of his original releases this year, Lush is cool and vibey, but overall I think I still like Heavy Heart better. it feels more like classic Grant than Lush does imo… that also could be because this is dnb, which isn’t Grant’s typical style… therefore very different from most of his previous releases. Still tho… it’s always a treat to get new Grant🤩
this tune doesn't feel quite as catchy or well made as previous grant tunes, but more than makes up for it with the creativity. the outro was something straight out of an all nighter comp, would be really cool to see him make a song for all nighter one day idk
Only fitting we start the new studio run with the best of the best
New studio!? Looking absolutely sick!
Yes! Thank you!

bowtied always upgrading, new studio and new mic
Still experimenting with everything right now, so let me know what you like and don’t like
@@BowtiedMedia definitely love it, makes the videos seem more professional, don't really notice any problems yet
If the word "Fun" needed to be described as a song, it would be this one for sure !!
Absolutely!!
Gives me wrld vibes
Yep agreed 100%
Really fun and clean track from him, incredible
New setting looking cleeeaan
It feels like an alternative to WRLD's "By Design", which is really sick. It's a really good song though.
Kind of a "lush" reaction.
The essence of comedy ik

Love the studio! Did you just move in or something?
My old “studio” is becoming a nursery 😊
So I’m at a legit studio now haha - it’s definitely an upgrade but takes a lot more time to shoot
have you listened to Spirit Tell Me by Paper Skies? really good song + video clip. I didnt see you include in in any of your videos
Yea I missed it last week, I'll try to include in this next week's "This Week in EDM"
@@BowtiedMedia Thank you!
@@BowtiedMediayou didn't miss it, only the music video dropped last week, the song was released as a part of his album wireframe earlier in the year
totally reminds me to vice by mat zo
This new studio is SICK, congrats man 🔥not the biggest fan of the track but is always good to hava a new Grant song
Also love the new setup! Is the lamp even real though, looks like its edited in its so clean 😂
All the lights you see are totally real! Other than colour grading, there isn’t any editing to the footage!

Thanks! And yea that’s on the list of things to do. I feel the awkwardness of it too!

bro chose Dashstar* tune structure (cause of dashstar's phonk at the emd)
